Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for separating sheet-like, sheet-like elements, in particular printing plates to be exposed, from a stack of such elements, preferably for automatically loading a printing platesetter.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for separating sheet-like, sheet-like elements, in particular of printing plates to be exposed, from a stack of such elements, preferably for an automatic loading device for a printing platesetter, with an organ for detecting the stack in the upper or front element at least in the course of an edge, preferably for carrying out the aforementioned method.
In particular, for the automatic loading of a printing platesetter, preferably for the exposure of printing plates for use in an offset printing machine, but also in other storage areas, sheet-like, flat elements are stored in a stack, be it flat overlying or against each other and standing. Irrespective of the surface condition, surface adhesions of successive elements are usually the result, with the respective surface condition still being able to promote adhesions or even adhesions. For a charging process, however, such elements usually have to be singulated one after the other, that is, each time separated from the stack. This must be done reliably, should not occur in the subsequent step faults. For an automatic charging process, the reliable separation, such as the charging process itself, should also be ensured by the automatism itself, without the need for monitoring or intervention by an operator, which would break through the automatism and call it into question altogether.
This required reliability is not satisfactorily realized especially in so-called autoloaders for platesetter and therefore a problem.
The invention is based on the object, in a method or a device of the type mentioned, the reliability, preferably inexpensively and with relatively simple means or conversion measures to improve.
This object is achieved in method according to the invention in that when separating the top of the stack or front element from the stack of this stacked from the stack element in a peripheral area, bulged, bulged or otherwise bent out.
It is essential that the surface adhesion of the abzunehmenden element on the next element is broken and broken locally over a section in the edge course, so that this disorder easily propagates with advantage in further weight loss. In an attempt to uniformly or centrally detecting the sheet member, an air pressure would form, which promotes the adhesion and reinforced and thus opposes a further separation of the element. However, if, as provided by the invention, the edge contour of the abzunehmenden element bulged, it comes to local distortions or wrinkles, which disturb the tendency to attach in a favorable manner.
A development of the method according to the invention provides that the separation of the detected element is supported and reinforced by air is blown between the abzutrennende element and the stack from the abutting edge of the notched edge.
Preferably, according to the invention, the entire stack is ventilated transversely to the abutting edges of the elements. The elements are preferably placed against each other to form a stack, wherein the elements are each detected at its lower edge for separating and are preferably also ventilated from below by the stack is placed on one or more ventilation slots.
An inventive device of the type mentioned is characterized in an independent solution of the problem by the fact that the Erfasungsorgan is designed such that the detected edge of the detected element arched at least in one section. The advantages resulting therefrom according to the invention have already been described analogously in connection with the method according to the invention.
In principle, the most diverse detection elements are conceivable, which could be arranged or designed such that the local interference occurring in the method according to the invention is realized. For example, hook-like claws, clamps, frictional fingers or lugs or the like are conceivable.
Often suction elements are provided for detecting and lifting sheet-like elements, which could be present in various arrangements or numbers. Especially when using such suction elements can, as provided according to a development of the device according to the invention, the invention with simple means and few changes reliably be realized by at least one of the suction elements is further spaced from the surface of the element to be sucked than other of the suction elements. Up to this farther suction element, the suction path, which is covered by the element, larger, so that automatically at this point a bulge or bulge in the element results because the element at other, more or less adjacent suction elements rather abuts and therefore forced must bend. It is already sufficient for a few millimeters path difference mostly. This path difference can be achieved in a structurally particularly and surprisingly simple and cost-effective manner, for example, by the fact that only one washer is used less in the spaced-apart suction element, so that it is omitted as a spacer.
At least one air blowing element according to the invention is preferably positioned in relation to the expected bulging region of the element to be detected, that is to say, for example, a spaced-apart suction element. It can also be arranged further air blowing organs there or in the wider environment.
A further development of the invention provides that the at least one air blowing element extends over the entire depth of the stack and aerates it and thus prepares and supports a separability of the elements in the entire stack.

- a section through the stack of FIG. 1 along the dot-dash line indicated in Fig. 1 II - II.
Figures 1 and 2 show schematically, not to scale and only by way of example once in Fig. 1 is a bottom view with a view according to the in Fig. 2 with I - I designated dash-dotted line and once in Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along in FIG II - II designated dot-dash line of a stack of printing plates to be exposed 1,1 '. The pressure plate designated by 1 'is in each case the upper or in the stationary stack, the front plate of the stack, which is shown at the beginning of their separation process in their acceptance and solution from the stack.
For the separation and detection of the pressure plate, a
As shown in particular Fig. 1, this leads to the portion of the pressure plate 1 ', which is detected by the
