Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the production of plank elements with a connection profile from a plate, as well as a device for the production of plank elements according to the inventive method.
- planks are cut by means of saw milling in several plank elements. Subsequently, the plank elements are provided on all four edges with a corresponding connection profile. This is usually done by means of a profile cutter. The uncoiling of the plate and the milling of the connection profile leads to loss of material. In particular, the remaining usable surface is reduced. In a plank with an effective resulting width of 192 mm, for example, 13.2 mm are lost during production due to the loss of material during trimming and profile milling. With an original portion of a single board element on the board of 205.2 mm, this results in a useful surface area of 93.6%. Because plank floors are sold by area, this increases the material and manufacturing costs per area. This problem becomes all the more important, the higher the quality and thus the more expensive the starting materials. Production of planks with less material loss is therefore desirable for economic reasons.
- the object of the invention is to provide a method of the type mentioned above, which makes it possible to produce planks with connection profile with reduced material costs, or to produce more plank bottom surface with constant material costs.
- such an inventive method is compatible with existing production lines, and have a comparable efficiency.
- the principle of a method according to the invention is based on not sawing the plate into individual plank elements, but dividing it along a predetermined breaking point between two flutes.
- the two grooves are parallel and offset from each other on opposite sides of the plate.
- the separation of the plate can be done by various methods, in particular by breaking or splitting. From the resulting stepped edge profile then the final connection profile is then milled out.
- the loss of material occurring in such a method according to the invention is substantially lower than in the method according to the prior art, because when the plate is split into the individual plank elements, a substantially smaller loss of material occurs.
- FIG 1. shows a cross-section through a plate 1, the arrangement of the Sgefräsenblatts 5, with which the plank elements 2, 2 'are separated.
- the material volume of the plate 1 is lost at the location of the milling blade 5.
- the opposing first and second connection profiles 6, 7 are then milled out by means of a correspondingly designed profile milling machine. Again, material 8 is lost.
- Figure 2 illustrates the arrangement of the individual plank elements 2 on a plate 1.
- Such plates are made depending on the desired property of fiberboard of different qualities, usually HDF (high-density Fibreboard).
- the carrier material may also be real wood.
- the total thickness of a plate is usually 6 - 9 mm.
- a possible plate size is for example 2050 mm X 2620 mm.
- the plate is sawn in two halves along a cross-sectional axis 13. This facilitates the setting up of the plates for cooling after the pressing of the various layers.
- the plate 1 is then often aligned exactly by means of a scanner line mounted parallel to the surface structure, so that the parallel axes 3 are oriented parallel to a possibly visible surface structure of the plate, so that the plank elements 2 have continuous structure lines after a later assembly. Now the plate 1 is sawn along the parallel axes 3 in plank elements 2 of equal width. These are turned so that the surface 4 visible later as the floor comes to lie down, and the connecting profiles are milled out.
- FIG. 3 illustrates the loss of usable surface 4 in the case of plank elements 2 produced according to the prior art.
- the original proportion of a plank element 2 on the plate 1 is designated by a.
- the volume of material 8 ' is lost.
- material 8 is lost, which corresponds to a further reduction of the surface by 11 mm.
- FIGS. 4 and 4a A possible embodiment of a method according to the invention for producing plank elements with a connection profile will now be explained schematically in FIGS. 4 and 4a.
- a first groove 16 is milled into the later surface 4 serving as a floor by means of a saw cutter 5 with an oblique cutting profile 12.
- the cutting profile 12, 12 ' may also be straight.
- the grooves 16, 17 can also be milled with slot milling instead of saw milling.
- the plate 1, or the already separate plank elements 2 also be further separated transversely to the parallel axes 3 with a method according to the invention.
- the achievable material gain is low.
- the material gain is also significant for square plank elements.
- FIG. 5 shows further possible variants, which by no means represent a conclusive list. All variants shown can be manufactured with both saw and groove milling machines.
- the grooves 16, 17 on the left in FIG. 5 are arranged very close to one another.
- the remaining breaking point 11 is very narrow, and easy to separate.
- the grooves 16, 17 in the middle of Figure 5 are arranged analogously to Figures 4 and 4a, but with a horizontal section profile. In the grooves 16, 17 right in Figure 5, the shortest connection between the two grooves 16, 17 is oriented perpendicular to the plane of the plate.
- the predetermined breaking point 11 thus extends approximately vertically.
- the most optimal arrangement and design of the first 16 and second 17 groove is mainly dependent on the Druckfräsenden in a next step edge profile. Another important point is the material properties of the plate material, such as the stratification of the fibers. Furthermore, it must always be ensured that the predetermined breaking point is clearly and unambiguously defined.
- Figure 6 shows schematically a possible design of a part of an inventive device for milling the first and second grooves 16, 17 from the plate 1 in a single parallel operation.
- One of the number of parallel cutting axes 3 entprechende number cutting milling 5 are arranged above the plate 1 with an identical distance among each other across the width of the plate 1, and mill the first grooves of a first surface 4.
- An equal number of milling 5 ' is analogous below the plate 1 arranged to the second grooves mill out.
- the individual milling can be arranged in a line or offset.
- An analog device according to the invention can also be realized with slot milling, that is to say with rapidly rotating milling heads, with a rotation axis perpendicular to the plane of the plate.
- Figure 7 shows schematically a possible design of another part of a device according to the invention, for separating the plank elements 2, 2 'from the plate 1 by breaking.
- the plate 1 After milling the first and second grooves 16, 17, the plate 1 is moved stepwise or continuously perpendicular to the parallel axis 3 via a base 18, whereby the outer plank element 2 no longer alslliegt on the pad 18.
- suitable means for example by rollers or actuators, a force 19 is now applied perpendicular to the plate 1 on the outer floor element 2, whereby the plank element 2 breaks off along the predetermined breaking point 11. It can now be supplied for further processing, usually the milling of the Verbindunsgprofils.
- FIG. 8 schematically shows a further possible design of a part of a device according to the invention for separating the plank elements 2, 2 'from the plate 1 by breaking.
- Figure 9 shows schematically a possible design of another part of an inventive device for separating the plank elements 2, 2 'of the plate 1 by columns.
- a gap element 20 is guided in the plank longitudinal direction along each predetermined breaking point 11.
- the gap element 20 can be realized, for example, as a wedge or as a blade.
- the gap element 20 is supported by two holding elements 21, 21 ', which are arranged in the first groove 16 and the second groove 17.
- One of the two holding elements 21, 21 can also be omitted.
- FIG. 10 schematically shows a further possible design of a part of a device according to the invention for separating the plank elements 2, 2 'from the plate 1 by gaps.
- a gap element 20 is likewise guided in the longitudinal direction along each predetermined breaking point 11.
- the gap elements 20 are in the form of an angle, for example made of spring steel, mounted on a support plate 23.
- the holding member 21 forming part of the angle perpendicular to the plate plane extends in the second groove 17th
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for the production of plank elements with a connection profile from a plate, as well as a device for the production of plank elements according to the inventive method.
For the creation of decorative and high-quality floors there are various possibilities, in particular laminate floors, parquet floors, linoleum floors, real wood floors and cork floors. Such soils are usually produced and sold in the form of individual plank elements, and then laid flush on a suitably prepared substrate.
Classic plank flooring, in which the plank elements are glued, are increasingly being replaced by plank elements with a reversible tongue and groove system. Such plank elements can be positively and non-positively connected by means of correspondingly shaped connection profiles. Because no glue is needed, such floors can even be laid reversibly and, for example, when moving get picked up. A very common tongue and groove system is for example the so-called Uniclic ® system Unilin Decor, Belgium.
In the conventional manufacturing process, a plate is cut by means of saw milling in several plank elements.
The object of the invention is to provide a method of the type mentioned above, which makes it possible to produce planks with connection profile with reduced material costs, or to produce more plank bottom surface with constant material costs.
In addition, such an inventive method is compatible with existing production lines, and have a comparable efficiency.
These and other objects are achieved by a method according to the invention and a device according to the invention, according to the independent claims. Further preferred embodiments are given in the dependent claims.
The principle of a method according to the invention is based on not sawing the plate into individual plank elements, but dividing it along a predetermined breaking point between two flutes. The two grooves are parallel and offset from each other on opposite sides of the plate. The separation of the plate can be done by various methods, in particular by breaking or splitting. From the resulting stepped edge profile then the final connection profile is then milled out. The loss of material occurring in such a method according to the invention is substantially lower than in the method according to the prior art, because when the plate is split into the individual plank elements, a substantially smaller loss of material occurs.

