Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sliding door for a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a lock arrangement for the sliding door of a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 19.
- sliding door all components which are necessary for the functionality of a sliding door are combined under the term "sliding door". These include, in addition to the displaceable component, the corresponding frame provided in the motor vehicle body, possibly existing guide rails, etc.
- the term “sliding door” is used interchangeably with the term “displaceable component” where it is used for easy readability. Sliding doors have long been used for vans and vans, and more recently for passenger cars. All sliding doors have in common that they are adjustable by a sliding movement in an open and in a closed position. This sliding movement takes place substantially parallel to the side wall of the motor vehicle. Particularly advantageous is the fact that an undisturbed loading and unloading or getting in and out is possible.
- the additional lock arrangement counteracts an adjustment of the sliding door in the opening direction, ie substantially along the direction of travel.
- the main lock assembly has the usual closure elements latch and pawl, while the additional lock assembly is realized by a simple hook.
- the main lock assembly takes up most of the holding force required to fix the sliding door in the closed position.
- a disadvantage of the known sliding door is the fact that the ease of use is comparatively low. This is, inter alia, that a fixation of the sliding door in the open position is not provided.
- Another well-known sliding door ( DE 2 347 702 A1 ) has, in addition to a main lock assembly on a fixing arrangement by which the sliding door can be fixed in the open position.
- the fixing arrangement is arranged with a pivotable pin which is arranged on the displaceable part of the sliding door and which, when the sliding door is moved into the open position, engages in a hook-shaped formation and thus prevents a return movement of the sliding door.
- a known sliding door ( GB 2 210 339 A ), which has a main lock assembly for fixing the sliding door in the closed position and a fixing arrangement for fixing the sliding door in the open position.
- the main lock assembly simultaneously assumes the function of the fixing, whereby the design effort is reduced.
- this does not lead to an optimal solution with regard to the structural design of the components involved, since the holding forces are considerably lower when the sliding door is in the open position than in the sliding door located in the closed position.
- the present invention is based on the problem, the known sliding door for a motor vehicle in such a way and further, that a secure fixation of the sliding door in the closed position with maximum ease of use with minimal design effort is guaranteed.
- the additional lock assembly is not only the support of the main lock assembly in the fixation of the sliding door in the closed position, but that the sliding door is further fixed by the additional lock assembly in the open position. This ensures on the one hand a secure fixation of the sliding door in the closed position. On the other hand, the fixing of the sliding door is ensured in the open position, with minimal design effort.
- the additional lock assembly for fixing the sliding door in the closed position on the one hand and for the fixation of the sliding door in the open position on the other hand compared with the main lock assembly does not need to be particularly strong.
- the sliding door can be interpreted in an optimal manner so that oversizing is largely avoided. This generally leads to a reduction in production costs
- the preferred embodiment according to claim 5 with a latch which has a first fork-shaped formation and a second fork-shaped formation, leads to a particularly simple and at the same time compact construction.
- the further preferred embodiment according to claim 10 ensures a particularly simple structural design, since the pawl only on a single paragraph - latch - the latch attacks, the detent position of the latch is located in the open position sliding door and located in the closed position sliding door respectively identical.
- Fig. 1 shows a motor vehicle, which is equipped with the sliding door according to the invention.
- the sliding door can be adjusted by a sliding movement in an open and in a closed position and thus closes a loading and unloading the motor vehicle.
- the sliding door is rail-guided, as will be explained in more detail below. But it can also be chosen other constructive solutions to realize the desired movement kinematics of the sliding door.
- the sliding door is equipped with a main lock assembly 1 by which the sliding door can be fixed in the closed position.
- a main lock assembly 1 by which the sliding door can be fixed in the closed position.
- an additional lock assembly 2 is provided to support the main lock assembly 1 in the fixation of the sliding door in the closed position. It is essential that the additional lock assembly 2 is further configured such that the sliding door through the auxiliary lock assembly 2 in the open position ( Fig. 2 ) is fixable.
- the main lock assembly 1 is in the Fig. 1 to 3 indicated only schematically.
- the main lock assembly 1 preferably has the usual closing elements lock catch and pawl, which cooperate in the usual way with a closing wedge o.
