Claims (36)

  1. A packaging and applicator device for applying a composition to a surface, such as skin, lips or nails, the device comprising:
    · a receptacle containing the composition; and
    · an applicator for applying a composition to a surface, such as skin, lips or nails, comprising at least one applicator endpiece (6) comprising at least a body (9) made of non-porous material the body comprising:
    · a proximal first portion (10);
    · a distal second portion (20) connected to the first portion (10) and comprising at least one application face (22); and
    · at least one hinge-forming thin zone (26) between the first portion and the second portion, enabling the second portion to pivot relative to the first portion while the application face is pressing against the surface, the applicator being loaded with composition by being plunged in the receptacle and the receptacle comprising a wiper member for wiping the applicator, the wiper member comprising a wiping orifice
  2. An applicator according to the preceding,claim, in which the body comprises at least one recess (25) forming the thin zone (26).
  3. An applicator according to anyone of the two preceding claims, in which the body comprises two recesses (25).
  4. An applicator according to the preceding claim, wherein the two recesses (25) are situated on a same side of the body (9).
  5. An applicator according to claim 3, wherein the two recesses (25) are situated on two opposite sides of the body (9).
  6. An applicator according to anyone of claims 3 to 5, in which the two recesses (25) together define a single hinge-forming thin zone.
  7. An applicator according to anyone of claims 3 to 5, in which each of the two recesses (25) each define a respective hinge-forming thin zone.
  8. An applicator according to anyone of claims 2 to 7, wherein at least one recess (25) opens out to two opposite lateral sides of the body (9).
  9. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which at least one of the first (10) and second (20) portions has a cross-section of shape selected from the following list: circular, oval, elliptical, polygonal, in particular square, triangular, rectangular, pentagonal, and hexagonal.
  10. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the thin zone (26) has a cross-section of shape selected from the following list: circular, oval, elliptical, polygonal, in particular square, triangular, rectangular, hexagonal, and pentagonal.
  11. An applicator according to anyone of claims 1 to 9, in which the thin zone (26) has a cross-section of flat shape.
  12. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the thin zone (26) has shape memory.
  13. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the thin zone (26) presents a cross-section that is inscribed in the largest cross-section of at least one of the first portion (10) and of the second portion (20).
  14. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which a smallest cross-section of the thin zone (26) is less than or equal to 2 mm2.
  15. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the body (9) is covered completely by flocking.
  16. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the body (9) is covered, at least in part, by a porous material.
  17. An applicator according to anyone of claims 1 to 14, in which the body (9) presents an outer surface defining the application face.
  18. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the body (5) of the applicator endpiece (6) is molded, at least in part, out of a material selected from the following list: elastomers; thermoplastic materials; thermoplastic elastomers; thermoplastic elastomer polyester; in particular Hytrel®; nitrile rubber; silicone; EPDM; SEBS; SIS; PU; EVA; PVC; PE; PET; and PP.
  19. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the body (5) of the applicator endpiece (6) is molded integrally with a fastener portion (18) for fastening onto the remainder of the applicator.
  20. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the applicator endpiece (6) is magnetic.
  21. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, comprising a reserve of composition and a channel (29) passing through the body (5) of the applicator endpiece (6), enabling the composition to flow from the reserve of composition to the application face (27).
  22. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the second portion (20) can pivot relative to the first portion (10) substantially about a pivot axis that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (x) of the applicator.
  23. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the applicator endpiece (6) extends generally along a longitudinal axis (y) that forms a non-zero angle (x) with a longitudinal axis (x) of the applicator at rest.
  24. An applicator according to the preceding claim, in which the longitudinal axis (x) of the applicator and a longitudinal axis (y) of the applicator endpiece define a plane that is substantially perpendicular to a pivot axis between the first (10) and second (20) portions.
  25. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the second portion (20) comprises at least one opening (28), enabling the composition to flow more easily between the recess (25) and the application face (22).
  26. An applicator according to anyone of the preceding claims, comprising a stem (4) having an end, the first portion of the applicator endpiece being fastened to the end of the stem.
  27. An applicator according to the preceding claim, in which the applicator endpiece (6) is fastened to the stem (4) by injection-molding onto the stem, by adhesive, by heat-sealing, by force-fitting, by snap-fastening, by clamping, or by screw-fastening.
  28. An applicator according to claim 26 or claim 27, in which the body (5) of the applicator endpiece (6) is made, at least in part, from a material that is more flexible than a material from which the stem (4) is made.
  29. An applicator according to anyone of claims 25 to 28, comprising a handle (5) that is fastened to an end of the stem (4) that is remote from the applicator endpiece.
  30. An applicator according to the preceding claim, in which the handle (5) comprises at least one reception zone (17) for receiving a finger, in particular a flat surface or a cavity, that extends substantially parallel to a pivot axis between the first (10) and second (20) portions.
  31. A device according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the wiper member (8) comprises a wiper lip (11) made of elastomer.
  32. A device according to the preceding claim, in which the wiper lip (8) is made of a material that does not have cells.
  33. A device according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which a smallest inside diameter of the wiper member (8) is substantially equal to a greatest outside diameter of the applicator endpiece (16).
  34. A device according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the receptacle (2) is closed in leaktight manner.
  35. A device according to anyone of the preceding claims, in which the composition is a composition for the lips, in particular rouge or a care product for lips.
  36. A device according to anyone of claims 1 to 34, in which the composition is makeup or a care product that is not for the lips, in particular an eyeshadow, a nail varnish, or an eyeliner.
