Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hose comprising a core and cover with embedded reinforcement, in the form of a single or multi-layer reinforcement structure, the core and cover each consisting of a thermoplastic elastomer.
  • hose structure there is a comprehensive state of the art, which also describes a large number of reinforcement variants, reference being made, for example, to the following publications: DE 33 32 550 C2, EP 0 149 805 B1, EP 0 567 115 B1 and EP 0 848 794 B1.
  • the reinforcement consists of a textile and / or metallic material and depends on the intended use.
  • hoses there are, for example: water hoses, compressed air hoses, oil and petrol hoses, chemical hoses, steam hoses and hydraulic hoses.
  • hoses are made from various materials, such as rubber, plastics (PVC) and rubber-plastic compounds.
  • the generic hose is made of a thermoplastic elastomer (short name TPE).
  • TPE-S thermoplastic elastomers based on styrene
  • TPE-O uncrosslinked or partially crosslinked thermoplastic elastomers based on olefin
  • TPE-V fully crosslinked thermoplastic elastomers based on olefin
  • the hose according to the invention is characterized in that an adhesion-promoting intermediate layer is incorporated, which can be welded to the core and / or ceiling material and thus forms a connection to the reinforcement. The welding takes place during the manufacturing process.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer is extruded directly onto the core, the strength member then being placed on the intermediate layer.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer is extruded directly onto the reinforcement, whereby the ceiling is then worked up.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer is applied to the soul and to the ceiling, so that the reinforcement is completely integrated into the intermediate layer.
  • This variant is particularly advantageous, especially when there are no more thread gaps.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer is applied between the individual strength members, the above-mentioned variants also being used.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer has a minimum melting point of 75 ° C and a maximum melting point of 170 ° C.
  • the advantageous materials in relation to the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer are: An olefinic plastic is used, especially based on polyethylene or polypropylene. The reinforcement is twisted around with the olefinic plastic or the olefinic plastic is applied directly to the reinforcement.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer consists of a TPE (TPE-S, TPE-O, TPE-V) and a hydrocarbon resin, in particular an aromatic hydrocarbon resin, and, if appropriate, from further additives.
  • the hydrocarbon resin content is 2 to 50% by weight, in particular 5 to 30% by weight.

  • the hydrocarbon resin content here is 2 to 50% by weight, in particular 5 to 30% by weight.
  • a further component in the form of a functionalized polymer is preferably added to the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer.
  • This additional component is a maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene or a similarly grafted polypropylene or an acrylate copolymer functionalized with polar CO groups or epoxy groups.
  • the proportion of the functionalized polymer is 0.5 to 20% by weight, in particular 2 to 10% by weight.
  • the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer is a hydrocarbon resin, in particular an aromatic hydrocarbon resin.
  • the hydrocarbon resin has a softening point of 75 ° C to 145 ° C, in particular 100 ° C to 145 ° C.
  • the above data in% by weight relate to the total mass of the adhesion-promoting intermediate layer.