- the main lock assembly 1 but many other variants are conceivable. On the specific design of the main lock assembly 1 is not important for the present teaching.
- the additional lock assembly 2 is designed so that it can absorb forces perpendicular to the direction of travel in the sliding door located in the closed position. This means in the first place perpendicular to the sliding door from the inside out acting forces. Such a configuration is particularly advantageous for cases in which objects or people bouncing against the door while driving. The additional lock arrangement 2 then counteracts the unwanted opening of the sliding door.
- the main lock assembly 1 on the one hand and the auxiliary lock assembly 2 on the other hand are arranged on the sliding door.
- the main lock arrangement 1 is arranged in a vertical direction in the middle region of the sliding door
- the additional lock arrangement 2 is seen in a vertical direction in the lower area or in the upper area of the sliding door Sliding door is arranged.
- both the main lock arrangement 1 and the additional lock arrangement 2 can be arranged in a vertical direction in the middle region of the sliding door.
- the additional lock assembly 2 has an engagement module 3, a first engagement member 4a and a second engagement member 4b, wherein the engagement module 3 comes in the open position in engagement with the first engagement member 4a in the adjustment of the sliding door 1 and thereby the sliding door 1 in the fixed in the open position ( Fig. 2 ). In the adjustment of the sliding door 1 in the closed position, the engagement module 3 then comes into engagement with the second engagement member 4b, whereby the sliding door 1 is fixed in the closed position.
- the additional lock assembly 2 the main lock assembly 1 is supported in the fixation of the sliding door in the closed position.
- the first engagement member 4a of the auxiliary lock assembly 2 can also take over the function of the closing wedge of the main lock assembly 1.
- the representation according to Fig. 2 as well as the representations according to the 4 to 6 show a particularly preferred embodiment of the engagement module 3 of the auxiliary lock assembly 2.
- the latch 6 is between an open position ( Fig. 6 ) and a detent position ( Fig. 4, 5 ) adjustable and is held by the pawl 7 in the locked position.
- the lock catch 6 allows engagement with the first engagement element 4a on the one hand and the second engagement element 4b on the other hand.
- the lock catch 6 is provided with a first fork-shaped recess 6a for engagement with the first engagement element 4a and with a second fork-shaped formation 6b for engagement with the second engagement element 4b.
- the two fork-shaped formations open towards opposite directions and extend in opposite directions.
- the pivot axis 5 of the latch 6 is preferably arranged between the two fork-shaped formations 6a, 6b.
- the latch 6 is thus configured substantially H-shaped, as the representations in the 4 to 6 can be seen. It can also be seen from these illustrations that both fork-shaped formations 6a, 6b each have two fork arms of different lengths. The particular advantage of this embodiment will become apparent from the following explanation of the operation of the engagement module 3.
- the first engagement element 4a engages the first fork-shaped formation 6a (FIG. Fig. 6 ) and presses the latch in the Fig. 4 illustrated detent position.
- the second engaging member 4b comes into engagement with the second fork-shaped formation 6b and pushes the latch 6 again in the locked position.
- the lock latch 6 also pivots to the right, so that the pivoting of the latch 6 takes place during the adjustment of the sliding door in the open position and in the closed position in the same pivoting direction.
- the latch 6 results in respect of the two engagement elements 4a, 4b a completely symmetrical operation of the latch 6.
- the latch 6 is designed with respect to its pivot axis 5 substantially point-symmetrical. This can in particular bring manufacturing advantages.
- the locking of the latch 6 in the locked position is in the in the 4 to 6 illustrated and so far preferred embodiment particularly simple and compact.
- the latch 6 has a catch in the form of a shoulder 8, said shoulder 8 is arranged on a fork arm of one of the two fork-shaped formations 6a, 6b.
- the pawl 7 can be brought by pivoting about its pivot axis 9 in engagement with and disengaged from the latch 6.
- two notches can be provided here, for example, to realize a pre-rest and a main catch, as is common in the known side door locks.
- latch 6 is the only latch 6 of the engagement module 3.
- the pivot axis 5 of the latch 6 is aligned substantially vertically. It may also be advantageous to align the pivot axis 5 of the latch 6 substantially horizontally.
