Abstract

The device has a flat sheet that is made of cardboard and with a hooking unit (2) hooked to a pin of a display pack. Two slits (4) are disposed in a vertical position. The slits have the length so that an exercise book protector is arranged on both sides of the sheet and contacts sides of the plate to temporarily integrate the book for being displayed for sales, when the device is suspended from the pin of the display pack.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for the exhibition for sale of a notebook or similar article, able to be temporarily secured to this article and to be suspended from a pin of a display.

Devices of this general type have already been proposed in the art.

This is how, in FR-A-2,724,149 , a packaging for a booklet protector as defined in the preamble of claim 1 made of a sheet of rigid and foldable material such as cardboard, which comprises at its upper part a means of attachment to a suspension spindle, a display and whose lower part is adapted to be engaged in the manner of a notebook cover in inner folds of the notebook guard, to support it.

The manual placement of parts of this packaging in internal folds of the notebook guard is however an impractical operation, especially since the packaging also preferably includes a flap intended to be positioned on an outer face of the cover. notebook.

The present invention also aims to provide a device for the exhibition for sale of notepads or similar articles, which can be made of a semi-rigid material such as cardboard and which also comprises a hooking means to a brooch of a display stand, but which can be rendered temporarily secured to a booklet protector in a much easier way than the device mentioned above, since it does not have parts intended to be engaged inside folds of the inner faces of the notebook cover.

For this purpose, the invention relates to a device for the exhibition for sale of a notebook or similar article, able to be temporarily secured to such an article and to be suspended from a pin a display device, this device comprising at least one flat plate made of a semi-rigid material such as cardboard, shaped so as to have a means of attachment to a pin of a display rack, this device being characterized in that at least one slot is formed in the flat plate in a position such that when the device is suspended from the display pin, this slot is disposed in a substantially vertical position, this slot having a length sufficient for the booklet protector or a part thereof can be engaged so as to be disposed on either side of the plate, in contact with each of sides of it, so as to be temporarily secured for sale.

Advantageously, two slots are formed in the flat plate and define there a longitudinal strip adjoining its ends to the remainder of the plate and for engaging the cover-guard or a part thereof between this strip and the flat plate which it comes out, in order to pinch the notebook guard between this band and the rest of the plate.

The attachment means of the device may advantageously be formed in a portion of the plate disposed at the upper portion thereof in the use position and, for example, in the extension of the strip, if it has one. This hooking means may consist of a simple circular light formed in the plate, at the upper part of the device in the position of use thereof, and in which may be engaged by sliding the pin of the display, or by a recurved cutout starting from a lateral edge of the body and possibly resulting in such a light, in order to easily disconnect the spindle device and the booklet that it supports, or by a hook portion.

In the case where the device comprises slots which define a band in the plate, these slots can be parallel to each other. They can also be slightly divergent and then be rectilinear or curved.

Before the establishment of the notebook protector in the display device for sale, the slot or slots may be formed possibly simple lines of rupture primer, which is broken at the time of use.

With the device according to the invention, the notebook or similar that it supports is exposed in a particularly simple manner with regard to potential buyers and the surface of the device facing the outside may include various impressions, including references of the manufacturer, the characteristics of the exposed notebook cover and / or advertising slogans intended to attract the public's attention.

In a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, intended to allow the prospective purchaser to open the notebook cover for sale and thus have access to the various internal arrangements it comprises, the device comprises advantageously two identical flat plates, hinged together by a fold line intended to come into contact with the hinge line of the two cover portions of the book cover, each of these plates comprising a similar attachment means and at least one slot in each flat plate, the two slots being oriented in the same direction as the fold line, so as to engage respectively in the slot of each plate part of the cover of the notebook to support this part, thus allowing to prospective buyers of the notebook protector to open it without separating it from the display device for sale.

Advantageously, as described above, each plate of this embodiment may comprise two slots, which, in the use position of the device, are substantially parallel to the hinge line of the two cover portions of the book cover, each plate thus having a band defined by the two corresponding slots, in order to be able to engage between this band and the rest of the plate a cover portion of the book cover.

These embodiments with two plates hinged together are particularly well suited to the case where the folder protects a part forming a closed storage pocket on three of its sides and hinged to the front cover portion of the book cover and / or on the rear cover portion thereof by a fold line parallel to the joint formed between these two parts of the folder protector, this pouch can thus receive separate documents of the notebook equipped with this folder, as described in the request French Patent No. 04.11517 , of which the Applicant holds. Indeed, each cover portion may be engaged as previously in a slot of a plate of the device, or between the strip of a plate and the remainder of this plate, while the cover associated with this portion of the cover of the cover notebook can be folded towards the inside thereof, against the portion of the corresponding portion of the display device for sale turned towards the inside of the book cover, the assembly thus presenting an appearance particularly attractive when it is displayed for sale or when the customer opens the folder in this position.

