Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cutting device for cutting sheet material, such as paper or films, having the features of the preambles of claims 1 and 10.
  • manually operable cutters are used both in the office and in the private sector, which essentially consists of a sheet support in the form of a sheet material usually completely receiving backing plate and a mostly on one side consist of the pad plate arranged cutting device.
  • lever cutting devices and roll cutting devices have prevailed.
  • the latter have a straight guide rail running above and parallel to the base plate, on which a roller cutting device in the form of a knife carriage can be moved.
  • rotatably mounted disc diameter is arranged, which by means of an actuating device from a raised starting position in a lowered cutting position is movable.
  • the cutting process is effected in that the knife carriage is moved after taking the cutting position by the disc knife along the guide rail.
  • the cutter overall remains stationary (see. US 2002/00923696 A1 ; DE 203 18 947 U1 ; DE 10 2004 004 081 A1 ; DE 203 17 096 U1 ).
  • Such a slitter-cutting device can also be combined with a lever-cutting device in order to combine the different capabilities of the two cutting devices in a cutting device (cf. EP 1 475 201 A1
  • a lever-cutting device in order to combine the different capabilities of the two cutting devices in a cutting device
  • the roll cutting device can be moved on the base plate and thus relative to the sheet material to be trimmed (cf. FIGS. 7 and 8th of the EP 1 475 201 A1 ).
  • the cutting device consists only of a set with a cutting mat, an acrylic glass ruler and a slitter, which has a mounted on the acrylic glass guide rail and a supply of three independent slitter, in each of which a disc knife is mounted, which are different Have cutting.
  • the sheet material to be trimmed is placed on the cutting mat.
  • the slitter is pushed with the desired disc diameter on the guide rail from the front side and the unit is made of acrylic glass, guide rail and slitter by moving over the sheet material in the desired position for the trim.
  • the cutting operation is effected by the fact that the housing of the roller cutting device with the disc blade in the direction of the sheet material and thus pressed down in the cutting position and then the roll cutting device is moved along the guide rail. So that it does not come to a relative movement of the acrylic glass ruler against the sheet material, while the acrylic glass ruler must be firmly pressed onto the sheet material, which is cumbersome and shifts not reliably avoided.
  • the change of the disc diameter takes place in that the roller cutting device located on the guide rail is replaced by another with the desired disc diameter.
  • the known cutters have the fundamental disadvantage that the respective cutting line is determined by the position and course of a guide rail. In addition, all cutters of this type take up considerable space, so that their transport is cumbersome and they have a significant amount of space.
  • the invention has the object of providing a cutting device having a slitter having a single slitter with one or more disc knives, form such that with the cutter any cutting lines can be realized. In addition, it should have a small space requirement.
  • This object is achieved in a cutting device with a single disc diameter by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 and in a cutting device with a plurality - for example, two, three or four - Slicing knife having cutting device solved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 8.
  • the basic idea of the invention is to design a cutting device such that the cutting process can be effected by allowing the cutting device as a whole to move freely over the sheet material with the disc knife fixed downwards relative to the cutting device, without the movement being guided by a guide device how the guide rails is limited in the known cutters of the type in question here. You can not only produce straight cutting lines with this cutter, but move it in any direction. This opens up the possibility to cut out certain areas of a sheet material, for example, to separate photos from desired sections in a single operation. This results in a variety of creative possibilities that could not be realized with the known cutters.
  • the at least one-sided, preferably two-sided cover of each located in the cutting position disc diameter with the help of a protective element damage or injury to the operator.
  • the movable guide of the protective element makes it possible that the protective element pushed when placing the cutter on the sheet material relative to the device body upwards into the release position and thus located in the cutting position Disc knife is released for cutting the sheet material, ie only then protrudes downwards.
  • the actuating device has a rotary body which is rotatably mounted with respect to the device body and is displaceable from the outside into a rotational movement, via which the disc diameter between the starting position and cutting position is movable.
  • a rotary body which is rotatably mounted with respect to the device body and is displaceable from the outside into a rotational movement, via which the disc diameter between the starting position and cutting position is movable.
  • the disc diameter is arranged on the device body and between the rotary body and disc knife such an operative connection is that by rotating the rotary body, the disc diameter between the starting position and cutting position is movable.
  • the disc knife for example, stored vertically displaceable on the device body and the displacement can be effected by the rotary body.
  • the disc knife is arranged on the rotary body. This can - as in the known device with a single roller cutting device and multiple disc knives - done in such a way that the disc diameter is rotatably mounted on the rotary body about a fixed axis and the lifting or lowering movement is done by rotating the rotating body.
