  • planks are cut by means of saw milling in several plank elements. Subsequently, the plank elements are provided on all four edges with a corresponding connection profile. Because plank floors are sold by area, this increases the material and manufacturing costs per area. This problem becomes all the more important, the higher the quality and thus the more expensive the starting materials. Production of planks with less material loss is therefore desirable for economic reasons.
