Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a fastening device for fastening an article to a mast, wherein the fastening device comprises a rear wall and a front wall, which are interconnected by side walls and which include an interior.
  • Fasteners are also used to attach radar or similar devices to the monitoring and / or registration of road users or traffic flows on existing street signs, traffic lights or lanterns. Such devices are usually housed in boxes that are attached by means of a matched to the respective diameter of the mast C-profile.
  • a fastening device of a general kind is for example in the WO 01/36761 described.
  • An angle member is provided for connecting two components with numerous openings through which fasteners, such as screws or screw heads can extend.
  • the two mutually offset surfaces can each be connected to one component.
  • a disadvantage of the above fastening devices is in particular that the attachment is time consuming and difficult. Also, the fasteners must be matched to the object and the mast in terms of diameter and profile. Finally, it is also disadvantageous that the fastened objects are not protected against theft, since the fasteners necessary to be fastened (such as screws) can be solved by anyone with the appropriate tool.
  • the EP 0528 388 A1 discloses a holder for a theft-proof attachment of a license plate.
  • an anti-theft device is achieved in that the key width of the head of the fasteners is far over-dimensioned.
  • large-scale fasteners with which the holder is connected to the mounting surface after the assembly of the sign plate no longer accessible, so that the sign plate must be destroyed over a large area if it is to be separated from the mounting surface.
  • the security against theft of the sign plate is thereby significantly improved and actually guaranteed in the first place that two-sided locking members are provided, which can not be disengaged by unilateral pressure and bending forces, as they occur in theft attempts.
  • this solution is suitable for license plate, but it is not suitable for attachment of an object to a mast.
  • the structure is complicated by the locking members, the large width across the head of the fasteners requires adapted tool during assembly.
  • a kind of frame that surrounds the street sign is firmly closed and has a solid back wall, which is connectable to a mast on.
  • the frame has a safeguard against unauthorized opening in the form of pin connections, which can only be opened with a special tool.
  • a new road sign is attached to an already existing on-site old road sign with the help of the frame by the frame surrounding both street signs, the old and the new.
  • special tool for closing the frame is needed.
  • the frame is only suitable for very flat objects, such as street signs.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a fastening device which is quick and easy to install on an elongated mast. It should be suitable for securing various objects, in particular boxes and inexpensive to produce. Furthermore, the fastening device should secure the object to be fastened against theft.
  • the fastening device is therefore formed by a base body which is fastened with its rear wall to a mast.
  • the main body has an internal space which, when the fastening device is attached to the mast and the object to be fastened is attached to the fastening device, encloses all releasable mast fastening means. Unlike known Fastening devices are thus not accessible without removing the object, which can largely prevent unauthorized loosening or theft of the article the mast fastening means.
  • the fastening device can be attached to the mast, for example, with a clamp or with a band, wherein the clamp or band surrounds the mast and tightened or tensioned between the rear wall and the front wall, ie in the interior of the fastening device, a corresponding device, such as a set screw can be.
  • the front wall has mounting holes through which the rear wall associated mast fastening means and their opening mechanisms are accessible. The object to be fastened closes these mounting openings when it is attached to the fastening device.
  • the fastening device has keyhole-shaped receiving openings in its front wall, into which the mushroom-shaped fastening means of the object to be fastened can be inserted and suspended.
  • These Keyhole-shaped receiving openings have a circular area, which merges into an elongated area with a smaller diameter.
  • these receiving openings are illustratively referred to as keyholes.
  • the corresponding fasteners are designed in a pin shape and have a mushroom-shaped head on one of its free ends of a shaft. The mushroom head has a smaller diameter than the circular area but a larger than the elongated area.
  • the mushroom-shaped attachment means can be inserted through the circular area and the stem adjoining the mushroom head into the narrower area of the keyhole hole.
  • a bolt is provided on an inner side of the front wall, which allows in a first position insertion of the fastening means in the circular area, but in a Verrieglungsposition prevents returning the fastener from the elongated area in the circular area. It may also be provided a lock which holds the latch in its locking position and which can only be opened with an additional key or code.
  • the bolt is advantageously designed such that it is displaceable along the inside of the front wall and protrudes laterally beyond the base body via one of the side walls. In the projecting area of the bolt, a commercially available padlock can be hung.
  • the bolt further has an opening for each keyhole which has the same diameter as the circular area of the keyhole.
  • This opening is in the first position of the bolt with the circular portion of the keyhole in coverage.
  • the latch opening is furthermore open from an underside facing the elongate area, so that the shaft of the mushroom-shaped attachment means can be introduced through this opening from below into the latch opening. Now, if the bolt is displaced laterally, the latch opening is no longer in coincidence with the circular area, so that a fastening means, the is in the elongated area, can not be inserted from below into the latch opening. The held in the keyhole fastening device is secured.
  • the shaft of the mushroom-shaped fastening means is adapted to the corresponding keyhole such that the mushroom head can not be brought between the bolt and the rear wall of the fastening device.