  • the disc diameter is movably mounted on the rotary body and between the disc blade and the device body a guide device is provided, which is designed such that by rotating the rotary body, the movement of the disc diameter between the starting position and cutting position is effected.
  • the guide device may be formed, for example, as a sliding guide or as a guide rail on which the disc diameter rests directly or indirectly under spring preload.
  • each disc cutter is coupled to one actuating element, via which the associated disc cutter is movable between a starting position and a cutting position.
  • the roller cutting device has a plurality of independent disc diameter, which can be movably, for example pivotally or slidably mounted on the device body and can be moved by manipulating the actuating elements in the respective position.
  • the actuating device comprises a rotary body which is rotatably mounted with respect to the device body and is displaceable from the outside in a rotational movement, via which the disc diameter between a starting position and the cutting position are movable.
  • the rotary body is rotatable about a horizontal axis and the disc blades are arranged distributed in a conventional manner over the circumference of the rotating body in preferably equal angular intervals, on in relation to the rotary body fixed axes of rotation.
  • the disc blades can be arranged movably on the device body, wherein between the rotating body and disc knife such an operative connection can be formed that by rotating the rotary body one of the disc diameter between the starting position and cutting position is movable.
  • the disc blades can also be arranged on the rotary body, in which case a guide device is provided between the disc blades and the device body, which is designed such that either one of the disc blade is movable into the cutting position by turning the rotary body. In this case, the disc blades are not held stationary on the rotating body, but movable, wherein the guide device provides for the movement of the disc blades.
  • the guide device may be formed, for example, as a guideway on which the disc blades bear directly or indirectly under spring bias.
  • the device body may for example be hat-shaped, that is in the form of a circular disc with a maximum diameter of 15 cm, in which case the rotary body is mounted within the device body.
  • the rotary body should protrude from the bottom of the device body and there have grip elements as an actuating device, via which the rotary body relative to the device body is rotatable.
  • the disc blades are movable so that they can be brought by means of the actuator all in initial positions in which none of the disc blades protrude beyond the bottom of the cutter.
  • This neutral position is provided in particular for the transport of the cutting device and prevents one of the disc knife causes damage or injury.
  • the underside has at least one, preferably a plurality of flat sliding surfaces for the tilt-free support of the cutting device on the sheet material.
  • the flat sliding surface ensures safe handling of the cutter during the cutting process.
  • the invention further provides that the device body in the region in which each disc blade is in the cutting position, has a cutout which is dimensioned so that the disc cutter located in the cutting position is interchangeable by the cutout.
  • Each disc knife should be completely covered on the outside via a removable cap in the starting position.
  • the protective element may be formed, for example, as the underside of the cutter forming protective disc, which is preferably spring-loaded in the direction of the protective position. In this way, it is ensured that the relevant disc knife is encapsulated at least on one side when the cutter is lifted from the sheet and transported. If the spring load is greater than the weight of the cutter without the protective element, it is also guaranteed that the protective position of the protective element is maintained even when the cutter rests with its underside on the sheet material or other surfaces. A cutting process can only be initiated when pressure is actively exerted in the direction of the material to be trimmed from above onto the cutting device.
  • the or the disc knife in the starting position on both sides is encapsulated or are. You should be like this, that damage to objects or injuries are avoided in any case.
  • the disc knife located in the cutting position is locked, so that it is ensured that this disc knife can not move automatically from the cutting position during the cutting process.
  • the locking should not be so strong that it is not overcome by handling the actuator.
  • the cutting device according to the invention may be relatively small and compact, so that it can be at least as far covered by a human hand that it can be performed with one hand similar to a computer mouse safely on the sheet material.
  • the cutting device can be ergonomically adapted to the inside of a human hand.
  • other shapes are possible if they adapt well to the human hand, for example, regular shapes such as circular, disk-shaped formations with top-side bulges etc.
  • the special feature of the cutting device according to the invention does not exclude providing a guide for the cutting device, which makes it possible for the cutting device to be exactly straight or exactly one predetermined Lead line.

  • the guide rail serves as a kind of ruler for the cutting device, the cutting device can then be placed anywhere on the guide rail and then moved along the guide rail.
  • the cutting device according to the invention can also be placed on a curved, in particular circular guide rail and moved largely free of play.
  • the guide rail should be provided at least on one side, preferably on both sides with horizontally extending support webs so that it is securely held in its upright position, so can not tilt.
  • the shape of the guide rail is arbitrary, ie they may be in particular straight, curved or circular.
