  1.     • integral with said first element (10) via said axis of rotation (12) which passes through said second element near one of its ends and said first element,
    • mounted so as to be able to slide on a part (9) integral with the seat portion (1) and
    • immobilizable in a desired position with respect to this same part (9),
    a first extendable/retractable member (6) being fastened, on the one hand, to the end of said first element opposite the end which is integral with the back rest and, on the other hand, to the end of said second element which is opposite the axis of rotation.
  2. Seat according to Claim 1, characterized in that said first extendable/retractable member is a gas spring (6) .
  3. Seat according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the point (13) of fastening of said first extendable/retractable member (6) to said back rest (2) rotation support (10) is adjustable along said support.
  4. Seat according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said seat portion (1) sliding support comprises a stop (18) limiting the pivoting of the back rest (2) with respect to the seat portion (1).
  5. Seat according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, also comprising a seat portion support (5), characterized in that this seat portion support (5) has a point of fastening for one of the ends of a second extendable/retractable member (4) whose other end is fastened to said seat portion (1).
  6. Seat according to Claim 5, characterized in that the first (6) and second (4) extendable/retractable members function independently of one another.
  7. Seat according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, also comprising a leg rest (3), characterized in that said leg rest (3) has a point of fastening for one of the ends of a third extendable/retractable member (7) whose other end is fastened to said seat portion (1).
  8. Seat according to Claim 7, characterized in that the first (6), second (4) and third (7) extendable/retractable members function independently of one another.
  9. Seat according to any one of Claims 5 to 7, characterized in that said second (4) and/or third (7) extendable/retractable member(s) is/are (a) pneumatic jack(s).
  10. Seat according to any one of Claims 1 and 3 to 7, characterized in that said first (6) and/or second (4) and/or third (7) extendable/retractable member(s) is/are (an) electric jack(s).
