Claims (5)

  1. An offset web-fed rotary printing machine having at least one printing unit which consists of a first printing group with a first plate cylinder (10) and a first blanket cylinder (2) and of a second printing group with a second plate cylinder (11) and a second blanket cylinder (13), for double-side printing on a printing-material web (1) that can be guided through between the blanket cylinders (2, 3), and wherein the plate cylinders (2, 3) are each provided with an end plate whose ends are fixed in clamping slots (12, 13) of the plate cylinders (10, 11), and wherein a tubular rubber blanket (4, 6) is slid axially onto the blanket cylinders (2, 3), and the blanket cylinders (2, 3) have a double circumference and the plate cylinders (10, 11) have a single circumference, wherein the lengths of the cylinders (2, 3; 10, 11) amount to more than 1400 mm, and wherein the diameters of the cylinders (2, 3; 10, 11) are uniform when viewed in the axial direction, characterised in that the diameters of the tubular rubber blankets (4, 6) are uniform when viewed in the axial direction, wherein the tubular rubber blankets (4, 6) each have a metallic carrier sleeve that can be expanded by air, multi-layer rubber layers applied to the carrier sleeve, of which one rubber layer is compressible, and a printing area (5) that is formed as a separate layer and forms an outer layer of the rubber blanket, and in that the thickness and the rigidity of the rubber layers of the tubular rubber blankets (4, 6) are uniform when viewed in the axial direction.
  2. An offset web-fed rotary printing machine having at least one printing unit according to claim 1, characterised in that one blanket cylinder (3) can be driven by a motor (7), and the associated plate cylinder (11) can be driven by way of a spur gear construction of this blanket cylinder (6).
  3. An offset web-fed rotary printing machine having at least one printing unit according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the blanket cylinders (2, 3) have inner cooling.
  4. An offset web-fed rotary printing machine having at least one printing unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the rubber layer (5) of one tubular rubber blanket (4) has a gap in the axial direction, and in that provided on the blanket cylinder (2) there is a circumferential register marking onto which the tubular rubber blanket (4) after being slid onto the blanket cylinder (2) can be positioned in the circumferential direction in a manner true to register.
  5. An offset web-fed rotary printing machine having at least one printing unit according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each blanket cylinder (2, 3) is connected to a separate drive motor (7), and in that in each case the accompanying plate cylinder (13, 11) can be driven by way of a front tooth construction of the associated blanket cylinder (2, 3), and in that associated with each plate cylinder (10, 11) there is an inking unit (16, 14) and a dampening unit (17, 15).
