Claims (12)
- Iron with an iron shoe (1) having a heating facility (2) and an iron sole (3), which has a sliding surface (5) which comes into contact with an item to be ironed and which is fastened to the iron shoe (1) on the side which faces away from the sliding surface (5),
characterised in that- a pin (7) is embodied on the iron sole (3), which is guided through a through channel (9) of the iron shoe (1) and has a free end (11) protruding from the iron shoe (1), said end being bent in order to fasten the iron sole (3) to the iron shoe (1);- the pin (7) has a disk-shaped head (13), with which the pin (7) is fastened to the iron sole (3);- the disk-shaped head (13) of the pin (7) is arranged in a corresponding depression (15) of the iron shoe (1);- and that the pin (7) is guided in a form-fit and heated manner through the through channel (9) of the iron shoe (1) until it reaches deformability. - Iron according to claim 1, characterised in that the disk-shaped head (13) of the pin (7) has a minimum diameter of 5 to 6 mm.
- Iron according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a gap (s) is embodied between the disk-shaped head (13) of the pin (7) and a base of the depression (15).
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the free pin end (11) protrudes at least 10 mm out of the iron shoe (1).
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one pin (7) is arranged in the area of an iron tip and/or in the area of an iron end in each case.
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pin (7) consists of metal.
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pin (7) consists of aluminium.
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a coating (17) is provided on the side (5) coming into contact with the item to be ironed.
- Iron according to claim 8, characterised in that the coating (17) is an enamel coating.
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the heating facility (2) is an electric heating facility.
- Iron according to one of the preceding claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the heating facility (2) is an air heater.
- Method for manufacturing an iron with an iron shoe (1) having a heating facility (2) and an iron sole (3), which has a sliding surface (5) which comes into contact with an item to be ironed and which is connected to the iron shoe (1) on the side which faces away from the sliding surface (5),
characterised in that,- the iron sole (3) is embodied with a pin (7);- the pin (7) has a disk-shaped head (13), with which the pin (7) is fastened to the iron sole (3);- the disk-shaped head (13) of the pin (7) is arranged in a corresponding depression (15) in the iron shoe (1);- and the pin (7) is guided in a form-fit and heated manner through a through channel (9) of the iron shoe (1) until it reaches deformability and the free end (11) of which protruding from the iron shoe (1) is bent in order to connect the iron sole (3) to the iron shoe (1).
