Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum dreiseitigen Beschnitt von Produkten, insbesondere Broschuren gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a device for three-sided trimming of products, in particular brochures according to the preamble of claim 1.
Bei der Herstellung von Broschuren werden an Sammelheftern die zusammengetragenen und gehefteten Produkte in einer Vorrichtung zum dreiseitigen Beschnitt, etwa einem Trimmer geschnitten. Dies erfolgt in den Schneidstationen für den Vorderschnitt und den Kopfbeschnitt bzw. Fußbeschnitt durch ein bewegtes Obermesser gegen ein feststehendes Untermesser. Der Beschnitt der Broschur stellt dabei einen besonders wichtigen Schritt dar, da hierdurch die Falzbogen seitlich geöffnet werden und das äußere Erscheinungsbild der Broschur maßgeblich beeinflusst wird. Dazu ist es wichtig, dass die Broschuren positionsgenau geschnitten werden. Daher wird vor dem Schnitt das Produkt gegen Vorderkantenanschläge transportiert und seitlich ausgerichtet, um die Abschnittsbreite für den Kopfbeschnitt bzw. Fußbeschnitt exakt einzustellen. Vor dem Schnittbeginn wird das Produkt durch federbelastete Niederhalter (Pressbalken) gegen das Untermesser gepresst, um eine saubere Schnittfläche zu erhalten. Die Pressbalken sind an der Obermesserbrücke befestigt und zur Schneide des Obermessers so angeordnet, dass sie das Produkt vor dem Eintauchen der Schneide pressen. Dies lässt sich insbesondere derart erreichen, indem dem Mittel zum Beenden des Pressens der Presseinrichtung den Pressbalken zu diesem Zeitpunkt in seiner Position zur Obermesserbrücke fixiert und diese Fixierung erst im oberen Umkehrpunkt oder in der Abwärtsbewegung der Obermesserbrücke wieder aufgehoben wird. Dadurch kann die insgesamt für den dreiseitigen Beschnitt des Produkts zur Verfügung stehende Zeit besser genutzt werden.
