Abstract

A foldable board (1) for ironing the full length of a pair of trousers or a skirt to achieve thorough ironing of the highest quality. The board (1) is long and narrow and its underside is attached at one end to a combination of a support (2) and a metal base plate (7) for supporting the board (1), via at least two hinged brackets (4..) closely spaced beneath one end of the board (1), and forming a variable parallelogram having portions for locking the brackets (4..) in the raised position, said brackets having complementary shapes enabling them to fit inside one another in the flat collapsed position. The ironing board is set up by shifting the board (1) from right to left so that the first bracket (4/1) engages a stop (6) or snaps into members (8) specially provided in the stop (6) at the left-hand end of the base plate (7).

Description

IRONING BOARD OF PANTS AND SKIRTS CLOTHING (FOLDABLE). TECHNICAL AREA :

The invention relates to an ironing board for trousers and skirts, and was therefore created for the purpose of ironing said clothing and could join the family of the ironing board and the jeannette, so that these three objects become inseparable, and thus, said three objects would allow us to be able to use all the possibilities of use, depending on the difficulties encountered during the ironing of such or such linen or garment. It is reptiable and has four technical possibilities. The fact that the support is fixed, under the board, at one end of the latter, facilitates the donning of pants or skirt for full ironing and quality.

STATE OF THE PRIOR ART:

1) - Traditionally there was the ironing board which is made up of a large, fairly wide board of about 30 to 45 centimeters, and an approximate length of 120 centimeters, placed and fixed on tassels with double folding legs, which , when placed and adjusted in the fool, are approximately 90 to 110 centimeters high (depending on the height of the adjustment), and form a large "X". Said ironing board does not allow ironing of pants or your skirts with ease, and without hatred of wrinkles, your said clothes can not be put on the ironing board, your feet and the width of said table preventing the wrapping of said clothing.

Notes:

There are at least 120 ironing systems listed, according to viewing of INPI micnohilms, in puppets, from the year 1956, i.e. from the reference 6191411106922 of May 16, 1955 (ironing ties), with reference 2614326A1 / 8705915 of April 27, 1987 (ironing board in two parts, with space for jeannette), and none of them allows the putting on of pants and skirts for ironing.

PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION:

1st variant (drawings on pages 1/14 to 2/14, fig. 1A to 5A):

1) - place the metal support (2) on the back of the board (1), housing the 2 holding brackets (4/1, 4/2) in advance, in the 2 slots provided for this purpose, on the extreme left of said support, before fixing it with screws, over its entire length.

2) - insert, by lateral pressure, the 2 stirrups (4/1, 4/2) and the mobile stirrup (5) holding the right side of the board (1), in the perforations provided on the inside of the base ( 7).

3) - the whole being fixed, move the board (1) from right to left, in a way to make the 1st stirrup of the far left abut, against your stop (6) (or spacer) blocking the assembly, which provides good stability of the assembly for its use. And this gives an inclination of the 2 stirrups (4/1, 4/2) and the mobile retaining stirrup (5) of about 65 degrees.

5) - insert the plastic end caps at the 2 ends, to the left of the base (7) for finishing.

6) - dress the board (1) of the cover, and tie the ties for a flat support of the latter.

4th variant (drawings on pages 3/14 to 5/14, fig. 6A to 12A):

1) - compose the base (7) and the locking yoke (6), plus snap-in pieces (8). use tubes of diameter 18 and 20, elbows of diameter 18 and 16, reductions in diameter 18/16 and 16/14, tees of 20 (all being copper).

2) - pinch the 2 stirrups (4/1, 4/2) at the base to insert them into the 4 slots provided for this purpose, either in tees of 20, inside the base (7).

3) - fix the 2 tongues flat metal parts (11/1, 11/1) to the back of the board (7) with 18 Phillips screws.

4) - fix the 2 brackets (4/1, 4/2) with 4 metal jumpers and 8 cnucihormes screws.

5) - and set everything up for use by moving the board from right to left, so that the first stirrup (4/1) on the far left is snapped into the parts (8) provided for this purpose in the stop (6) included at the extreme left of the base (7), and covering of the panel (1) with the peripherally elasticated cover and zn tying the retaining links. 4th variant (drawings on pages 6/14 to 9/14, fig. 13A to 19A):

5) - fix the 2 long flat metal reinforcement pieces (12/1, 12/2) to the back of the board (1), with 4 × 20 Phillips screws.

