Diese Gitterelemente sind zueinander verschiebbar und aneinander befestigt, so dass das erste, an der Schiebebühne befestigte Gitterelement die weiteren Gitterelemente hinter sich her zieht. Damit das letzte Gitterelement an seinem Platz bleibt, kann anstatt der Trennwand 5 aus der ersten Ausführungsform eine Bodenverankerung 11 als Halteeinrichtung gewählt werden. Figur 3b zeigt die zweite Ausführungsform der Erfindung in der zweiten Stellung, d.h. der Stellung, in der die Beladeseite nicht durch die Schutzvorrichtung gesichert ist. Um einen geeigneten Klemmschutz für die Schutzvorrichtung gemäß dieser Ausführungsform vorsehen zu können, kann z.B. eine Klemmfeder 13 verwendet werden, wie sie in Figur 3c gezeigt ist. Das erste Gitterelement 15, das an der Schiebebühne befestigt ist, ist lediglich in der Klemmfeder befestigt, die in eine Schiene mündet. Wirkt eine Kraft F, wie in Figur 3a dargestellt, gegen das erste Gitterelement, so springt eine Verankerung des ersten Gitterelements von dem in Figur 3c runden Befestigungsteil der Feder in eine an der Schiebebühne 2 befestigten Schiene. Sollte sich eine Person zwischen Rollenständer und Schiebebühne aufhalten, so wird sie somit nicht von dem Gitterelement 15 eingeklemmt. Auch in dieser Ausführungsform ist ein Klemmschutz 13, wie in Figur 3c gezeigt, vorgesehen. Claims (12)

  1. A roll changer (1) for a printing machine having a roll stand (10), which receives rolls that are to be processed, and a sliding platform (2), which feeds the rolls that are to be processed from a loading side (12) to the roll stand (10),

    a protection device (3), which is secured to the sliding platform (2) and a holding arrangement (5, 11) and has a variable surface extent, is arranged on the loading side (12) to safeguard an area between the holding arrangement (5, 11) and the sliding platform.
  2. A roll changer (1) for a printing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that the protection device (3) is provided on both sides of the sliding platform (2) and/or above the sliding platform (2).
  3. A roll changer (1) for a printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the protection device (3) is formed in such a way that it provides protection from broken pieces of a bursting paper-roll core.

  9. A roll changer (1) for a printing machine according to claim 7 or 8, characterised in that a plurality of runner rails (4) are connected to form a frame (14), with the runner rails (4) being connected by means of spring-mounted clips (8).
  10. A roll changer (1) for a printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the protection device (3) with a variable surface extension is an arrester net and in particular an arrester net made from plastics material.