Dabei geht wiederum Material 8 verloren. The manufacturing method according to the prior art is illustrated with reference to FIG 1. This shows a cross-section through a
Figure 2 illustrates the arrangement of the

When sawing, the volume of material 8 'is lost. In a common production plant with saw mill blades of 2.2 mm thickness, this results in 2.2 mm surface width being lost per board element to be produced.
During the subsequent milling out of the connection profiles 6, 7, in turn, material 8 is lost, which corresponds to a further reduction of the surface by 11 mm. As already explained above, this results in an original proportion of a
With narrower plank elements, the loss is correspondingly greater. In the case of an analogously produced plank element with a final width of b = 100 mm, for example, the loss of usable surface is even 11.7%.
These values are based on a concrete example from the industry, and of course can vary within a certain range.
A possible embodiment of a method according to the invention for producing plank elements with a connection profile will now be explained schematically in FIGS. 4 and 4a.
Instead of simply sawing the

In tests with planks with commercial properties, it was found that a predetermined breaking point of a width of 6 - 7 mm can still be easily broken. On the other hand, when the predetermined breaking point is split, the possible width is primarily limited by the achievable stability and precision of the splitting device, and substantially greater than when breaking the predetermined breaking point.
In tests, a surface loss of still c = 8 mm was achieved. With a constant a = 205.2 mm, this results in an effective surface width of the
At a = 113.2 mm, which according to the state of the art corresponds to an effective board width of b = 100 mm, the new achievable effective board width b = 105.2 mm. The relative loss is still 7.1% instead of 11.3%, which would correspond to an additional area of 19 million square meters of laminate flooring.
Analogous to the separation of the plank elements in the longitudinal direction, the
The embodiment of the first 16 and second 17 slots shown in FIGS. 4 and 4a is only one possible example. FIG. 5 shows further possible variants, which by no means represent a conclusive list. All variants shown can be manufactured with both saw and groove milling machines. The
The most optimal arrangement and design of the first 16 and second 17 groove is mainly dependent on the auszufräsenden in a next step edge profile. Another important point is the material properties of the plate material, such as the stratification of the fibers. Furthermore, it must always be ensured that the predetermined breaking point is clearly and unambiguously defined.
Figure 6 shows schematically a possible design of a part of an inventive device for milling the first and
Figure 7 shows schematically a possible design of another part of a device according to the invention, for separating the
