Definitions
- the invention relates to a tamper-evident closure for containers with a threaded neck with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
- Tamper-evident closures according to this basic configuration are used in a wide variety of applications, such as medicine vials or beverage bottles. By taking place at the first opening of the closure caps separating the tamper evident ring from the cap is visualized after reclosing that the container was already open at least once.
- Another problem is the simple operability of the tamper-evident closure. This is often affected by the fact that the rupture webs do not tear off completely when first opened, so that upon further screwing the tamper-evident ring is deformed and partially pulled over the transfer ring shoulder. In order to avoid this, a correspondingly narrow design of the inner diameter of the tamper-evident ring produces an increased blocking effect on the transfer ring that is uniform over the circumference of the ring. This in turn leads to the problem that the tamper-evident ring can become stuck on the transferring ring shoulder when it is first opened. After resealing then sit cap and tamper-evident ring close together, so that practically no longer recognizable that the container has already been opened once. In that regard, then the reliability of the originality detection is severely impaired.
- the invention has for its object to improve a tamper-evident closure of the generic type so that the initially mentioned problem of braking torque on the tamper-evident ring and the associated risk of zemet the rupture webs is verworfen.
- an additional entrainment means is provided between the closure cap and the tamper-evident ring which serves to assist the transmission of torque between the closure cap and tamper-evident ring when it is slid over the transferring shoulder during initial sealing. While in tamper-evident closures according to the prior art, such as the above WO 2004/048220 A1 The Breinsmoment exerted on the tamper evident ring when sliding over the transfer ring shoulder during Warverabss must be completely absorbed by the fragile break webs takes over the subject invention, this function essentially the entrainment device.
- the configuration of the entrainment device in the form of an undercut in the end edge of the closure cap and a hook projection engaging the end edge of the tamper-evident ring not only ensures highly effective torque transmission, but at the same time a locking of the closure cap and tamper-evident ring in the axial direction relative to one another during the screwing process for the teat Tileverides. This prevents the risk associated with the prior art that the breaker webs are broken open by the over-snap of the originality ring over the transferring ring shoulder and the axial forces exerted thereby on the ring even before the first opening.
- the claims 5 and 6 indicate a form-technically simple realization of the Abstreifvorsprunges and the associated recess in the opposite end edge of the tamper-evident ring. This can be done by a wavy course of the parting line between cap and tamper evident ring.
- the measure specified in claim 7 ensures that the stripping projection always comes into contact with the tamper-evident ring before reclosure, the elements of the entrainment, ie in particular the hook projection on the tamper evident ring in the undercut of the cap can engage. This would be tamper-evident ring and cap pulled together and give the impression that the tamper-evident closure is still intact.
- the invention finally also relates to a container with a threaded neck and a tamper-evident closure according to the invention, as discussed above (claim 9).
- the tamper-evident closure shown serves to close a container, which is only partially shown with its threaded neck 1, for example in the form of a medicine bottle made of brown glass.
- the threaded neck 1 has at its upper end an external thread 2 ( Fig. 2 ), to which a horizontally encircling transferring ring shoulder 3 ( Fig. 4 ) follows. This has on the side of the external thread 2 a flat rising edge 4, to which on the side facing away from the external thread 2 a steep step 5 follows.
- a cap 6 On the threaded neck 1 is a cap 6 can be screwed, which has a substantially cylindrical side wall 7 with gripping grooves 8 and a top wall 9. As is not apparent, but is usually designed so, the cap 6 on its inner side sealing ring elements which engage in the threaded neck 1 and ensure a tight closure of the container.
- a tamper-evident ring 12 At the end edge 10 of the cap 6 is integrally connected via filigree fracture ribs 11 a tamper-evident ring 12, whose inner diameter is slightly smaller than the maximum outer diameter of the transfer ring shoulder 3.
- Four such breaker webs 11 are distributed uniformly over the circumference of the closure cap 6 and the tamper-evident ring 12. They bridge the parting line 13 between these two elements substantially in the axial direction and are formed on the side of the cap 6 in a flat recess 14 on the cap 6.
- the course of the parting line 13 between two adjacent rupture webs 11 is designed so that, on the one hand, at the end edge 10 of the cap 6 down in the direction of the tamper-evident ring 12 protruding, nose-shaped trained Abstreifvorsprung 15 is formed, which comes to rest in another in a shape-responsive recess 16 in the opposite end edge 17 of the tamper-evident ring 12. Following this wave-shaped course of the parting line 13 for forming the Abstreifvorsprunges 15 and the recess 16 follows to the right on Fig.
