Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a glove having a protective function against toxins and / or pollutants, the glove having two interconnected glove sections constructed of different materials.
  • non-breathable rubber gloves were used Although they are impermeable to chemical toxins, but have the serious disadvantage that they have low comfort due to the virtually nonexistent breathability, which is particularly disadvantageous for longer periods of use or under heavy physical stress.
  • breathable protective gloves are known from the prior art, as for example in the going back to the applicant itself US 6 301 715 B1 or belonging to the same patent family WO 01/82728 A1 and DE 201 21 518 U1 are described.
  • the glove described there is particularly suitable for pilots of fighter aircraft, since it has an increased tactility with simultaneous protective effect against chemical toxins.
  • This glove has an active carbon-based adsorption layer formed over the entire glove surface for adsorbing chemical poisonous and warfare agents. While this glove has high breathability, the glove is not optimized for protection against extremely high levels of noxious or toxic contaminants, such as those found when toxic substances are in liquid form. Thus, in this glove is not always guaranteed that under extreme situations - for example, when in contact with liquid contaminants highly contaminated objects - the passage of harmful or toxic substances can be completely prevented.
  • a breathable protective glove having - comparable to the aforementioned documents - an adsorbing layer extending over the entire glove surface, for example based on activated carbon, but the protective glove has an additional barrier layer which extends equally over the entire glove surface.
  • the intended barrier layer is arranged between an adsorption layer and an outer carrier layer based on a textile or leather material.
  • DE202004001939 U1 relates to a glove having an inner palm of a liquid-tight, breathable material and a Hanschuhschreiben, the Hanschuhschreiben is formed at least in a layer of a liquid-tight, breathable material. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a glove which at least partially avoids or at least mitigates the previously described disadvantages of the prior art.

Description

The present invention relates to a glove having a protective function against toxins and / or pollutants, the glove having two interconnected glove sections constructed of different materials.

There are a number of substances that are absorbed by the skin and cause serious physical injury. As an example, the blistering Lost (yellow cross) and the nerve agent sarin are mentioned. In addition to such highly toxic chemical warfare agents, there are a large number of other hazardous substances that occur in different areas - for example, as a result of uncontrolled combustion or in the context of industrial production processes, for example as intermediate or waste products. Also, such substances, such as dioxins or the like, may have a high toxic potential, so that people who can come into contact with such poisons, wear appropriate protective equipment or must be protected by suitable protective materials against this poison.

To protect the body, especially the extremities and the trunk there are appropriate protective suits. To protect the head, especially the face and the respiratory tract, ABC protective masks, optionally together with hoods, are generally worn.

However, special protection must also be ensured for the hands, since these can often come into direct contact with the above-mentioned poison or pollutants, for example in the context of military operations, decontamination operations or during work in industrial production. Thus, a special protection of the hands by wearing protective gloves, which are particularly suitable for military use or ABC use guaranteed.

In this context, according to the state of the art for military use or for ABC use, but also in the context of decontamination operations and in the context of industrial protective clothing air and waterproof, non-breathable rubber gloves were used Although they are impermeable to chemical toxins, but have the serious disadvantage that they have low comfort due to the virtually nonexistent breathability, which is particularly disadvantageous for longer periods of use or under heavy physical stress.

Furthermore, so-called breathable protective gloves are known from the prior art, as for example in the going back to the applicant itself US 6 301 715 B1 or belonging to the same patent family WO 01/82728 A1 and DE 201 21 518 U1 are described. The glove described there is particularly suitable for pilots of fighter aircraft, since it has an increased tactility with simultaneous protective effect against chemical toxins. This glove has an active carbon-based adsorption layer formed over the entire glove surface for adsorbing chemical poisonous and warfare agents.

Furthermore, which also relates to the applicant itself DE 103 54 902 a breathable protective glove having - comparable to the aforementioned documents - an adsorbing layer extending over the entire glove surface, for example based on activated carbon, but the protective glove has an additional barrier layer which extends equally over the entire glove surface. The intended barrier layer is arranged between an adsorption layer and an outer carrier layer based on a textile or leather material. Although the presence of a barrier covering the entire hand leads to an improved protective effect against chemical toxins or pollutants, however, the breathability and thus the wearing comfort in a certain way, especially in heavy physical stress or high ambient temperatures, be impaired.

