Abstract

L'invention concerne un plateau tibial à support transversal, comprenant deux faces articulaires (3), deux supports de faces articulaires (1) et un support transversal (4). Ce plateau tibial à support transversal est agencé de sorte que les faces articulaires (3) puissent être introduites séparément, par l'avant, dans l'articulation du genou. Cet agencement facilite l'opération et permet de conserver la corticale ventrale. L'utilisation de supports de faces articulaires (1) et de faces articulaires (3) séparés permet de fixer tout d'abord les supports de faces articulaires (1) sur le support transversal (4) par exemple au moyen de vis de support (2). En variante, les supports de faces articulaires (1) ou les unités de faces articulaires (321) sont implantés tout d'abord obliquement par le haut, avec conservation de la corticale ventrale, puis sont reçus et soutenus, par le côté, par l'intermédiaire d'un support transversal (4) conçu à cet effet.