  • the mushroom head when the mushroom head is guided from the oblong area into the circular area, it pushes against the inside of the latch opening. This in turn causes a lead out or - take the mushroom-shaped fastener is very fast and easy to carry out. If the bolt were not present, it may happen that the mushroom head partially moves behind the front wall during removal in the region of the circular area and makes it difficult to lead out. The fact that this is prevented by the bolt, the object which is mounted in the keyholes, by a quick and easy movement, first up to the stop and then removed directly from the fastening device.
  • the fastening device according to the invention can first be attached to the mast without the object to be fastened. This facilitates the assembly considerably, since the fastening device can be more easily held and positioned without the added weight of the article. Only when the fastening device is sufficiently secured, the object to be fastened is suspended via the keyholes in the front wall of the fastening device.
  • a significant advantage of the fastening device according to the invention is also that it can remain on the mast, while the object to be fastened can be quickly and easily removed or replaced.
  • the fastening device thus has a kind of adapter function. Accordingly, a plurality of receiving openings may be provided to fasteners of different objects to be able to record with different distances to each other.
  • an additional adapter platform can be provided, which can be suspended in the predetermined keyholes of the front wall and has additional additional keyholes at different distances from each other. This in turn allows already manufactured objects with already predetermined distances of the fastening means are easily suspended in the fastening device according to the invention.
  • the fastening device on its rear wall at least one, preferably two V-shaped projections.
  • the mast comes within the V, so on the inner thighs that form the V, to the plant. Depending on the diameter of the usually circular mast, this comes to rest at another location.
  • the two V-shaped projections are spaced as far as possible from each other to allow a possible play or wobble-free system on the mast.
  • the rear wall of the fastening device may further comprise slots, through each of which a clamp or a band can be passed.
  • a plurality of slots are provided so that, depending on the diameter of the mast, the largest possible wrap around the outer diameter of the mast is ensured.
  • a significant advantage of these slots is also that the bands or clamps are held in these and thus the assembly on the mast can be performed by only one person. The clamps or bands will not fall off. Through the mounting openings in the front wall, the reaching into the interior ends of the clamps or bands can be tightened or braced with one hand, while the fastening device is held even with the other hand.
  • the fastening device can be made of any suitable material, in particular metals and plastics are suitable.
  • the fastening device is made of a galvanized sheet metal. Only an Austanzen and folding is necessary, welding can be dispensed with.
  • the fastening device itself can also be protected against theft by an additionally usable plate in the region of the rear wall, if no object or case is attached to this.
  • This plate is inserted into the interior and conceals the mounting holes by investing on the inside of the front wall and can also be secured from the outside by means of a lock.
  • the fastening device 20 has a base body 22 with a front wall 24 and a rear wall 26.
  • the front wall 24 and the rear wall 26 are connected to each other via side walls 28 and include an interior space 30.
  • the front wall 24 has four keyhole-shaped receiving openings 32 which are arranged in the four corner region of the front wall 24.
  • the receiving openings 32 have a circular portion 34 and an elongated portion 36, creating the impression of a keyhole.
  • mounting holes 38 are provided to reach through the front wall mast mounting means 40 can. Shown is also a recess 42, which can also be used for assembly purposes and also causes a reduction in the total weight.
  • a latch 44 can be seen (partially indicated by dashed lines) located in the interior 30 of the fastening device 30, directly adjacent to an inner side 46 of the front wall 24.
  • the bolt 44 pierces the opposite side walls 28 through corresponding openings and is thus accessible from the outside.
  • the latch 44 is displaceable parallel to the inside 46. Bar openings 48 are thereby to be brought into and out of registry with the circular areas 34 of the receiving openings 32. This causes a mushroom-shaped fastener 49 (see FIG. FIG. 5 ), which has a mushroom-shaped head 50 and a shaft 52, is held captive in the elongated portion 36 of the receiving opening 36. If the latch 44 is displaced out of this locking position such that the latch openings 48 coincide with the circular areas 34, the fastening means 54 can be pulled out of the elongated areas 36 through the circular areas 34 by lifting.
  • the latch 44 can be secured in the locked position by a padlock 54 or similar securing means against unauthorized opening.
  • FIG. 2 shows the rear wall 24 of the fastening device 20.
  • This has openings 56 for mast fastening means 40.
  • slits 58 are provided into which also mast fastening means 40, for example, bands or clamps, are insertable.
  • the opening means or mechanisms (for example screws) of the mast fastening means 40 or their are accessible only through the mounting holes 38 of the front wall 24.
  • a plurality of slots 58 are provided to allow optimum adaptation to masts 62 with different diameters.
  • the fastening device 20 in a particularly advantageous embodiment, two projections 64, the inner leg 66 together form a V.
  • This V causes masts 62 with different diameters always come at least in two places to the plant.
  • projections 64 are provided both in the upper and in the lower region of the fastening device 20.
  • FIG. 4 shows how an object 60, in the embodiment shown a box, on a mast 62 by means of the fastening device 20 can be fastened.
  • the fastening device 20 is brought with its rear wall 26 against the mast 62 and fastened by means of mast fastening means 40.
  • the article 60 has mushroom-shaped attachment means 49 which are inserted into the receiving openings 32 of the front wall 24.
