Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for filling bags with pourable goods.
  • the invention relates to a form-fill-seal machine for filling open bags, in which formed from a film tube open tubes and filled them with pourable goods and then sealed.
  • Downwardly trickling product particles and product dusts are e.g. interfering with the removal of a full sack, as the particles deposit on machine parts and dirty on later contact with a bag this. This is particularly unfavorable in the case of the often used bags made of PE film (films made of polyethylene), as in which the cleaning of dusts from the bag outside - due to static charge - is difficult.
  • PE film films made of polyethylene
  • a filling device in the form of a saddle for supporting the bag to be filled is provided in such filling machines.
  • This saddle is often also equipped with a compacting device, since powdered products must be subjected to compaction to guarantee a high degree of filling. The compaction takes place for example during the filling process by shaking the bottom of the bag.
  • the device according to the invention serves to fill bags with pourable goods.
  • the device comprises at least one filling member for filling the bags and at least one supporting device with a support surface in order to support the bag to be filled during filling from below.
  • the support device according to the invention is provided with a movable and controllable covering device, which releases the support surface in a filling position and covers the support surface Sackes in a covering position. The covering position is assumed, for example, if no sack is arranged on the filling member.
  • the device is a form-fill-seal machine for filling open sacks with pourable goods, in particular for filling powdery or dusty filling material.
  • the invention has many advantages. According to the invention, contamination of the support device is prevented to a considerable extent, since the support device is essentially covered by the cover device. Downwardly dusts and product particles settle on the top of the cover and not on the support means, so that contamination of the bottom of the next bag is avoided.
  • the covering device In the covering position, the covering device covers the support surface from falling bulk material. This position is taken at the end of the filling process or when removing the full bag.
  • the covering device is designed in particular as a cover flap.
  • the covering device is controlled by a control device of the packaging machine. Before the bag is taken off, the covering device can already be applied to the bag and pivot with the removal of the bag, so that essentially no gap occurs between the bag and the covering device.
  • a simple implementation can be done, for example, by providing a pneumatic drive for the movement of the covering device, which moves the covering device only with relatively little force, so that the covering device can already be moved with the removal of the bag into the covering position.
  • the cover may, in certain embodiments, butt against the bag, but is excluded by the low force of the drive of the cover damage to the bag during contact.
  • a sealing lip made of a rubber material or the like may be provided on the covering device.
  • the covering is only moved when the bag is removed, so that a contact of the bag and cover is essentially not given.
  • the cover is attached to the support means.
  • the covering device is arranged at least in the covering position directly above the supporting device. This means that there is a small distance to the support device, in order to essentially ensure that no dust or the like deposits from the side on the saddle.
  • the cover may also be designed bell-shaped to prevent dust from entering the side.
  • the covering device is arranged pivotably.
  • a pivoting movement is advantageous because a rotational movement is easy to implement.
  • the pivot point is provided on a lateral region of the covering device.
  • the pivot point may be provided at a lateral end of the cover. If the cover is additionally attached to the support means, a particularly simple pivoting movement and a simple structure results.
  • a significant advantage of such a configuration is that, when pivoting sideways, the fillers, powders and dusts accumulated on top of the cover are dropped to the far side and then pass into a discharge system.
  • the pivot point is below the covering device.
  • the pivot point can be arranged centrally below the covering device and the pivot axis can be connected to the covering device via a linkage or the like.
  • Such a configuration allows a compact pivoting movement of the Abdekk Nur. There is little space needed in height.
  • the pivot point may be above the cover. Then the covering device is e.g. as a swing pivoted on the support means to effect the dust cover.
  • the covering device may also include or be designed as a movable blind for the dust cover.
  • a flexible and pivotable or movable fabric or film element is possible.
  • the support device may have at least one vibrating device in order to compact the filling material in the bag to be filled or in the bags during filling.
  • the support device of the device is designed as a vibrating plate.
  • an upward air flow can be generated on the filling member. This is advantageous in order to reverse the significant portion of the dusts falling down and smaller product particles by the upwardly directed air flow and to suck upwards.
  • a double-walled filling member can be used, in which filled with the inner region and with the Ring gap air is sucked.
  • the air displaced by the filling material is controlled in a controlled manner in order to avoid overpressure in the bag.
  • air or dust-extraction air is extracted from the filling element at a higher output in order to reduce the escape of dust when the bag is removed.
  • the device can represent a closure device on the filling member in order to close the opening of the filling member after filling a bag.
  • the closure device may be formed as a flap on the nozzle and is controllable via the control device.
