Claims (7)

  1. A connecting device for electrical stranded conductors in an electric plug housing (10, 10') comprising pin and/or socket contacts (50, 60) which are arranged in rows and columns in separate chambers (11) and have a connecting portion (52, 62) formed of a geometric volume body having a tip (53, 63), at least one clamping shoulder (54, 64) being formed on the connecting portion opposite to the tip,
    the chambers (11) each having an axially displaceable slide member (20) arranged therein which has a through hole (24) for inserting the stranded conductors,
    a clamping sleeve (40) being fixed in position on the slide member (20) in an axial alignment with the through hole (24), and the clamping sleeve (40) together with the slide member (20) being adapted to be slipped onto, and pulled off again from, the connecting portion (52, 62) of the pin or socket contacts (50, 60), a radial locating force of the clamping sleeve (40) acting on the stranded conductors inserted between the clamping sleeve (40) and the clamping shoulder (54, 64),
    characterized in that
    the clamping sleeve (40) includes a meander-shaped longitudinal slit (41) as well as a beveled, multiple-slit holding ring (42) and a funnel-shaped widening (44).
  2. The connecting device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the slide member (20) has a fork-shaped holding means (26) provided thereon for receiving the clamping sleeve (40).
  3. The connecting device according to either of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    the displaceable slide member is adapted to be levered out of the plug housing (10) by a specific distance by means of a tool engaging into a recess (30).
  4. The connecting device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    on the side facing the connecting portion (5), the slide member (20) includes a round body (22) having angularly integrally molded corner portions (23), a bead (33) being integrally molded with the two corner portions (23) facing the recess (30).
  5. The connecting device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    the slide member (20) is axially guided in a guide groove (19) in the housing (10, 10') by means of a guide rail (32).
  6. The connecting device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    mutually abutting locking edges (18, 28) are formed on the housing (10, 10') and on the slide member (20).
  7. The connecting device according to claim 1, characterized in that
    the volume body of the connecting portion (52, 62) is shaped to be conical, pyramidal, as a polygon or arrow-shaped.
