Definitions

  • the invention relates to a surface cleaning device.
  • Surface cleaning devices are well known and include, for example, a support body which is connected to a cleaning sponge.
  • the cleaning sponge consists for example of a PU foam with a constant density and is cuboid.
  • the contact pressure applied by the user to the surface cleaning device is essentially the same in the area of the entire cleaning surface of the cleaning sponge. Stronger contaminants on the surface to be cleaned must be removed by frequent back-and-forth wiping and greatly increased user power to the cleaning sponge.
  • a surface cleaning device comprising a support body which is connected to a cleaning sponge, wherein the support body on the cleaning sponge side facing three stamp-shaped projections which are arranged in a congruent shaped recess of the cleaning sponge.
  • Another surface cleaning device is from the DE 103 50 997 B3 known.
  • This surface cleaning device comprises a wiper plate for receiving a replaceable wipe, in which a plate-shaped support plate is connected to an attachable to the bottom elastic resilient foam body.
  • the foam body over which a replaceable wipe is drawn during the intended use, has at least one recess in which at least one non-elastic stamp connected to the support plate is arranged, the stamp having a length which is less than the length of the foam body in the unclaimed state.
  • the invention is based on the object to further develop a surface cleaning device of the type mentioned above that partially on the surface to be cleaned, stronger impurities can be removed more easily and / or by less effort of the user that a reaching reaching cleaning sponge well adapted to the particular circumstances of the application, so it is individualized functionally, especially when it comes together with a wing mop for use.
  • a surface cleaning device comprising a support body which is connected to a cleaning sponge, wherein the support body on the side facing the cleaning sponge has at least one punch-shaped projection which is arranged in a congruent shaped recess of the cleaning sponge, wherein the cleaning sponge at least comprises two cleaning part sponges, each having a cleaning surface, wherein the cleaning part sponges consist of divergent materials and are arranged side by side and connected to each other, wherein the first cleaning part sponge has a greater flexibility than the second, each in the dry state.
  • the projection to be cleaned facing the projection has a smaller distance from the surface to be cleaned, as the adjoining areas of the support body; in other words, the cleaning sponge has a height between the surface to be cleaned and the projection that is less than the height of the cleaning sponge in adjacent to the projection adjacent areas.
  • the surface cleaning device If strong contaminants are to be removed from the surface to be cleaned by the surface cleaning device according to the invention, this is comparatively simple in that the user only has to apply pressure to the surface to be cleaned via the supporting body and the cleaning sponge with slightly increased force. Since the height of the cleaning sponge between the surface to be cleaned and the face to be cleaned facing front of the projection is less than the entire height of the cleaning sponge, a little increased effort sufficient to in the region of the projection a specific higher contact pressure on the to be cleaned To be able to apply surface, which causes specifically higher surface pressure in the region of the projection; that even strong impurities can be easily removed from the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning sponge can be easily adapted to the particular circumstances of the application and is easy to handle together with a wing mop.
  • the wing mop is also easy to operate when the cleaning body is dry or largely dry, without the cleaning sponge is damaged or destroyed.
  • the cleaning part sponges are designed such that they are particularly well suited to solve the given subtasks.
  • the cleaning sponge is particularly well bendable in the area of the first cleaning part sponge, so that it also in connection with a Wing mop can be used well and the muff can be easily operated even in the dry state of the cleaning sponge, without the cleaning sponge is damaged or destroyed.
  • the material of the second cleaning part sponge can be designed for a particularly good cleaning performance, without having to be taken into account whether it is flexible in the dry state or not.
  • the first cleaning part sponge ensures excellent functioning of the folding mechanism of a wing mop even when the cleaning sponge is dry or slightly moistened.
  • the ratio of the height of the recess to the height of the cleaning sponge is less than or equal to 1.
  • the ratio is 0.3 to 0.95, more preferably 0.5 to 0.75. If the ratio of the height of the recess to the height of the cleaning sponge is close to 1, this means that the remaining height of the cleaning sponge between the cleaning surface of the cleaning sponge and the end face of the projection is only very small.