  • the support means may be provided adjustable in height to adapt the support means to the degree of filling of the bags and / or different sack heights.
  • Fig. 1 is a partial view of the filling or packaging machine 1 according to the invention is shown, which is designed here as a form-fill-seal-packing machine (FFS packing machine) and for filling open bags with free-flowing goods, such as granules or powders or the like serves.
  • FFS packing machine form-fill-seal-packing machine
  • a film roll (not shown) is provided, unwound from the tubular film and in particular gusseted tubular film and fed into the machine.
  • a corresponding piece of the film is cut and welded at the bottom to produce the open bag 6.
  • the fresh weld is cooled with a suitable weld cooling device, so that the bag 6 obtains the required stability.
  • the bags can also be made from a simple film web, which is folded, welded to the side and made up in length. The supply of finished bags is possible.
  • the empty bag 6 is gripped by means of grippers 9 (see Fig. 3) and attached to the filling member 2 of the packing machine 1 designed as a filler neck.
  • a controlled metering device and a net balance with a controllable outlet are arranged above the filling element 2.
  • the dosing pumped via a worm gear or a metering flap or other dosing unit to be filled Good in a storage container of the net balance, until the weight to be filled is included in the net balance.
  • the net balance only weighs the bulk material and not in addition the empty weight of the bag, as it does with a gross balance.
  • the conveying member is controlled by a control device, which takes into account the already existing weight in the reservoir, so that an accurate dosage is possible.
  • the outlet of the reservoir is opened and the contents are passed into the bag 6, at its upper End is opened over a large part of the cross section and depends on the filling member 2.
  • the upper edge of the bag 6 is attached via clamping devices on the filling member, so that there is a substantially tight fit.
  • On Gubon 2 may optionally still be provided for control a gross balance. This is e.g. a bag break can be recognized if the deviation between the target and actual weight becomes too great. It is also possible to use a checkweigher to check the bag weight on the conveyor belt.
  • the height of the height-adjustable vibrating table 4 is adapted to the level of the bag 6.
  • To accelerate the filling of the vibrating table 4 is set in a conventional manner by means of a vibrating unit 12 in vibrations, which are transmitted to the bag 6 to be filled. This compacts the contents 19 in the sack and achieves an optimum filling speed, e.g. 2300 bags per hour or even more.
  • the filled bag state 11 is shown in FIG.
  • the filled bag 11 is then removed from the filling member 2.
  • the filler neck is free.
  • adhering particles and caking etc. can be solved by the inevitable vibrations and vibrations in the filler neck and trickle down.
  • the trickling down product particles 10 are collected.
  • the dust and product particles 10 do not reach the support surface 15 of the vibrating table 4, but are deposited on the upper side 20 of the covering device 5.
  • the cover flap 5 is rotatably mounted here about the pivot axis 14 located on the side 18 of the cover flap 5 and can be pivoted at least between the covering position 8 shown in FIG. 3 and the filling position 7 shown in FIG. In between, the taking of intermediate positions is possible in particular.
  • the cover flap 5 abuts on the side of the sack when the filled sack 11 is taken off, so that no gap is formed downward while the sack is detached.
  • the cover flap 5 is then moved further in particular synchronously with the filled bag 11 so that the cover flap 5 is in the covering position 8 when the bag 11 is completely removed.
  • the upper opening 6b of the filled bag 11 is welded and the bag 11 is further transported.
  • a next empty bag 6 is shown in Fig. 4.
  • the following empty bag 6 is pivoted in the direction of the arrow 16 on the filling member 2. If necessary, particles may still escape from the filling element 2, which will trickle down. Part of the trickling particles 10 still falls on the still in cover position 8 located cover 5, while another part may already fall into the upper opening 6b of the bag to be attached 6, which is already open to be attached to the filler neck.
  • a clean vibrating table 4 is achieved with a clean support surface 15, so that when filling the next empty bag 6 contamination of the bag bottom 6a can be excluded by a soiled vibrating plate 4.
  • the cover flap 5 is pivoted from the covering position 8 in the direction of the arrow 17 in the filling position 7.
  • the present on the top 20 of the cover 5 particles 10 are dropped.
  • the next filling process is started.
  • a third discharge position can be taken, in which the present on the surface of the cover particles 10 can be dropped very well before then the filling position 7 is taken.
  • the cover 5 may also be designed as other protective flap.
  • the cover can also be designed movable blind.
  • a movable element with a foil or fabric cover can be used as covering.