Hierbei soll insbesondere vermieden werden, daß derartige toxische Substanzen bei Berührung bzw. beim Greifen und/oder Festhalten beispielsweise von kontaminierten Objekten oder Oberflächen in Berührung insbesondere mit der Handinnenfläche bzw. der Greiffläche der Hand kommen können, DE202004001939 U1 relates to a glove having an inner palm of a liquid-tight, breathable material and a Hanschuhrücken, the Hanschuhrücken is formed at least in a layer of a liquid-tight, breathable material. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a glove which at least partially avoids or at least mitigates the previously described disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a glove is to be provided, which has a good breathability with simultaneously high protective function against poison or pollutants. In particular, this is to be achieved that concentrated poison or pollutants, such as those present in highly concentrated liquids, aerosols and the like, can not come into contact with the hand or the skin of the hand. This is to be avoided in particular that such toxic substances can come into contact with the palm or the gripping surface of the hand when touching or when gripping and / or holding, for example, contaminated objects or surfaces in contact,

To solve the above-described problem, the present invention proposes a glove for covering a palm, a palm and fingers, in particular a breathable protective glove (z, B, military protective glove, ABC protective glove or work glove with ABC protection function) with protective function against poison and / or pollutants, according to claim 1 before. Further, advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

The subject matter of the present invention is thus a glove which covers at least one inside of the hand, one outside of the hand and the fingers of a wearer, for example a soldier, industrial worker, decontamination specialist, etc., the glove having a protective function against toxic and / or harmful substances. The glove of the invention has two interconnected glove sections, which are constructed of different materials.

Aufgrund dieser speziellen Ausgestaltung des ersten Handschuhabschnitts, der vorzugsweise die Greiffläche der Hand,A special feature of the glove according to the invention is the fact that the first glove portion is formed of a polymer-based material that is at least substantially impermeable to chemical poison or warfare agents or their passage at least delayed and at least substantially gas and water impermeable and in the generally also impermeable to water vapor. Due to this special embodiment of the first glove section, which preferably the gripping surface of the hand,

H. covering the inside of the hand and the inside of the fingers including the fingertips, in particular, the first glove portion is capable of effectively preventing highly concentrated, such as liquid poison, from the hand. This results in an effective protection for the wearer of the glove according to the invention, even if the wearer gets in direct contact with highly concentrated or liquid pollutant sources.

Furthermore, the glove according to the invention is characterized in that the second glove portion is formed from a textile surface filter material which prevents the passage of poison or pollutants or at least delayed and at least substantially gas and water vapor permeable. Thus, the invention ensures that - due to the gas and water vapor permeable, d. H. breathable training of the second glove section - the glove according to the invention also has a total high comfort, so that it is also suitable for prolonged use, for example, under physical stress or at high temperatures.

In other words, the present invention relates to a glove with protective function against poison and / or pollutants, wherein the glove comprises two interconnected glove sections, wherein the glove sections are each formed by at least one piece of material, wherein the pieces of material of the two glove sections each consist of different materials Thus, the first glove portion is formed from at least a first piece of material, wherein the first piece of material of at least one at least substantially gas impermeable and impermeable to water and impermeable to water, the passage of toxic and / or pollutants at least retarding or against chemical poison and / or warfare agents, at least substantially impermeable polymeric material. As regards the second glove section, it is formed from at least one second piece of material, wherein the second piece of material consists of at least one at least substantially gas-permeable and water vapor permeable, ie breathable textile surface filter material, wherein the textile Surface filter material is designed such that it prevents the passage of toxins and / or pollutants or at least delayed.

As mentioned above, it is ensured in particular by the first glove section that the glove has an excellent protective function against highly concentrated pollutants, in particular in liquid form, while the second glove section - in addition to a good protective effect against toxins or pollutants - a high breathability and thus ensures a high level of comfort of the glove according to the invention. The peculiarity of the glove according to the present invention must therefore be seen in particular in the fact that the glove according to the present invention, two differently shaped glove sections with each specially adapted to the requirement profile or tailored protection properties - very high protection potential with respect to the gripping or Hand surface on the one hand and high breathability with respect to the less vulnerable back of the hand on the other - -, so that overall an optimal protection performance on the one hand and a high wearing comfort, in particular an excellent breathability, on the other hand is achieved.