  • the disadvantage is the opposite, however, that the cleaning sponge is exposed in the region of his only sher small amount of high mechanical stress, thereby relatively quickly wears and in the event of damage to the cleaning sponge in the area in the region of the projection there is a risk of damaging the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning sponge on the side facing the surface to be cleaned a cleaning cloth, preferably from Microfiber out
  • the projections then act on pressure on the cleaning sponge directly on the cleaning cloth.
  • the ratio of the height of the recess to the height of the cleaning sponge is 0.5 to 0.75. In such an embodiment, a very good compromise between the increased cleaning performance in the region of the projection on the one hand and the durability of the cleaning sponge in this area on the other hand given.
  • the cleaning sponge has a plurality of recesses, wherein in each of the recesses, a projection is arranged.
  • the recesses are arranged distributed uniformly over the surface of the cleaning sponge facing the support body.
  • the area of the surface cleaning device which covers the projections is comparatively large, whereby the force exerted on the surface cleaning device is distributed among the plurality of projections and thereby, with respect to each individual projection, with constant force only a comparatively lower force on the surface to be cleaned can be exercised.
  • the recesses are arranged only in a partial region of the cleaning sponge and that the subregion forms a power zone with enhanced cleaning performance, based on the regions of the cleaning sponge adjoining the partial region. It is advantageous that the force applied by the user on the, based on the entire Cleaning surface, smaller portion is applied and thus a specific higher force is effective on the surface to be cleaned. Even stronger impurities can be removed with the same effort.
  • such a configuration has the advantage that in the areas adjacent to the portion of the full height of the cleaning sponge and thus a large volume is available as a reservoir for the cleaning fluid.
  • the cleaning sponge may consist of polyurethane (PU). It is advantageous that the cleaning sponge has a good durability even under heavy mechanical stress.
  • PU polyurethane
  • the cleaning sponge is made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA).
  • PVA polyvinyl alcohol
  • the cleaning sponge for example, consist of cellulose.
  • Both PVA and cellulose have the advantage over PU cleaning sponges that they can take up and store larger quantities of cleaning fluid and that the cleaning performance, based on PU cleaning sponges, is improved.
  • the cleaning sponges are made entirely of cellulose or entirely of polyurethane.
  • the first cleaning part sponge is preferably made of polyurethane (PU). It is advantageous that the first cleaning part sponge made of polyurethane, regardless of whether it is dry or wet, is always well flexible / foldable and therefore even in the dry or largely dry state, the function of a wing mop on which the cleaning sponge preferably non-destructive is releasably secured, not impaired.
  • the durability of such a cleaning part sponge is good because polyurethane has a relatively high resistance to mechanical stress, even if the user exerts an increased contact pressure on the first cleaning part sponge.
  • the second cleaning part sponge preferably consists of cellulose according to a first advantageous embodiment. It is advantageous that the second cleaning subsponge has good performance in terms of its cleaning performance, since cellulose absorbs impurities particularly well. Although cleaning part sponges made of cellulose have only a very low degree of flexibility in the dry state, this is not detrimental in the case of the cleaning sponge according to the invention and its use in a wing mop because the substantially more flexible first cleaning part sponge is provided for the flexibility.
  • the second cleaning part sponge consists of a polyvinyl alcohol.
  • the second cleaning subsponge made of PVA has the advantage that the pore size of the second cleaning subsponge can be very well adapted to the particular circumstances of the application.
  • the water absorption of PVA is also often slightly higher than the water absorption of cellulose.
  • the cleaning part sponge are each formed in one piece and of uniform material. Such a configuration is of crucial importance, in particular for the first cleaning subsponge, because this ensures that each subarea of this first cleaning subsponge has the same advantageous flexibility; the disadvantages in terms of flexibility, for example, due to a mix of materials in the first Particle sponge would result, for example, the fact that this would be constructed in layers by the surface to be cleaned in the direction of the supporting body of the mophead, thereby avoided.