- this entrainment device 18 has an undercut 19 in the end edge 10 of the closure cap 6 on the one hand and a hook projection 20 engaging therein on the front edge 17 of the tamper-evident ring 12 on the other hand.
- the cap 6 is screwed onto the threaded neck 1. From the moment at which the tamper-evident ring 12 runs from above onto the transferring ring shoulder 3 with corresponding inhibition, a braking torque directed counter to the screw-on moment is exerted on the tamper-evident ring 12. As a result, the hook projection 20 engages reinforced in the peripheral direction in the undercut 19 and hooks there, so that the break webs 11 only slightly deformed and no additional torque must be absorbed.
- the cap 6 can be overcome by the transferring from the shoulder 3 on the originality ring 12 exerted braking torque can be further screwed.
- the hook-shaped configuration of the entrainment device 18 not only a radial, but also a locking in the axial direction of the cap 6 and tamper-evident ring 12 is achieved to each other.
- the cap 6 When reclosing the container, the cap 6 is screwed onto the threaded neck 1.
- the Abstreifvorsprünge 15 strike against the tamper evident ring 12 and strip it from his in Fig. 3 shown clamping position on the transfer ring shoulder 3 downwards.
- the tamper-evident ring 12 drops down to the indicated container shoulder 21st
- the Abstreifvorsprünge 15 are each arranged in the closing direction of rotation S of the cap 6 of the driver 18 directly leading. If this were not the case, there would be the risk that the tamper evident ring 12 happens to be in such a rotational position that upon reclosure of the cap 6 of the wiper projection 15 at the end of Aufschraubvorgangs exactly in the recess 16 in the tamper evident ring 12 and the hook projection 20 exactly in the undercut 19 come in. This would prevent stripping of the tamper-evident ring 12 from the transferring ring shoulder 3.
- the wiper projection 15 would in each case push it downwards against the upwardly directed hook projection 20 of the tamper-evident ring 12, even if the tamper-evident ring 12 is resealed ( Fig. 3 ) exactly in the in Fig. 1 position would be.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tamper-evident closure for containers with a threaded neck with the features specified in the preamble of
Tamper-evident closures according to this basic configuration are used in a wide variety of applications, such as medicine vials or beverage bottles. By taking place at the first opening of the closure caps separating the tamper evident ring from the cap is visualized after reclosing that the container was already open at least once.
At such tamper-evident closures now a variety of demands are made. Thus, when first closing the container with the tamper-evident closure, which usually takes place mechanically in a filling system, it must be ensured that the connection of the tamper-evident closure to the cap is not already destroyed when the tamper-evident ring is pushed over the transferring ring shoulder on the threaded neck. The interpretation of the undersize of the inner diameter of the tamper evident ring relative to the outer diameter of the transfer ring shoulder must be chosen so that on the one hand during Erstverschließen during the sliding over the tamper evident ring on the transfer ring shoulder so much inhibition occurs that the associated brake torque on the tamper evident ring is so large that the Bridges to apply the ring to the caps here already destroyed. On the other hand, this interpretation must ensure sufficient blocking of the tamper evident ring in its position behind the transfer ring shoulder, thus at the first opening the tamper-evident closure a reliable separation of the tamper-evident ring of the cap takes place.
Another problem is the simple operability of the tamper-evident closure.
The problem with the above prior art is the very filigree design of the locking elements on the originality ring, which brings an extremely high effort in the creation of the mold for the tamper-evident closure. Furthermore, the counter-locking elements on the threaded neck container require a special container design, which brings with it additional effort.
The invention has for its object to improve a tamper-evident closure of the generic type so that the initially mentioned problem of braking torque on the tamper-evident ring and the associated risk of zestörung the rupture webs is verworfen.
The tightened with the narrower interpretation of the originality ring problem of clamping the tamper-evident ring on the transfer ring shoulder during initial opening is achieved by the Abstreltvorsprünge provided in accordance with
The
The measure specified in
The invention finally also relates to a container with a threaded neck and a tamper-evident closure according to the invention, as discussed above (claim 9).

On the threaded
The function of the tamper-evident closure will be explained in more detail below. During Erstverschließens the