In the context of the present invention, the terms "inside of the hand" and "inside of the fingers" are understood to mean the regions of the hand or fingers which to a certain extent form the gripping surface of the hand, while the terms "back of the hand" and "back of the fingers" the areas of the hand are understood, which lie opposite the inner side of the hand or the inner sides of the fingers and thus do not contribute to the formation of the gripping surface.

The term "longitudinal sides of the fingers" refers to the sides extending in the longitudinal direction of the fingers, which are arranged between the insides of the fingers and the backs of the fingers, that is to say the areas between the fingers.

Furthermore, the term "free ends of the fingers" refers to the finger portions formed by the fingertip and the immediately adjacent finger portions.

According to the invention, the term "glove" is preferably understood to mean such a glove which serves for the at least substantially complete covering of a palm, a palm and fingers. The glove preferably has the shape of a hand with five fingers. However, this embodiment of the glove according to the invention is not limiting; Similarly, it is inventively possible to design the glove, for example in the form of a so-called mitten. Similarly, it is possible according to the invention that in each case two fingers (for example index and middle fingers on the one hand and ring finger and small finger on the other hand) are accommodated in each case in a finger holder or sheath.

In the context of the present invention, the term "front side" - synonymously also referred to as "inside" refers to the glove of the invention, which at least substantially cover the palm of the hand and the insides of the fingers when wearing the glove extend over these.

Accordingly, the term "back" - synonymously also referred to as "outside" - of the glove according to the invention to be understood such that it relates to the areas of the glove which cover the back of the hand at least substantially in the wearing state or extend at least substantially over this.

The term "inside" as used in accordance with the invention refers to the side or layer of the glove sections which, in the wearing state of the glove according to the invention, faces the wearer or is in contact with the wearer or the hand, whereby further (covering) Layers can be provided.

Furthermore, the term "outside", as used in the invention, refers to the side or layer of the glove sections which, in the wearing state of the glove, faces away from the wearer or is in contact with the surroundings, further (cover) layers covering the side or the cover Layer can cover.

Furthermore, the term "front end" of the glove according to the invention relates to the area of the glove, which covers in the wearing state, in particular the fingers and the metacarpus or hand area, while the term "rear end" refers to the area which in the wearing state the wrist and covering the area of the forearm that joins the wrist.

Finally, in the context of the invention, the term "toxins and / or pollutants" means those substances which have toxic properties and which can lead to health or serious physical damage when taken up by the skin or with this in Contact advised. As examples, chemical warfare agents, such. B, the blistering Lost (yellow cross) and the neurotoxin sarin, mentioned. For the purposes of the present invention, however, the toxic or pollutants also include radioactive, biological and chemical substances with toxic potential (eg ABC agents), but also toxic substances, such as those found in industrial production plants, or substances which, for example, arise uncontrollably during fires and environmental disasters. The poison or pollutants can be in solid, liquid and / or gaseous form, eg. As an aerosol or the like.

In the figures, the same reference numerals are used for the same or similar parts, and corresponding features and advantages are achieved, even if a repeated description is omitted for the sake of simplicity.

The figures (ie Fig. 1A to 3B ) show a erfindungemäßen glove 1 for covering a hand inside, a hand outside and fingers with protective function against toxins and / or pollutants. As the Fig. 1A to 3B Furthermore, glove 1 according to the invention has two glove sections 2, 3 connected to one another, which are constructed from different materials. Thus, the first glove section 2 is formed from a polymer-based material which is at least substantially impermeable to chemical poisoning agents and / or warfare agents or whose passage is at least retarded and at least substantially gas and water impermeable and generally also impermeable to water vapor. The second glove section 3 is formed from a textile surface filter material which prevents the passage of poison and / or pollutants or at least delayed and at least substantially gas and / or water vapor permeable.

The Fig. 1A . 2A and 3A show the invention preferred principle that the first glove portion 2 of the glove 1 is designed according to the invention such that it covers the hand inside and the inside of the fingers at least substantially completely in the wearing state of the glove 1. Thus, according to the invention, it is ensured that the area of the hand which, for example, comes into contact with the poison or pollutants when gripping or touching objects is at least substantially completely covered by the first glove section 2. Thus, the first glove portion 2 of the glove 1 according to the invention is arranged at the front end of the glove 1, and particularly preferably at the Front or inside of the glove according to the invention 1. More precisely, the first glove portion 2 extends in the wearing state at least substantially completely over the palm of your hand or, the inner sides of the fingers. However, this is not mandatory, and it is equally possible to cover only certain areas of the palm and the inner surface of the fingers, such as those of the index finger and the thumb, with the first glove portion 2.

