- The folding seat according to Claim 8, characterized in that the armrests (15, 16) are attached to the seat (3) by means of curved slides (17) positioned in the armrests (15, 16) and wherein fingers attached to the seat (3) can move so that the distance between the armrests (15, 16) and the seat (3) varies during their respective movements.
- The folding seat (1) according to any one of Claims 1 through 9, characterized in that the base (2) encloses a gas cylinder (14) one end whereof is mounted free to rotate on the base (2) and the other end whereof is mounted free to rotate on the seat (3) or on the hinge device, said cylinder (14) enabling slowing of the displacement of the seat (3) and of the backrest (4) when they are moving toward their folded position.
- The folding seat (1) according to one of Claims 1 through 10, characterized in that the hinge device includes rigid plates (5, 6) allowing the backrest (4) and the seat (3) to be attached to said hinge device.
- The folding seat (1) according to Claim 11, characterized in that the first (8) and the second connecting rod (9) are mounted free to rotate relative to the backrest (4) on the second rigid plate (6).
- The folding seat (1) according to one of Claims 1 through 12, characterized in that the backrest (4) has a shape that is substantially complementary to that of the seat (3) in order to reduce the thickness of the seat (1) when it is in its folded position.
- The folding seat (1) according to one of Claims 1 through 13, characterized in that the deformable quadrilateral is a parallelogram.