  • the cleaning part sponges may each be formed substantially parallelepiped and connected to each other on their respective end faces. As a result, the cleaning sponge is divided into functional zones as a whole, with each functional zone corresponding to a cleaning part sponge.
  • a third cleaning subsponge may be arranged on the end side of the first cleaning subsponge remote from the second cleaning subsponge and to be connected to the first cleaning subsponge.
  • the second and the third cleaning part sponge are formed consistently in shape and / or material. The handling is simplified by the symmetry of the cleaning sponge to the first cleaning part sponge.
  • the second and the third cleaning sponge although match in shape, but with respect to the material are designed differently from each other.
  • the second cleaning subsponge could thus have a more abrasive cleaning action than the third, wherein the third cleaning subsponge could, for example, have greater flexibility than the second cleaning subsponge.
  • the cleaning sponge is adapted to the particular circumstances of the application.
  • the second cleaning part sponge could be rounded on the side facing away from the first cleaning part sponge end face, the third cleaning part sponge on the the end face facing away from the first cleaning part sponge, however, may have an angular configuration.
  • the wiping is advantageous, since especially when the first cleaning part sponge consists of PU, this has only a comparatively lower cleaning performance, based on cellulose.
  • the microfibre wiping is beneficial.
  • the microfiber wiping cloth has the shape of a cloth and has a negligible thickness relative to the thickness of the first cleaning sub-sponge, so that the flexibility of the first cleaning sub-sponge is not impaired by the use of the microfibre wiper trimming.
  • the wiping stock may for example also consist of a material deviating from microfiber. If it is necessary to use a material which has a more abrasive effect, a wiping stock consisting of a proportion of microfibers and a proportion of viscose may be used.
  • the support body comprises two wings, which are hingedly connected to one another by a hinged joint, wherein the joint is arranged exclusively in the region of the surface of the first cleaning part sponge.
  • a wing mop with such a cleaning sponge has the advantage that the folding mechanism of the wing mop works well even if the cleaning sponge is dry or slightly moistened. This is achieved in that the first cleaning sub sponge of the wing mop has a flexibility that is at least largely consistent, regardless of whether the first partial cleaning sponge is dry, damp or wet.
  • the material PU for the first cleaning part sponge is particularly advantageous, since PU has a significantly higher elongation at break than cellulose and thereby results in an improved durability for the cleaning sponge, even under high mechanical stress by the nubs.
  • the support body is preferably made of a polymeric material. It is advantageous that such a support body has only a small mass and is resistant to a variety of cleaning fluids.
  • the projections may form an integral and integral part of the support body.
  • Such an embodiment is redesignzuariadem advantage, since the entire support body including its projections in one operation can be produced.
  • the projections may consist of an elastomeric material.
  • Such projections may be non-positively and / or positively connected to a support plate of the support body.
  • Projections of elastomeric material have the advantage of an automatic force limitation, so that the benefits of the increased cleaning performance is minimized with comparatively little effort at too high a force the risk of damage to the surface to be cleaned.
  • the force limitation described above can be achieved in that the projections are elastically yielding in the axial direction. If the protrusions are made of an elastomeric material, this elastic resilience is due to the elastomeric material itself. If, on the other hand, the projections are a one-piece and material-integral component of the support body, the projections can be accordharmonic-shaped, for example, in a partial region of their axial extension and absorb too high forces for the surface to be cleaned by elastic deformation.
  • the support body and the cleaning sponge are preferably non-destructively releasably connected to each other. It is advantageous that the support body and the cleaning sponge are each recyclable recyclable.
  • the cleaning sponge which is subject to higher wear than the support body, can also be easily replaced by the embodiment described above.
  • the connection between the support body and cleaning sponge can be non-positive and / or positive.
  • One possible fastening device is a hook-and-loop fastener with which the cleaning sponge is attached to the support body.
  • the support body may have a handle on the side facing away from the cleaning sponge.
  • the surface cleaner thereby has the form of a pug or broom and can be used by the user for effortless cleaning of floors.
  • a further improved handling of the surface cleaning device can be achieved in that the support body and the handle are connected by means of a hinge articulated with each other. Support body and handle can be moved by gimbals to each other, for example.
