  4. A key (10) according to the previous claim, characterised in that the deformable elastic element (34) comprises a mainly vertical coil spring.
  5. A key (10) according to any of the previous claims, in combination with claim 2, characterised in that the second extremity (34b) of the deformable elastic element (34) acts directly on the heel (18) of the insert (14).

A key (10) according to any of the previous claims, characterized in that the driving means comprise a manoeuvre element (22) which partly extends outside of the casing (12), which works with the heel (18) of the insert (14) to manually pivot the insert (14) from its retracted position, or from its extended position, at least to its intermediate position.
  7. A key (10) according to any of claims 2 to 4 in combination with claim 6, characterised in that the second extremity (34b) of the deformable elastic element (34) acts on the heel (18) of the insert (14) by means of the manoeuvre element (22), which is connected to the second extremity (34b) of the deformable elastic element (34).
  8. A key (10) according to either claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the manoeuvre element (22) slides inside the casing (12) along a fairly transverse direction, and comprises means (30, 32) to transform its sliding movement into a pivoting movement of the insert (14) around a vertical hinge axis (A).
