Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the probe (2) comprises, above where the metal rod (7) is crimped to the tube (5), a peripheral groove (14) that forms an internal stop that retains the safety device (15) that consists of a shape-memory alloy spring inside the tube (5) and between the latter and the metal rod (7).

Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the probe (2) comprises a cylindrical spacer piece (16) which is positioned between the tube (5) and the metal rod (7) and one of the ends of which bears against the spring (15) while the other end bears against the slider (17) made of insulating material.

Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the slider (17) has at its middle a boss (18) which, on its external face, has a toothed profile (19) intended to collaborate with an elastic clip (20) secured to the base (3) so as to produce the temporary-retention device that temporarily retains said slider.
  5. Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the slider (41) comprises a horizontal wing (43) secured to a boss (18) which on its external face has a toothed profile (19) intended to engage with an elastic clip (20) secured to the base (3) so as to produce the temporary-retention device that temporarily retains the said slider.
  6. Probe-type thermostat according to either one of Claims 4 and 5, characterized in that the toothed profile (19) of the boss (18) has a lower surface (45) which is inclined by an angle α of between 25 and 35 degrees with respect to a vertical axis xx'.
  7. Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the retaining device is, on the one hand, in contact with at least one of the safety breaker switches (29, 30) and, on the other hand, connected with the safety device (15).
  8. Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the slider (17) has, extending from its middle and in diametrically opposite directions, two wings (22, 23) each secured to a pusher (24, 25) extending vertically in planes parallel to the one containing the axis of movement of the slider (17) and, near the pusher (25), a reset finger (26) directed vertically toward the outside of the housing (13).
  9. Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the safety device consists of a shape-memory allow spring (15) positioned in a housing (40) formed in the base (3) underneath the elastic blade (27) of the safety breaker switch (29), the said housing (40) lying in immediate proximity to the probe (2) so that the safety device (15) monitors the change in water temperature with a minimal thermal gradient.
  10. Probe-type thermostat according to Claim 1, characterized in that the slider (41) comprises, in the continuation of the spring (15), a pusher (42) which comes into contact with the elastic blade (27) of the breaker switch (29), the said slider (41) being secured to a wing (43) extending horizontally and at its free end having a second pusher (44) directed vertically so as to engage with a reset device (50).
