Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein zusammenklappbares Bügelbrett, insbesondere ein Ärmelbügelbrett, mit einer Parallelogrammführung, die zwei zueinander parallele Schwenkbügel aufweist und die ein Fußelement und ein Tischelement gelenkig miteinander verbindet.
Aus der Patentschrift CH 335621 ist ein zusammenlegbarer zweiseitig verwendbarer Bügelblock bekannt. Der Bügelblock weist zwei verschieden große je eine Bügelfläche bildende Bretter auf, die mittels zwei Metallbügeln und mit an beiden Brettern angeschraubten Metalllaschen derart aneinander befestigt sind, dass beide Bretter parallel gegeneinander verschoben werden können und dieses Verschieben durch ein Holzklötzchen, welches an einem der beiden Bretter mittels eines Scharniers in einem Winkel von 90° schwenkbar angeordnet ist, arretiert werden kann.
Aus der US Patentschrift 2,451,259 ist ein ähnliches Bügelbrett mit einer zwischen einem Fußelement und einem Tischelement angeordneten Parallelführung bekannt. Um das Bügelbrett in der Aufklappposition fixieren zu können, ist an dem Tischelement eine Halteklammer gelenkig angeordnet, die in eine Ausnehmung des Fußelementes einführbar ist und dort durch Federkraft gehalten wird.
Die Bügelbretter des genannten Typs haben einerseits den Nachteil, dass sie im aufgeklappten Zustand keine ausreichende Stabilität bieten und darüber hinaus ist bei diesen Bügelbrettern die effektiv nutzbare Länge beim Bügeln von Ärmeln oder Hosenbeinen, durch die Aufklappmechanik (Parallelführungselemente) stark eingeschränkt, da die Aufklappmechanik nur ein Aufschieben eines Ärmels oder eines Hosenbeines bis etwa zur Hälfte oder allenfalls bis zu einer Länge von 2/3 des Tischelementes erlaubt und ein weiteres Aufschieben räumlich blockiert.
Aus der internationalen Anmeldung WO 95/19464 ist ein zusammenlegbares Bügelbrett bekannt, das das zuletzt genannte Problem durch ein extrem langes Tischelement zu lösen versucht. Dieses Bügelbrett hat den Nachteil, dass der zu bügelnde Ärmel beziehungsweise das zu bügelnde Hosenbein vollständig über den Bügeltisch gezogen werden muss ― auch wenn dies gar nicht gewünscht wird - und dass anschließend der lange freitragende Bügeltisch am Aufschiebende durch einen weiteren einschwenkbaren Stützfuß abgestützt werden muss.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Bügelbrett insbesondere ein Ärmelbügelbrett anzugeben, das in der Aufklappposition stabil und zuverlässig arretierbar ist und das darüber hinaus einen vergrößerten nutzbaren Anteil des Bügeltisches beim Bügeln von Ärmeln oder Hosenbeinen bietet.
Die Aufgabe wird durch ein zusammenklappbares Bügelbrett gelöst, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass eine Strebe vorgesehen ist, die zur Verriegelung des Bügelbrettes in einer Aufklappstellung eines der beweglichen Teile gegen ein Wiederlager drückt und/oder zieht, wobei die Strebe in der Aufklappstellung zumindest teilweise außerhalb der Parallelogrammführung angeordnet ist.
Das erfindungsgemäße Bügelbrett hat den Vorteil, dass es in der Aufklappstellung sicher und zuverlässig arretierbar ist. Hierbei wurde erfindungsgemäß erkannt, dass eine Strebe, die zumindest eines der beweglichen Teile in der Aufklappstellung gegen ein Wiederlager drückt und/oder zieht nicht notwendigerweise (in der Seitprojektion) innerhalb der Parallelogrammführung angeordnet sein muss. Vielmehr kann erfindungsgemäß die Strebe so angeordnet sein, dass sie ein Aufziehen eines Ärmels oder eines Hosenbeins nicht behindert. Vorteilhafterweise ist die Strebe zwischen dem Tischelement und dem Fußelement verspannbar. Hierbei kann in einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltungsform die Strebe als Druckstrebe dienen, während sie in einer anderen, ebenfalls sehr vorteilhaften Ausgestaltungsform, als Zugstrebe ausgelegt sein kann.
Das Fußelement weist in einer vorteilhaften, stabilen Ausführungsform einen u-förmigen Rahmen auf.