- the engagement elements 4a, 4b can be configured, for example, as a striker, as a latch bolt or the like.
- the lock latch 6 described above with two fork-shaped formations 6a, 6b represents a particularly simple design option for realizing the above-described double function of the additional lock arrangement 2.
- Particularly advantageous is the fact that the movement of the latch 6 and the pawl 7 during closing and when opening the sliding door are identical.
- the latch 6 is preferably biased in its open position against a stop 6c.
- the pawl 7 is preferably biased. In the in the 4 to 6 illustrated embodiment, a bias of the pawl 7 is provided in the incident position.
- the springs 10, 11 assigned for the respective bias of the latch 6 on the one hand and the pawl 7 on the other hand.
- the sliding door is guided in an inner guide rail 13 and has a roller arrangement 14 for this purpose.
- the caster assembly 14 has two lateral guide rollers 15, 16 and another roller 17 for exempting the weight of the sliding member 12 of the sliding door.
- the guide rail 13 is arranged in the lower region of the loading and unloading.
- the same guide rail 13 may be provided in the upper region of the loading and unloading.
- An outer guide rail 18 is preferably arranged on the outside of the vehicle body, which ensures stability, in particular during the adjustment of the sliding door into the open position.
- the coupling between the displaceable component 12 of the sliding door and the outer guide rail 18 is preferably via a pivot member 19th
- the inner guide rail 13 has a portion bent toward the vehicle interior, which allows the "sliding" of the sliding part 12 of the sliding door so that the closed sliding door is initially flush with the vehicle body on one side.
- the pivot member 19 provides the desired flush termination by swinging in accordance with the adjustment of the sliding door in the closed position accordingly.
- the main lock assembly 1 is activated accordingly, so that it ensures a fixation of the sliding door in the closed position. Due to the above-described, curved configuration of the inner guide rail 13, the roller assembly 14 must be pivotally coupled to the sliding part 12 of the sliding door about a pivot axis 20. This results from the synopsis of FIGS. 2 and 3 ,
- the engagement module 3 and the roller assembly 14 are arranged together on a support member 21, wherein on the support member 21 of the sliding part 12 of the sliding door is attached.
- the engagement module 3 has two inlet slots 22 for the two engagement elements 4a, 4b.
- the pawl 7 of the auxiliary lock assembly 2 dig and thus release the sliding door.
- the pawl 7 of the engagement module 3 via a Bowden cable 23 can be raised and this coupled to the soul 24 of the Bowden cable 23. This allows a space-saving and flexible arrangement of the engagement module. 3
- the additional lock assembly 2 is actuated by a motor and that for this purpose the pawl 7 of the engagement module 3 by a drive motor can be raised.
- the drive is equipped with a corresponding drive motor 25. The drive can, as in Fig. 7 shown, over the Bowden cable 23 with the pawl 7 are engaged.
- the drive next to the drive motor 25 has an actuating element 26, and that the actuating element 26 for motorized lifting of the pawl 7 in engagement with the pawl 7 can be brought.
- actuating element 26 for motorized lifting of the pawl 7 in engagement with the pawl 7 can be brought. This is schematically in Fig. 8 shown.
- the drive comprises a drive motor 25 which is coupled to the motorized lifting of the pawl 7 via a flexible traction means 27, preferably via a cable with the pawl 7.
- the cable 27 is wound directly onto the drive shaft of the drive motor 25.
- the main lock assembly 1 is preferably equipped with a lock mechanism, not shown, for the realization of various functional states.
- Such functional states are, for example, the locking function CL known for side-door locks, anti-theft function DL or child-safety function CS.
- the additional lock assembly 2 is then preferably connected to the lock mechanism of the main lock assembly 1.
- the main lock assembly 1 includes, so to speak, the "intelligence" of the sliding door, while the additional lock assembly 2 has only the closure elements described above.
- the Hauptschschitzanordmmg 1 as described above in connection with the additional lock assembly 2 may be designed to be motor-actuated. It is also conceivable that only a single drive for the motorized operation of both the main lock assembly 1 and the auxiliary lock assembly 2 is provided. The two lock assemblies 1, 2 can then be connected to each other, for example via a Bowden cable drive technology.
