  11. An ironing appliance according to any one of claims 7 to 10, characterized in that said arcuate clip incorporates side abutments (41) that are positioned on either side of the front tip of the iron when the arcuate clip (4) is in the unlocked position.
  12. An ironing appliance according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that said rest surface (21) for receiving the iron slopes relative to the bottom surface (20) of the base (2).
