Definitions
- the invention relates to new uses of the cyclic acetal 2- (1,1,4-trimethylpent-S-eny ⁇ y-dihydro-l ⁇ -dioxepin and mixtures containing this compound.
- fragrances Compounds from the substance class of acetals have been described in great numbers and often have a pleasant odor, so that they are also used as fragrances, among other things.
- 3,936,398 describes the 2- (3-methylbut-1) -2-methyl-4,7-dihydro-1,3-dioxepin (Ambersage) a fresh floral fragrance with linalool and coriander character.
- Ambersage a fresh floral fragrance with linalool and coriander character.
- the use for the perfuming of soaps and detergents is also mentioned for this dioxepin.
- Fragrance mixtures with a particularly fresh-green top note are frequently sought, especially for the perfuming of formulations containing surfactants, such as for shampoos, detergents or fabric softeners, while at the same time having a pronounced blooming (smell from an aqueous surfactant solution).
- Another important application-related requirement for fragrance mixtures for surfactant-containing products is their substantivity towards or retention on the substrate, in particular hair or textile fibers. The meaning of substantivity and retention is e.g. detailed in EP 1 201 738 A1, cf. there the sections [0004] - [0005]. Fragrance substances with high substantivity and / or retention are therefore also generally sought.
- a first aspect of the present invention which is closely related to the aforementioned general objects, relates to the use of 2- (1.1 l 4-trimethylpent-3-enyl) -4,7-dihydro-1,3-dioxepin as Agent for providing (a) hair or (b) textile fibers with a fresh fragrance.
- a further aspect of the invention relates to the use of 2- (1 J 1,4-trimethylpent-3-enyl) -4,7-dihydro-1 J 3-dioxepin as an agent for increasing the substantivity and / or retention of a Fragrance mixture (opposite or on hair or textile fibers).
- 2- (1 J 1,4-trimethylpent-3-enyl) -4,7-dihydro-1,3-dioxepin By adding 2- (1 J 1,4-trimethylpent-3-enyl) -4,7-dihydro-1,3-dioxepin to a given fragrance mixture with only little substantivity and / or retention, these properties are improved in a particularly advantageous manner.
- a freshly scented wash solution (or a corresponding detergent or shampoo or the like) that is not suitable for passing on a fresh smell to laundry (textile fibers) or hair (or a corresponding detergent or shampoo or the like) can be added by adding 2- ( Transfer 1,1,4-trimethylpent-3-enyl) - 4,7-dihydro-1 ] 3-dioxepin into a solution that excellently transmits a fresh smell - and the fresh smell adheres to the treated substrates (hair or textile fibers) long on.
- a corresponding method according to the invention for providing (a) hair or (b) textile fibers with a fresh fragrance comprises the following steps: providing a 2- (1, 1 ⁇ -trimethylpent-S-eny ⁇ y-dihydro-l, 3- mixture containing dioxepin, - application of the mixture to the hair or the textile fibers.
- a solution according to the invention which is particularly suitable for the uses according to the invention or the corresponding processes comprises: (a) water, (b) 2- (1,1,4-trimethylpent-3-enyl) -4,7-dihydro-1,3- dioxepin and (c) one or more surfactants, the concentration of 2- (1 J 1,4-trimethylpent- 3-enyl) -4,7-dihydro-1,3-dioxepine in the solution is in the range of 10 "7 -10 " 1 % by weight.

- the Perfuming acidic
- alkaline and neutral cleaning agents such as powder and foam
- the perfume oils containing the acetal to be used according to the invention can be used in liquid form, undiluted or diluted with a solvent for perfuming.
- Suitable solvents for this are, for example, ethanol, isopropanol, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, glycerol, Propylene glycol, 1,2-butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, diethyl phthalate, triethyl citrate, isopropyl myristate etc.
- the perfume oils containing the acetal to be used according to the invention can be adsorbed on a carrier which ensures both a fine distribution of the fragrance substances in the product and a controlled release during use.
- a carrier which ensures both a fine distribution of the fragrance substances in the product and a controlled release during use.
- Such carriers can be porous inorganic materials such as light sulfate, silica gels, zeolites, gypsum, clays, clay granules, gas concrete etc. or organic materials such as woods and cellulose-based substances.
- perfume oils containing the acetal to be used according to the invention can also be microencapsulated, spray-dried, present as inclusion complexes or as extrusion products and can be added in this form to the product to be perfumed.
- the properties of the perfume oils modified in this way can be further optimized by so-called “coating” with suitable materials with a view to a more targeted fragrance release, for which purpose wax-like plastics such as polyvinyl alcohol are preferably used.
- the microencapsulation of the perfume oils can take place, for example, by means of the so-called coacervation process with the aid of capsule materials, for example made of polyurethane-like substances or soft gelatin.

Abstract
Description
Ethanol, Isopropanol, Diethylenglycolmonoethylether, Glycerin,
Propylenglycol, 1 ,2-Butylenglycol, Dipropylenglycol, Diethylphthalat, Triethyl- citrat, Isopropylmyristat usw.

Betaine (insbesondere die oben genannten, also z.B.
