Claims (14)

  1. Procédé pour fabriquer un article fini ou semi-fini en alliage d'argent, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes de :
    fourniture d'un alliage d'argent contenant de l'argent dans une quantité d'au moins 77 % en poids, du cuivre et une quantité de germanium qui est d'au moins 0,5 % en poids et est efficace pour réduire le ternissement et/ou l'oxydation ;
    fabrication ou transformation de l'article fini ou semi-fini à partir de l'alliage par chauffage jusqu'à au moins une température de recuit ;
    refroidissement progressif de l'article, sans étape de refroidissement brusque, de sorte qu'un refroidissement jusqu'à la température ambiante prend plus de 10 secondes ; et
    réchauffage de l'article pour effectuer un durcissement par précipitation de celui-ci.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'article est un alliage ternaire d'argent, de cuivre et de germanium.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'article est un alliage ternaire qui se compose, en dehors des impuretés, de 92,5 à 98 % en poids d'argent, de 0,5 à 3 % en poids de germanium, et de 1 à 7,2 % en poids de cuivre conjointement avec 1 à 40 ppm de bore en tant qu'affineur de grain.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'article est un alliage ternaire de 92,5 à 92,7 % en poids d'Ag, de 6,1 à 6,3 % en poids de Cu, d'environ 1,2 % en poids de Ge et de 1 à 15 ppm de bore en tant qu'affineur de grain.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'article est un alliage quaternaire d'argent, de cuivre, de zinc et de germanium, contenant au moins 0,5 % en poids de Cu et contenant du zinc dans un rapport, en poids, au cuivre de pas plus de 1:1.
  6. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le recuit a lieu pendant le brasage de l'article dans un four, et un refroidissement à l'air ultérieur.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel l'alliage est recuit ou brasé par chauffage dans un four à une température de 600 à 680°C.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel l'alliage est recuit ou brasé par chauffage dans un four à une température de 600 à 660°C.
  9. Procédé selon la revendication 6, 7 ou 8, dans lequel l'alliage est brasé en utilisant une brasure qui comprend (a) 56 % d'argent, 22 % de cuivre, 17 % de zinc et 5 % d'étain ou (b) 58 % en poids d'Ag, 2 % en poids de Ge, 2,5 % en poids de Sn, 14,5 % en poids de Zn, 0,1 % en poids de Si, 0,14 % en poids de B, et le reste de Cu.
  10. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 6 à 9, dans lequel le recuit et/ou le brasage est réalisé à une température de 600 à 650°C.

  14. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendication 1 à 12, dans lequel le réchauffage est à une température de 200 à 300°C.