What the first embodiment of the invention according to the Fig. 1A 1B, it may be provided according to the invention that the first glove section 2 in the wearing state of the glove 1 covers the free ends of the fingers over the entire circumference of the finger. Thus, the first glove portion 2 can extend, so to speak, fully over the fingertips of the fingers or enclose them, so that, as it were, a covering of the fingertips takes place in the manner of a thimble. The covering of the fingertips by the first glove section 2 in the wearing state of the glove 1 results in the fact that even the particularly exposed and thus endangered fingertips are effectively protected against highly concentrated, in particular liquid, toxic and pollutants.

As the Fig. 1A and 1B Furthermore, it can also be provided according to the invention that the first glove section 2 in the wearing state of the glove 1 covers the fingers for more than half, in particular more than two thirds, particularly preferably more than three quarters, of the finger circumference. It should be ensured - as mentioned above - that the inner surfaces of the fingers are equally covered by the first glove section 2. Furthermore, it can be provided according to a further aspect of this embodiment that the first glove portion 2, the long sides of the fingers at least substantially completely covered, as well as the Fig. 1B can be seen. The covering of the side surfaces of the fingers with the first glove portion 2 leads to the advantage that these areas, which - are arranged in the immediate vicinity of the actual gripping surface of the hand, similar to the fingertips, equally against highly concentrated or, liquid poison or Pollutants are protected. For example, when touching a contaminated object with the Palm inside there is also a certain risk that the long sides of the fingers can come into contact with the poison or pollutants.

What the first embodiment according to FIGS. 1A and 1B is concerned, the second glove portion 3 is formed such that the backs of the fingers are covered in the wearing state of the glove 1 of the second glove portion 3. Thus, according to this first embodiment, the second glove portion 3 may, so to speak, extend from the front end to the rear end of the back of the glove 1 according to the invention, preferably up to the fingertips covered by the first glove portion 2.

Alternatively, according to other embodiments of the glove 1 according to the present invention, it can also be provided according to the invention that the first glove section 2 at least substantially completely covers the fingers in the wearing state of the glove 1, as in the second embodiment according to FIG Fig. 2A or the third embodiment according to Fig. 3A can be seen.

Fig. 3B) über die Handknöchel des Handrückens bzw. über den gesamten Handrücken erstrecken.According to the second and third embodiments, it may equally be provided as in FIG Fig. 2B and 3B shown - that the first glove portion 2 in the wearing state of the glove 1 forms at least a part of the back of the hand. In this case, the first glove section 2 covers at least one region of the back of the hand which is adjacent to the fingers. In other words, according to these embodiments, the first glove section 2 extends, so to speak, completely over the palm of the hand, the fingers and can also (cf. Fig. 3B ) over the knuckles of the back of the hand or over the entire back of the hand.

According to the in the Fig. 2B 3B, the second glove section 3 can be designed in such a way that the second glove section 3 covers the back of the hand or at least part of the back of the hand in the wearing state of the glove 1 (FIG. Fig. 2B ), Preferably, the second glove portion 3 according to this embodiment extends from the rear end of the glove 1 according to the invention to the knuckles. If the second glove section 3 only partially covers the back of the hand in the wearing state of the glove 1, then that is second glove portion 3 arranged such that it preferably covers at least one not adjacent to the fingers portion of the back of the hand.

Due to the gas or water vapor permeability of the second glove section 3 it is ensured that the glove 1 according to the invention - while having a high protection against poison or warfare agents - overall has a very high wearing comfort. The protective effect is not significantly impaired, as well as the second glove section 3 due to its design as textile surface filter material prevents the passage of poison or pollutants or at least delayed, so that even for the less vulnerable area of the hand, especially the back of the hand, an effective Protection against toxic or pollutants is present, especially if they are present in lower concentrations or gaseous.