- the sliding door is opened from the closed position, first the additional lock arrangement 2 and then the main lock arrangement 1 opens.
- the reason for this order is that jamming of the auxiliary lock assembly 2 should be avoided.
- This Verklemmne Trent arises from the fact that the additional lock assembly 2 is usually not designed to accommodate the entire holding force of the sliding door located in the closed position, so that at too early opening of the main lock assembly 1 to a slight deformation of the additional lock assembly 2, and so that a corresponding deadlock can occur.
- the sliding door is preferably provided for the operation of an outside door handle 28 and a door inner handle, not shown. It is also conceivable, however, an exclusively electrical operation, for example via a remote control o.

Description
The present invention relates to a sliding door for a motor vehicle according to the preamble of
In the present case, all components which are necessary for the functionality of a sliding door are combined under the term "sliding door". These include, in addition to the displaceable component, the corresponding frame provided in the motor vehicle body, possibly existing guide rails, etc. In the following, the term "sliding door" is used interchangeably with the term "displaceable component" where it is used for easy readability.
Numerous variants are known for the structural implementation of the movement kinematics of a sliding door. This includes, for example, the principle of the rail guide, which is possibly supplemented by a lever arrangement. In the present case, it does not depend on the specific structural realization of the motion kinematics. Rather, the solution according to the invention is applicable to all conceivable constructions. It also does not matter in the present case, where the sliding door is arranged on the motor vehicle, so that both laterally and rearwardly arranged on the motor vehicle sliding doors are included.
In particular, in the use of sliding doors for cars wins ensuring a secure fixation of the sliding door in the closed position increasingly important. An unintentional opening of the sliding door, for example by a force acting from the inside perpendicular to the sliding door force here leads to significant dangers to the occupants of the motor vehicle.
At the same time, the requirements for ease of use are steadily increasing. This includes, for example, the function of fixing the sliding door in the open position, so that the sliding door does not automatically close during loading and unloading or when entering and exiting. This function is especially necessary when the motor vehicle is so on a slope that pushes the weight of the sliding door in the closing direction.

The present invention is based on the problem, the known sliding door for a motor vehicle in such a way and further, that a secure fixation of the sliding door in the closed position with maximum ease of use with minimal design effort is guaranteed.
The above problem is solved by a sliding door for a motor vehicle according to the preamble of
It is essential to consider that the additional lock assembly is not only the support of the main lock assembly in the fixation of the sliding door in the closed position, but that the sliding door is further fixed by the additional lock assembly in the open position. This ensures on the one hand a secure fixation of the sliding door in the closed position. On the other hand, the fixing of the sliding door is ensured in the open position, with minimal design effort.
Dies führt generell zu einer Reduzierung der Herstellungskosten,Particularly advantageous is the fact that the additional lock assembly for fixing the sliding door in the closed position on the one hand and for the fixation of the sliding door in the open position on the other hand compared with the main lock assembly does not need to be particularly strong. As a result, the sliding door can be interpreted in an optimal manner so that oversizing is largely avoided. This generally leads to a reduction in production costs,
The preferred embodiment according to
The further preferred embodiment according to
A further increase in the ease of use can be achieved by the embodiment according to
According to another teaching, which has independent significance, a lock assembly for the sliding door of a motor vehicle is claimed, which corresponds to the above additional lock assembly. Reference may be made to the above statements.

The
An optimal distribution of the holding forces results from the fact that when in the closed position sliding door, the main lock assembly. 1 and the
There are several variants conceivable, at which height the
It may be noted that, in principle, with appropriate arrangement and design of the

With the above embodiment of the
In principle, it may be provided that a plurality of preferably parallel to each other arranged

Numerous variants are conceivable for the design of the
The
It has already been pointed out that in the present case any structural realization of the movement kinematics of the sliding door, in particular of the
In order to achieve a stable arrangement, according to an advantageous embodiment, the
The
Finally, it should be pointed out that the
In principle, the
In any case, it is in any case the case that when the sliding door is opened from the closed position, first the
