Claims (10)

  1. A pressing iron comprising a housing (1) with an opening into which a cord (3) penetrates, said opening receiving a cord guiding device (6) reinforcing the cord (3) at the outlet of the housing (1) of the pressing iron to limit the bending of the cord, said cord guiding device (6) comprising a body (60) enveloping the cord (3) at the outlet of the pressing iron and mobile guiding means (61) that enables to vary the length at which the cord (3) is maintained, characterised in that said guiding means (61) is supported by the body (60) enveloping the cord (3) and can occupy a retracted position in which it is substantially integrated into the body (60) and a deployed position in which the guiding means protrudes outside the body (60).
  2. A pressing iron according to claim 1, characterised in that said mobile guiding means (61) is brought to the deployed position by spring means (66).
  3. A pressing iron according to claim 2, characterised in that said cord guiding device (6) includes locking means (67A) to maintain the mobile guiding means (61) in the retracted position, said locking means (67A) being associated with an unlocking button (67).
  4. A pressing iron according to claim 3, characterised in that the body (60) of the cord guiding device (6) is pivotally mounted on the pressing iron and in that the unlocking button (67) is actuated automatically when the body (60) is titled backwards.
  5. A pressing iron according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the mobile guiding means (61) is flexible.
  6. A pressing iron according to claim 5, characterised in that the body (60) of the cord guiding device (6) has greater stiffness than the stiffness of the mobile guiding means(61).
  7. A pressing iron according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that said guiding means (61) moves in translation with respect to the body (60) of the cord guiding device (6).
  8. A pressing iron according to claim 7, characterised in that said mobile guiding means (61) is made up of an extension moving inside the body (60) of the cord guiding device to form a telescopic cord guide.
  9. A pressing iron according to claim 8, characterised in that the body (60) of the cord guiding device and the extension (61) are slightly conical.
  10. A pressing iron according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that said cord (3) is a power supply cord of the pressing iron.