The Fig. 1A to 3B show that the glove of the invention also has a shaft for the wrist or for the subsequent wrist section of the forearm. In this regard, the shaft may be formed, for example, as a cuff, which can be placed on other items of clothing, such as a jacket, so that thereby a contamination-safe transition between glove 1 and the rest of the garment is created. The shaft is located at the rear end of the glove 1 according to the invention and, as it were, forms the opening for inserting the hand into the glove 1 according to the invention.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the shaft is formed only by the second glove portion 3, as the Fig. 1A to 3B can be removed. However, it can also be provided that the shaft is at least partially formed by the first glove section 2. In this case, the first glove portion 2 should cover the inner surface of the wrist or the forearm portion in the wearing state of the glove 1 and thus effectively form the inside of the shaft. As a result, further protection of the particularly risk of contamination inside surfaces is guaranteed. The shank may be modified by means known per se to those skilled in the art: For example, a zipper fastened in addition to the shank can be provided, which in the closed state can reduce the shank diameter that this rests more closely on the wrist or the forearm, whereby the carrying security is increased. In this regard, the corresponding glove section section 2, 3 should also be formed continuously below the zipper in order not to reduce the protective action against toxic or pollutants. Furthermore, it may be provided that, for example, in the region of the wrist and / or at the rear end of the shaft - for example, and in a non-limiting way - an elastic means, in particular a rubber or the like, is provided to reduce the diameter at this point, so that the glove 1 according to the invention rests against these areas particularly close to the wrist or on the forearm.

The glove 1 according to the invention is characterized in that the first glove portion 2 and / or the second glove portion 3 can each be integrally formed, so that the glove 1 according to the invention preferably consists only of two pieces of material. This leads to a simple structure and thus to a significant cost reduction in terms of production. In addition, there is the advantage that the glove 1 according to the invention has only a few potential break-through points, such as can be created, for example, by sewing pieces of material.

As the Fig. 1A to 3B show further, the pieces of material are connected via connections 4 with each other. In this connection, the first glove portion 2 and the second glove portion 3 may be sewn, glued, welded and the like in a non-restrictive manner, and plural kinds of connection may be simultaneously realized in the joint 4 (for example, sewing and welding). It is crucial that the compounds 4 is formed at least substantially sealing.

As far as the material of the first glove section 2 is concerned, it is essentially free of pores or free of interruptions or continuously formed. Because of these properties, it is ensured that the first glove section 2 is at least substantially impermeable to chemical poisoning or warfare agents or at least retards their passage and at least substantially impermeable to gas and water, and at least is also generally impermeable to water vapor, so that there is a high protective effect with respect to highly concentrated poison or pollutants, in particular if they occur in liquid form. In other words, the first glove section 2 acts as a kind of barrier layer for poison or pollutants since they can not penetrate the first glove section 2 or the material of the first glove section 2.

The material of the first glove section 2 may comprise or consist of at least one rubber, d, h, a natural or synthetic rubber, in particular a modified rubber. According to a particularly preferred embodiment according to the invention, the material of the first glove section 2 comprises butyl rubber or consists thereof. In addition, however, it is also possible to use chloroprene rubbers, such as neoprenes, or fluororubbers. Furthermore, the use of fluoroelastomers, such as Viton ® , is possible.

According to a particular embodiment, it is possible to combine two or more of the aforementioned polymers to form the first glove section 2 (eg rubber on the one hand and fluoroelastomers on the other), this preferably taking place in a layered construction (ie the individual layers form a contiguous one Composite, wherein each layer may comprise a different polymer from the adjacent layer). For this purpose, it can be provided, for example, that the material of the first glove section 2 is multilayered, in particular at least two-layered, preferably at least three-layered ("sandwich construction" or "sandwich construction"), wherein in a preferred embodiment at least one layer has an optionally modified one Rubber, in particular an optionally modified butyl rubber, contains or consists thereof and at least one other layer, which is preferably arranged adjacent to the rubber-containing layer, a fluoroelastomer, such as Viton ® , contains or consists thereof.

As far as the first glove section 2 is concerned, it may preferably additionally have a textile fabric on the inside, in particular a woven fabric, knitted fabric, knit fabric, scrim, nonwoven fabric or nonwoven fabric. If necessary, the textile fabric can also be attached on the outside. It can serve both to increase the wearing comfort, in particular if it is attached on the inside, as well as contribute to an additional reinforcement of the first glove section 2.