  • the cleaning sponge can be covered on the side facing away from the support body, at least in the partial area, by a microfibre wiper trim.
  • a microfibre wiper trim is advantageous to improve the cleaning performance.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 an embodiment of a surface cleaning device is shown.
  • the surface cleaning device is suitable for cleaning floors, in particular for cleaning floors with different levels of contamination.
  • the surface cleaning device according to the invention has a support body 1 made of polymeric material on the cleaning sponge 2 side facing in the embodiment shown here seven stamp-shaped projections 3.1, 3.2, Vietnamese 3.7, extending from the support plate 13 of the support body 1 axially Direction of the surface to be cleaned 14 extend.
  • the projections 3.1, 3.2, ... are 3.7 in a corresponding number congruent designed recesses 4.1, 4.2, ... 4.7 of the cleaning sponge 2 arranged.
  • FIG. 1 is a section through the surface cleaning device according to the invention shown along the line CD FIG. 2 .
  • the ratio of the height 5 of the recesses 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 to the height 6 of the cleaning sponge 2 is about 0.75 in the embodiment shown here.
  • the recesses 4.1, 4.2,... 4.7 are arranged only in the partial area 8 of the cleaning sponge, this sub-area 8 being designed as a so-called power zone with enhanced cleaning performance.
  • a higher specific surface pressure can be applied to the surface to be cleaned by increased axial contact pressure of the surface cleaning device to the surface 14 to be cleaned in the subarea 8, since already - in the sense of a translation - a comparatively slightly higher force by the user on the support body 1 has a significantly higher specific surface pressure on the surface to be cleaned in the sub-area 8 result.
  • the recesses 4.1, 4.2,... 4.7 are designed like a blind hole.
  • the inner diameter of the recesses 4.1, 4.2, ... 4.7 is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the projections 3.1, 3.2, ... 3.7. This ensures good compressibility of the cleaning sponge between the ends of the projections 3.1, 3.2, ... 3.7 and the surface 14 to be cleaned.
  • the support body 1 is connected by means of a gimbal joint 11 with the handle 10 and thereby usable as a floor cleaning device.
  • the cleaning surface 15 of the cleaning sponge 2 is provided with the microfibre wiper trim 12.
  • FIG. 2 is the cut AB off FIG. 1 shown.
  • the seven projections 3.1, 3.2,... 3.7 are shown cut within the recesses 4.1, 4.2,... 4.7, the subregion 8, which in the exemplary embodiment shown here is covered by the microfiber wiper trimming 12, being shown in dashed lines is.
  • the embodiment of the Figures 3 and 4 differs from the embodiment of the FIGS. 1 and 2 in that the cleaning sponge 2 comprises three cleaning part sponges 16, 17, 23, each having cleaning surfaces 18, 19, 28, wherein the cleaning part sponges 16, 17, 23 made of divergent materials and are arranged side by side and connected to each other.
  • the first cleaning part sponge 16 is made of PU and has a greater flexibility than the second 17 and the third cleaning part sponge 23, each in the dry state.
  • the second and the third cleaning part sponge 17, 23 are each made of cellulose and are formed consistently in shape and material.
  • the first cleaning sub-sponge 16 has the aforementioned sub-area 8, wherein only the cleaning surface 18 of the first cleaning sub-sponge 16 on the side facing away from the surface 7 has a microfibre wiper trimming 12.
  • the surface cleaning device from the Figures 3 and 4 is designed as a wing mop, wherein the support body 1 has two wings 24, 25 which are hingedly connected together by a hinge-like joint 26 formed. The joint 26 is arranged exclusively in the region of the surface 27 of the first cleaning part sponge 16.
  • the embodiment of the cleaning sponge according to the invention can be used not only for supporting bodies which can be folded about an axis transversely to the longitudinal axis of the supporting body (shown here). Also supporting bodies which have a joint which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis or which corresponds to the longitudinal axis can be provided with the cleaning sponge; the two cleaning part sponges / the three cleaning part sponges then extend, for example, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support body.
