Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lower leg protective clothing, in particular protective socks, against chemical and / or biological contaminants.
  • the DE 199 18 425 A1 describes a protective shoe in which an inner shoe with a breathable membrane is designed as a stocking.
  • the EP 1 269 877 describes a protective suit as overalls for protection against chemical pollutants.
  • a disadvantage of known protective suits against chemical and / or biological contaminants in the military field is that they extend only to the ankle and thus the feet are not protected. To protect the feet, overboots made of 100% butyl are used.
  • the disadvantage here is that the boots can only be tightened when the soldier has put on the suit. But since the protective suits are usually very stiff, putting on the overboot is relatively cumbersome.
  • the known pull-on boots also have no breathability and are relatively bulky and large. The fact that they are separate from the protective suits, there is also a risk that they will be lost.
  • the present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a Unterbeinschutzbedire, in particular a protective socks, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned above, in particular, which offers a high level of comfort and how a conventional socks or stockings can be worn.
  • this object is achieved by a Unterbeinschutzbecited, in particular a protective socks, which has a plurality of layers, with an outer leg part and a arranged inside the outer leg part laminate, forming the outside of the laminate flexible, windproof and water-repellent membrane, the at least one barrier for biological Contaminants forms, a disposed below the membrane carbon layer in which carbon is present in fiber or particle form, and having an inner textile fabric layer.
  • a protective socks which has a plurality of layers, with an outer leg part and a arranged inside the outer leg part laminate, forming the outside of the laminate flexible, windproof and water-repellent membrane, the at least one barrier for biological Contaminants forms, a disposed below the membrane carbon layer in which carbon is present in fiber or particle form, and having an inner textile fabric layer.
  • the lower leg protection clothing according to the invention offers protection against chemical and / or biological pollutants as well as a high wearing comfort. She is very flexible and can be worn like a "normal" stocking or socks. In particular, one can the lower leg protective clothing according to the invention Wear before the suit is tightened, which in the case of use a person wearing a protective suit is attracted faster and also has better freedom of movement.
  • the membrane according to the invention is designed to be breathable, the wearing comfort can be improved even more.
  • the outer leg part when formed as socks, may consist of an outer sock made of wool, cotton, silk, polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, polyacrylic, modifications or blends thereof.
  • the laminate according to the invention provides protection against chemical and / or biological pollutants.
  • the wind-tightness of the membrane prevents wind from entering the underlying carbon layer, thereby impairing its effectiveness. Due to the water-tightness at the same time also a wetting or penetration of liquid chemicals is prevented in the carbon layer, which would also lead to a deterioration of effectiveness.
  • the membrane In addition to acting as a barrier against biological contaminants, the membrane also acts as a filter against pollutants in a corresponding embodiment.
  • hydrophilic membranes e.g. Polyester, polyether, polyester copolymer and the like
  • hydrophilic membranes e.g. Polyester, polyether, polyester copolymer and the like
  • the underlying carbon layer can be made thinner without compromising their effectiveness.
  • the wearing comfort is considerably increased because the heat-accumulating carbon layer is thinner.
  • Further advantageous materials for the membrane are e.g. cellophane-based materials, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylamides, polyurethanes, and mixtures thereof.
  • microporous membranes e.g. Polytetrafluoroethylene
  • windproofness and waterproofness breathability is achieved.
  • the carbon layer may comprise a woven or knitted fabric having 100% activated fibers or also activated carbon beads applied to a substrate.
  • Carrying comfort is even more improved if, in addition to the outer leg part, there is still an inner leg part on the inside, i. the side facing the carrier, the laminate is arranged.
  • the inner leg part when formed as inner socks, may be made of man-made fibers, e.g. Polypropylene, polyamide, polyester, modifications and blends thereof.
  • a textile fabric may be provided which forms a mechanical protective layer for the carbon layer.
  • the membrane On the outside, the membrane also forms a mechanical protective layer for the fiber layer in addition to its protective effect against pollutants.
  • lower leg protective clothing according to the invention is described below on the basis of a protective sock.
  • other lower leg protection garments such as e.g. Stockings, in the embodiment of the invention possible.
  • the three layers consisting of outer socks 1, 2 laminate and inner socks 3, are connected together and are tightened together as a protective socks.
  • the connection between the three layers may e.g. done by sewing and / or gluing.
  • the suturing may e.g. in the area of the upper ends of the three layers and additionally in the heel and toe area, e.g. by means of flags.
  • the inner sock 3 may optionally be made hydrophilic. At the seams, the inner sock 3 should be made of soft, be knit fluffy spun yarn so that pressure marks on the foot are prevented.
  • the inner sock 3 is formed longer than the laminate 2 and the outer sock 1, one can put the inner sock 3 at the upper end over the laminate 2 and the outer sock 1 in the form of a cuff to the outside, as shown in the Figures 1 and 2 is shown in dashed lines.
  • moisture absorbed in this way can be transported outward and can evaporate there.
  • Outer socks 1 and inner socks 2 can be made of several cut parts. Of course, outer socks 1 and 3 inner socks can be woven or knitted without seam.
  • the laminate 2 may be made of three cut pieces as shown in FIGS FIGS. 3 to 5 is apparent.
  • Fig. 3 shows the cut part for a shaft 4 of the laminate.
  • Fig. 4 shows the section for a whoobererteil 5 and
  • Fig. 5 shows a section for a sole 6 of the laminate.
  • the three cut pieces can be joined together using a flatlock stitch or zigzag stitch, sealing the seams with a waterproof material.
  • the waterproof material may for example consist of a waterproof seam sealing tape.
  • a connection of the three cutting parts by water and gas-tight adhesive is possible, which should also form a barrier against pollutants.
  • the Fig. 6 shows in a greatly enlarged cross section the structure of the protective cam of the three layers, namely the outer sock 1, the laminate 2 and the inner socks 3. From the Fig. 6 is also the structure of the laminate 2, which consists of three layers, can be seen.
  • the membrane 7, the carbon layer 8 and the textile fabric layer 9 are connected to one another in a known manner by a lamination process.
  • This can e.g. by point-by-point lamination, wherein adhesive is introduced pointwise between the layers to be joined together and then the layers are bonded together during a pass through pressure rollers.
  • the lamination process can be carried out with or without heating.
  • the Fig. 7 shows basically the same structure as the embodiment of the protective cam according to the Fig. 6 , The only difference is that in this case the inner sock 3 is missing, so that the textile fabric layer 9 of the laminate 2, which in this case will then be made hydrophilic, bears against the foot of the wearer.
  • the membrane 7 is designed to be flexible so that expansions in both the transverse and in the longitudinal direction are possible and tearing is avoided.
  • the active carbon layer 8 can be made in fiber form from a knit or fabric.
  • active carbon fibers it is known to burn viscose fibers or a viscose fabric or knitted fabric in a controlled manner and to control the combustion process so that activated carbon with extremely fine pores is formed, which then produce the filter effect.
  • the thickness of the carbon layer 8 may be between 0.2 to 1.0 mm, preferably between 0.4 to 0.8 mm.
  • Advantageous active surfaces of the carbon layer 8 are in a range of 800 to 2,000 m 2 / g, preferably between 1,000 to 1,200 m 2 / g.
