Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hearing aid with a microphone and an electromagnetic receiver as an input transducer, a receiver as an output transducer, wherein the microphone acoustic feedback and to the electromagnetic receiver or a downstream electrical component results in an electromagnetic feedback, a signal processing device, between the Input converter and the output transducer is connected, and an adaptive compensation device, which is connected to the signal processing device and having a single adaptive filter, for the compensation of the acoustic feedback.
- the weighted combination of two microphone signals MS1 and MS2 is known by microphones M1 and M2.
- the influence of an acoustic interference signal on the reception of a directional microphone system can be suppressed depending on the direction.
- an amplifier device which has two separate compensation paths in addition to an amplifier device which has an acoustic and an inductive input.
- a first filter device acts to compensate for an acoustic feedback
- a second filter device acts to compensate for an inductive feedback.
- the object of the present invention is to improve or simplify a hearing aid device with a microphone and an electromagnetic receiver as an input transducer in listening comfort.
- this object is achieved by a hearing aid device with a microphone and an electromagnetic receiver as an input signal converter, a receiver as an output transducer, wherein the microphone acoustic feedback and to the electromagnetic receiver or a downstream electrical component results in an electromagnetic feedback, a signal processing device, the is connected between the input transducer and the output transducer, and an adaptive compensation device, which is connected to the signal processing device and having a single adaptive filter, for the compensation of the acoustic feedback, wherein the compensation means serves at the same time for the compensation of the electromagnetic feedback and between the electromagnetic receiver and the signal processing device is connected to a delay element.
- This can ensure that both the acoustic feedback and the electromagnetic feedback are compensated by a simple adaptive filter.
- a weighting device is also connected in the hearing aid device with the common adaptive filter for compensation of the acoustic and electromagnetic feedback between the input transducer and the signal processing device, so that the signals of the input transducer are individually weighted. This can be achieved in all operating modes (microphone operation, coil operation or mixed operation) always a compensation with simple means.
- an adder may be connected in front of the signal processing means to add the weighted signals. This means that the weighted input signals of the input signal converters are merged before further signal processing.
- the compensation means may comprise a timer whose delay corresponds to the propagation time of the acoustic feedback signal, the delay through the delay element between the electromagnetic receiver and the signal processing means corresponding to the difference between the durations of the acoustic and electromagnetic feedback signals. This allows the adaptive filter to be kept short in digital signal processing.
- the signal of a loudspeaker L of the hearing aid is fed back via an acoustic feedback path R1 with the corresponding transfer function h1 to the microphone M of the hearing aid.
- an electromagnetic signal of the loudspeaker L is fed back to a telecoil T via an electromagnetic feedback path R2 having the corresponding transfer function h2.
- the input signal converters M and T output corresponding output signals.
- the output signal of the microphone M is weighted in a weighting unit G1 with the weighting factor a, while the output signal of the telephone coil T is weighted in a weighting unit G2 with the weighting factor b.
- the input signal of the loudspeaker L is passed via a first timer T1 to an adaptive filter AF1 with the variable transfer function h1.
- the output signal of the adaptive Filter AF1 is subtracted from the weighted microphone signal in a first subtractor S1.
- the output signal of the subtracter S1 is used inter alia for the adaptation of the filter AF1.
- the output signal of the adaptive filter AF2 is subtracted from the weighted signal of the telecoil T by means of a second subtracter S2. Again, the output signal of the subtracter S2 is used to adapt the second adaptation filter AF2.
- the electrical feedback between listener or loudspeaker L and microphone coil or telecoil T is therefore compensated in the same way as the acoustic feedback by the transmission path between loudspeaker L and telecoil T being modeled by an adaptive filter AF2 and subtracting the listener signal weighted with this filter AF2 from the coil output becomes.
- the "switchover" between microphone and coil operation can be controlled by a (telephone) classifier. This detects whether the microphone M and / or the telecoil T useful signals - in most cases language - and then automatically switches, if necessary, seamlessly into the intended operation, eg. B. pure microphone operation, pure coil operation or mixed operation.
- a (telephone) classifier This detects whether the microphone M and / or the telecoil T useful signals - in most cases language - and then automatically switches, if necessary, seamlessly into the intended operation, eg. B. pure microphone operation, pure coil operation or mixed operation.
- FIG. 2 An embodiment of the present invention is in FIG. 2 outlined.
- the basic structure of the hearing aid with loudspeaker L, microphone M, telecoil T and signal processing SV corresponds to that of the embodiment of FIG. 1 , Consequently, the acoustic feedback path R1 having the transfer function h1 and the electromagnetic feedback path R2 having the transfer function h2 also exist.
- the output signals of microphone M and telecoil T are also weighted here by the weighting units G1 and G2 by the factors a and b. Between the telecoil T and the associated weighting unit G2, a timer T4 is additionally provided here in order to take account of the slower acoustic feedback. After weighting in the weighting units G1 and G2, the two signals are added in an adder A2.
- the input signal of the loudspeaker L is fed back via a compensation path which has a timer T3 and an adaptive filter AF3.
- the adaptive filter AF3 has the transfer function h.
- the output signal of the adaptive filter AF3 is subtracted in a subtractor S3 from the output signal of the adder A2.
- the output signal of the subtracter S3 is supplied to the signal processor SV, whose output signal feeds the loudspeaker L.
- the compensation of the acoustic and electromagnetic feedback signals is thus effected here by the common, adaptive filter AF3.
- the timer T3 should be responsive to either the value of the timer T1 or the timer T2 of the example of FIG. 1 be set.
- the time delay in timer T4 remains 0.
- the adaptive filter AF3 can simultaneously adapt to both signal paths.
- T4 T1 - T2 must be set, so that the coil signal is delayed by the greater acoustic propagation time (T1> T2).

Description
- FIG 1
- FIG 2
FIG 2 skizziert.
FIG 1 gesetzt werden.