Furthermore, provision may be made for the first glove section 2 preferably to be exposed on the inside to a material improving the wear comfort, such as polyamide or viscose. This can be done, for example, in the context of flocking. The exposure to the aforementioned materials leads to an increase in wearing comfort, since on the one hand the feel or the feeling of wear is improved and on the other hand, the applied material preferably can absorb body sweat.

As far as the second glove section 3 or the textile surface filter material of the second glove section 3 is concerned, this or this may have a textile fabric or any textile material which is permeable to air or breathable or permeable to water vapor. Non-limiting examples are woven, knitted, knitted, laid, nonwoven fabrics, nonwovens, nonwovens. In this case, according to the invention, it is also possible to use a reversibly extensible or an elastic textile fabric, for example in order to improve the fit of the glove 1 according to the invention. Elastic textile fabrics are known to those skilled in the art. In particular, it is advantageous if the textile fabric can be stretched or stretched to at least 5%, in particular to at least 10%, preferably to at least 20%, in at least one direction.

The textile fabric may have a basis weight of 25 to 500 g / m 2 , in particular 50 to 300 g / m 2 , preferably 75 to 250 g / m 2 . The skilled person is always able to adapt the corresponding basis weights to the respective requirements.

As far as the second glove section 3 or the textile surface filter material of the second glove section 3 is concerned, this or this adsorbent absorbing a chemical poisons, in particular based on activated carbon, may preferably comprise in the form of activated carbon particles and / or activated carbon fibers. The adsorbent is preferably attached to the textile fabric, in particular as defined above, in particular by means of gluing. The attachment or fixation of poison or pollutants absorbent adsorbent preferably on the textile fabric takes place in a manner known to those skilled in the art, for example by continuous or preferably discontinuous application of an adhesive to the fabric, then the poison or pollutants adsorbing material on the fabric by means of the adhesive is fixed. Usable adhesives are known to those skilled in the art as such; For example, thickened plastic dispersions, hot melt adhesives or reactive adhesives, such as in particular polyurethane-based one- or two-component systems, such. Example, masked prepolymer diisocyanates which crosslink via di- or polyfunctional amines or alcohols are used. Advantageously according to the invention are those adhesives which are breathable in the cured state, z, B, polyurethane-based adhesives.

To increase the wearing comfort, in particular to avoid a stiffness of the textile sheet material, a discontinuous, in particular a punctiform adhesive application is preferred. d. H. The textile fabric is advantageously applied discontinuously or punctiform in a regular or irregular pattern or grid with the adsorbent adsorbing poisonous or pollutant. Due to the dot-like application of the adhesive, the softness, flexibility, and air permeability of the fabric are obtained to a high degree. For efficient adsorption performance, preferably at least 50%, in particular at least 60%, preferably at least 70%, of the textile fabric is exposed to the adsorbent adsorbing the toxic or pollutant. The amount of adhesive used should advantageously be selected such that at least 50%, in particular at least 60%, preferably at least 70%, of the adsorbent adsorbent adsorbent is freely accessible to the adsorbing toxins and pollutants, d. H. is not completely pressed into the adhesive or sinks.

Preferably, the adsorbent adsorbing poison and / or pollutants is arranged on the side of the second glove section 3 facing away from the wearer in the wearing state of the glove 1. In other words, the flat textile structure of the second glove section 3 is preferably arranged on the inside. According to the invention, however, it is equally possible that the adsorbent adsorbing toxic and / or pollutant substances is arranged on the side of the second glove section 3 facing the wearer in the wearing state of the glove 1.

As regards the activated carbon preferably used as adsorbent adsorbing poison or pollutants, it may consist, for example, of discrete activated carbon particles, preferably in granular form ("granular carbon") or spherical form ("spherical carbon"). In this case, the average diameter of the activated carbon particles is preferably less than 1.0 mm, in particular less than 0.8 mm, preferably less than 0.6 mm, but is generally at least 0.1 mm. According to this embodiment, the activated carbon particles are advantageously in an amount of 5 to 500 g / m 2 , in particular 10 to 400 g / m 2 , preferably 20 to 300 g / m 2 , preferably 25 to 250 g / m 2 , particularly preferably 50 to 150 g / m 2 , most preferably 50 to 100 g / m 2 , applied to the carrier material or the textile fabric (loading amount). Suitable activated carbon particles in particular have an internal surface area (BET) of at least 800 m 2 / g, in particular of at least 900 m 2 / g, preferably of at least 1000 m 2 / g, preferably in the range of 800 to 2500 m 2 / g. Grain, especially ball carbon, has the distinct advantage that it is extremely abrasion resistant and very hard, which is of great importance in terms of wear properties. Preferably, the bursting pressure for a single particle of activated carbon, in particular activated carbon granules or beads, is at least 5 Newton, especially at least 10 Newton, and may reach up to 20 Newton.

