Abstract

L'invention concerne une culasse refroidie par eau, destinée à un moteur à combustion interne multicylindre et comprenant un carter de culasse (10) muni de conduits d'échange de gaz, des alésages traversants (48, 49, 50) pour le logement de vis de culasse, ainsi que des guides de tige de soupape (24 à 46) pour les soupapes d'admission et d'échappement contrôlant les conduits d'échange de gaz. La culasse selon l'invention comprend également des calottes de chambre de combustion (64, 66, 68) délimitées par une chemise d'eau (70, 72, 74) du côté opposé à la chambre de combustion, ainsi que respectivement un dôme de bougie d'allumage dont l'orifice (18, 20, 22) conduit à la chambre de combustion du cylindre correspondant. Selon l'invention, une structure nervurée (76, 80, 82) est intégrée dans le carter de culasse afin de rigidifier le carter de culasse (10) et/ou de supporter les calottes de chambre de combustion (64, 66, 68).