6) - pinch the 4 stirrups (4/1, 4/2, 4/3, 4/4) at their base, so that they can be inserted into their respective housings provided on the inside of the base (7), which allow them rotate from left to right, and vice versa.

7) - the whole being assembled, offset the board (1) to the left, so that the 1st stirrup (4/1) comes to abut against the blocking piece (6), in the position of about 65 degrees, and stabilizes the 'together.

8) - dress the board (1) of the cover, and tie the ties for perfect support of the latter.

4th variant (drawings on pages 10/14 to 14/14, fig. 20A to 28A):

7) - fix the first 3 stirrups (4/1, 4/2, 4/3) with metal jumpers on the back of the board (1), starting from the far left.

2) - fix the 4th tin (4/4) with 2 metal jumpers.

3) - fix the 2 wooden blocks to the small metal block (10) with screws on the back of the board (having previously housed the end of the strut (9) or trapezoid in said parts ( 10).

4) - fix the 2 long flat metal reinforcement pieces (12/1, 12/2) of your board on its back, with screws.

5) - pincen the stirrups (4/1, 4/2, 4/3, 4/4) at their base, ahin of being able to insert them in their respective housings provided for this purpose, in tees of 10, on the inner side of the base (7).

6) - the whole being assembled, move the board (1) to the left, so that the 1st stirrup (4/1) comes to abut in an inclined position of approximately 65 degrees against the stop (6) on the far left, and can snap into the 2 snap pieces (8). And so, the trapezoid (or strut) (9) hangs in the bottom, to the far right of the back of your board (1), of the metal piece (10) of stop.

7) - dress the board (1) of the cover, and tie the ties for perfect support of the latter.

5) - Ie everything being ironed, fold the board and put it away.

Benefits :

The ironing board for pants and skirts allows you to iron a garment with 2 legs, in its entirety, without any creases, especially under the taitle, when it is pleated, or when there are pockets. It goes without saying that it is better to put the leg of the garment to be ironed inside out, to avoid buffing, or right side up using a wet cloth. Also useful for elasticated waist skirts, because the far left width of the board allows for better ironing, by making the belt protrude above the pleating (with a classic ironing board, this is not possible).

General remarks :

1) - measurements of the board correspond to the sizes of teenage people, up to the sizes of adult people, from about 1.60 to 1.75 meters, or more, and whatever the weight (example: jeans of a person of 1.70 meters occupies the length of 1.10 meters to 1.75 on the board).

2) - board made for pants with a wide bottom (example: elephant leg).

3) - board huit for ironing whatever skirts.

4) - board made for ironing pants with a narrow bottom.

5) - board developed in a length of approximately 110 centimeters, it can be placed on a table or on the ironing board (the latter measuring approximately 120 centimeters of pan its board).

6) - base made with ends of rigid copper tubes, elbows, tees, (not equipped with specialized tools) to give concrete form to the idea. (further general remarks)

7) - produced by folding, said board is practical and economical for transport, during marketing, and causes the least possible space for the user.

8) - adding plastic end caps to the two ends of the 1st variant for finishing.

9) - add 3/4 of rubber circles under the base bars for better grip on the work surface.

10) - production of the board in pressed chips and in wire mesh with strapping for steam ironing.

11) - the cover must be made out of a very very smooth fabric, so that the garment can slip easily. It is elasticated and has ties to tie (for better hold of said cover) on the periphery.

Claims

R E V E N D I C A T I O N S

1) Board intended to iron the pants as a whole (to avoid wrinkles, panticulièimentation under the size or when there are pockets), the simple pants, the pants with elephant leg, the pants pleated at the waist and with pockets, simple jeans, pleated jeans at zt waist with pockets, pajamas pants, satin pants, sweatpants, narrow or wide shorts, Bermuda shorts, short or long skirts, narrow or swaddling, elasticated skirts waist, pleated skirts at the waist and with pockets, characterized in that it consists of a narrow and long board (7), under which is fixed a metal support (2) / base (7), and which ensures the maintenance of the board (1), and in that the board (1) is connected to the base (7) by at least 2 articulated stirrups (4) arranged in a closely spaced fashion to one another under a end of the board (1), in the form of a parallelog ramme dehormable with means for holding in the upright position, and a complementary shape of the stirrups (4 ..) so that they can be nested in each other in the unfolded flat position, and it is placed on a normal table or on an ironing table.