According to an alternative embodiment, the second glove section 3 or the textile fabric of the second glove section 3 may be provided or acted upon by activated carbon fibers, in particular in the form of an activated carbon fiber sheet. Such activated carbon fiber sheetings may, for example, have a weight per unit area of 10 to 300 g / m 2 , in particular 20 to 200 g / m 2 , preferably 30 to 150 g / m 2 . The activated carbon fiber sheet can be, for example, an activated carbon fiber fabric, knitted fabric, fabric or composite, in particular based on carbonized and activated cellulose or a carbonized and activated acrylonitrile. According to a particular embodiment, the second glove portion 3 may consist essentially of the poison or Pollutant adsorbing material, in particular from the activated carbon fibers, preferably in the form of the aforementioned textile activated carbon fiber sheets exist.

Similarly, it is also possible to combine activated carbon particles and activated carbon fibers together. Activated charcoal particles have the advantage of higher adsorption capacity, while activated carbon fibers have better adsorption kinetics.

To increase the adsorption efficiency or adsorption capacity, it is possible to provide or to impregnate the adsorbent with at least one catalyst in a manner known per se to a person skilled in the art. Suitable catalysts according to the invention are, for example, enzymes and / or metals, preferably copper, silver, cadmium, platinum, palladium, rhodium, zinc and / or mercury, in particular their ions and / or salts. The amount of catalyst can vary widely; In general, it is 0.05 to 12 wt .-%, preferably 1 to 10 wt .-%, particularly preferably 2 to 8 wt .-%, based on the weight of the adsorbent. The additional use of a catalyst leads to a discharge of the activated carbon, so that it does not exhaust too quickly.

The good wearing properties of the glove 1 according to the invention are additionally improved when using a poison or adsorbent adsorbent based on activated carbon by the Puffung of the activated carbon, because the activated carbon as a moisture or water storage or buffer (eg., For hand perspiration) is used , When using, for example, activated carbon particles in grain form ("grain carbon") or spherical shape ("ball carbon"), for example, up to about 250 g / m 2 or more z. B. stored in a sweat break about 40 g / m 2 of moisture, which can then be discharged back to the outside.

According to the invention, it may also be provided that the adsorbent adsorbing the chemical poisons is covered on the outside with another textile sheet material, in particular with a woven, knitted, knitted, laid, nonwoven or nonwoven fabric, in order to protect the adsorbent from external influences. If an additionally applied outside textile fabric is provided, the second glove section has 3 or the textile surface filter material of the second glove section 3 has a so-called sandwich structure.

As far as the air permeability of the second glove section 3 is concerned, it should, measured according to DIN 53887, be more than 200 l / m 2 per second, preferably more than 300 l / m 2 per second, preferably more than 400 l / m 2 per second, more preferably more than 600 l / m 2 per second, very particularly preferably more than 800 l / m 2 per second. A high air permeability is particularly advantageous insofar as this ensures a high wearing comfort.

Technol. [Measurements Science and Technology] 14, 1402-1408, August 2003 ). The water vapor permeability of the second glove section 3 or the textile fabric of the second glove section 3 results in a high wearing comfort with respect to the entire glove 1 according to the invention. To ensure a high wearing comfort, the second glove section 3 of the glove 1 according to the invention can have a water vapor permeability at 25 ° C. of at least 15 l / m 2 per 24 h, in particular 20 l / m 2 per 24 h, preferably at least 25 l / m 2 per 24 h, more preferably at least 30 l / m 2 per 24 h or even more (measured according to the "Inverted Cup Method" according to ASTM E 96 and at 25 ° C.) (For further details on the measurement of water vapor permeability [WVT] see also McCullough et al. "A comparison of standard methods for measuring water vapor permeability of factories" in Meas, Sci. Technol. [Measurements Science and Technology] 14, 1402-1408, August 2003 ). This ensures - as described - a particularly high level of comfort, as body sweat, especially hand sweat, can be effectively removed.

To ensure a high degree of wearing comfort, the second glove section 3 or the textile fabric of the second glove section 3 may also have a water vapor transmission resistance R 1 under steady-state conditions - measured according to DIN EN 31 092: 1993 of February 1994 ("Textiles - physiological effects, measurement of heat and water vapor transmission resistance under steady-state conditions (sweating guardedhotplate test) "or according to the same international standard ISO 11 092 - at 35 ° C of at most 20 (m 2 · Pascal) / watt, in particular at most 15 (m 2 Pascal) / Watt, preferably at most 10 (m 2 · Pascal) / watt, more preferably at most 5 (m 2 · Pascal) / watt.

Due to the specific design of the second glove section 3, an excellent protection against toxins and pollutants is thus made possible, since the second glove section 3 in particular prevents or at least delays the passage of gaseous toxins or pollutants, so that the glove according to the invention 1 as a whole has excellent protective properties against the aforementioned toxic substances.

So is - in particular to achieve a good protective effect against toxins and / or pollutants with high water vapor and air permeability - the barrier effect of the glove 1 of the invention against chemical warfare agents, especially bis [2-chloroethyl] sulfide (synonymously as mustard gas, Lost or yellow cross), measured according to CRDEC-SP-84010, Method 2.2, at most 4 μg / cm 2 per 24 h, in particular at most 3.5 μg / cm 2 per 24 h, preferably at most 3.0 μg / cm 2 per 24 h, more preferably at most 2.5 μg / cm 2 per 24 h. As a result, an extraordinarily high protection against poison or warfare agents can be achieved.

Finally, provision may be made for the glove 1 according to the invention to have a connection element, in particular a preferably elastic termination collar. This prevents slippage of the glove 1 according to the invention or ensures improved protection against toxic or pollutants due to the additional sealing effect. According to the invention, the connecting element can be designed equally and in a non-restrictive manner as a tear or Velcro closure, whereby an effective and secure connection can be achieved with other articles of clothing, such as jackets, shirts and the like. The glove 1 according to the invention can thus be an integral part of, for example, a (full-body) protective suit.

The preparation of the glove according to the invention can be carried out in a conventional manner. This is the one concerned with the manufacture of gloves Professional well known, so that in this regard requires no further comments.

Arbeitshandschuhs).
The glove according to the invention has numerous advantages, of which purely by way of example the present should be mentioned:
  • The protective glove of the invention has an excellent protective function against poison or warfare agents of all kinds, at the same time a good wearing comfort is ensured due to the excellent breathability. So even under high physical stress moisture, especially in the form of hand sweat, effectively be removed from the hand. Thus, the skin remains pleasantly dry even under heavy physical stress, so that it does not get soaked in particular.
  • The glove according to the invention has specially adapted to the requirement profile or tailor-made protective properties, so that overall results in optimal protection while maintaining high comfort. The simultaneous realization of the diametrically opposite properties of a high protective effect on the one hand and a good breathability on the other hand according to the invention just achieved in that the glove has two differently shaped glove sections with each specially adapted to the requirement profile protective properties.
  • Due to the special design of the chemical poisonous or warfare agents at least substantially impermeable or their passage at least retarding material of the first glove section a particularly high protective effect is ensured in particular against highly concentrated or liquid poison or pollutants.
  • Due to the gas or water vapor permeability and simultaneous protective function against toxins or pollutants of the second glove section ensures that the glove according to the invention - at the same time high protection against poison or warfare agents - overall has a very high level of comfort.
  • To improve the grip of the first glove portion may also be provided on the outside with knobs and / or with a surface roughness, so that in this way the grip of the glove according to the invention can be significantly increased.
  • The protective glove of the invention consists only of two glove sections, so that the number of connections and thus the number of potential breakthrough sites is reduced. Due to the small number of pieces of material at the same time a cost-effective production of the glove according to the invention is possible.
  • Due to the seamless formation of the palm of the hand, the inner surfaces of the fingers and the fingertips of the glove according to the invention in the grip area no annoying seams and thus excellent tactility.
  • Due to the aforementioned properties, the glove according to the invention is particularly suitable for military use or ABC use (eg in the form of a military glove) or, for example, for decontamination use or when handling highly toxic substances, for example in the industrial sector (eg. in the form of a laboratory or work glove).