Preferably, in all these embodiments, the part of the plate or plates of the device opposite to the hooking means, that is to say the part which in the position of use of the device is at the bottom of it is articulated on the rest of the plate by a fold line perpendicular to the slot or slits it comprises and is located substantially at the corresponding end of this or these slots, to be able to fold this portion so as to support the lower portion of the suspended copybook or part of it.

We will first refer to the figure 1 a .

The exposure device for sale represented in this figure comprises a plate 1 made of cardboard or a similar semi-rigid material (microcorrugated corrugated cardboard or the like), of rectangular shape here, at one end of which is formed a cutout curved 2, starting from a longitudinal edge of the plate 1 and ending in a circular light 3, disposed substantially at the same distance from the two longitudinal edges and in which can be engaged a suspension pin of a display stand for sale . One could naturally use a single light such as 3, without side cut 2, but it facilitates the stall of the device of the pin to which it is suspended.

According to the invention, at least one slot 4, here parallel to the longitudinal edges of the plate 1, is cut therein and has a sufficient length to be able to engage a book cover, a part thereof or a analogous article, which is thus disposed on either side of the plate 1, in partial contact with each of the faces thereof, so as to be exposed for sale in solidarity with the plate, when it is suspended at a brooch of a display stand.

In the case of figure 1 b , where the organs already described with reference to the figure 1 a are designated by the same reference numbers, the plate 1 has two slots 4 parallel to its longitudinal edges, here equidistant from them, to define there a strip 5, whose ends are connected to the rest of the plate 1.

To put on sale a notebook guard 6 in a simple way using this device, it suffices (see figure 2 ) to engage this notebook protector, for example of flexible plastic material, between the band 5 and the rest of the plate 1 and to suspend the device by the light 3 to the pin of an exposure device. It is clear that one would not depart from the scope of the invention by using this device to display for sale articles other than a notebook, for example notebooks or other stationery, sheets of material soft plastic, etc ...

In both embodiments illustrated by the figures 1 a and 1b , the part 7 of the opposite plate 1 of the attachment system 2, 3, that is to say the lower part of this plate in the use position, is articulated on the rest thereof by a fold line 8 perpendicular to the slot (s) 4 and passing substantially at the lower end of these slots. It is thus possible to fold this part 7 upwards, so as to grip the lower part of the folder or a part of it for better support.

In the case of a notebook guard, the embodiment that comes to be described has the disadvantage of not allowing the opening thereof without removing the exposure device for sale, which is naturally impractical, when these items are exposed in large areas.

The embodiments represented on the figures 3 a , 3b , 4 and 5, which are also made of cardboard or a similar semi-rigid material, do not have this disadvantage.

In these embodiments, the device according to the invention comprises two rectangular plates 11 and 11 'similar to the part 1 described above, which are articulated together by a fold line 10 coincides with a longitudinal edge of each of the parts 11 and 11 'and intended to come into contact with the hinge line of the cover portions of the associated notebook cover, on the outside thereof.

As previously, each plate 11 and 11 'comprises, in positions symmetrical with respect to the line 10, in the open position of the device, a curved cutout, respectively 12 and 12', resulting in a circular opening, respectively 13 and 13 ', and either a slot parallel to its longitudinal edges, respectively 14 and 14 '( figure 3 a ), that is two slots 14 and two slots 14 ', respectively, defining in each of these parts a band, respectively 15, 15' ( figure 3 b ). As previously, too, the portion 17, 17 'of each plate 11, 11' of the device opposite to the attachment system is articulated to the rest of the plate by a fold line 18, 18 'perpendicular to the slots 14, 14' and passing substantially through the corresponding ends thereof, so as to fold these parts 17, 17 ', to better support the associated parts of the book cover (see figure 4 ).

When the device is folded to bring into contact the plates 11 and 11 ', the aforementioned elements of each of these parts are arranged opposite one another.

To put on sale a notebook guard with a device of this type, it suffices to engage the cover portions 27 and 27 'of the booklet protector between the strips 15 and 15', respectively, and the rest of the two plates 11 and 11 ', and one can thus freely access the interior of the notebook, by simultaneously unfolding it and the exhibition device for sale, without having to separate them from one another.

The prospective purchaser can thus study in detail the notebook protector that he plans to buy and examine the original features of it.

Such an exposure device for sale can be used advantageously, in particular, with a notebook cover of the type which is the subject of the application for French Patent No. 04.11517 mentioned above. This notebook cover includes, as seen on the figure 5 , in addition to the usual flaps of the notebook cover 21, a storage bag, respectively 22 and 22 ', closed on three of its sides and adjacent by a fold line, respectively 23 and 23', parallel to the line 10, to each front and back cover portions of the folder protector, respectively 27 and 27 '. These pouches are intended to receive documents other than the notebook and to possibly serve as a bookmark for the notebook equipped with the notebook. With a notebook cover of this type, the pockets 22 and 22 'folded towards the inside of the notebook cover come into force, when it is put on sale, against the portions of the plates 11 and 11' of the display device for sale facing the interior of the notebook cover, while the lower part 17, 17 ', plates 11, 11', can be folded against the pockets 22.

It will be noted that the sales display device according to the present invention is of a particularly simple design and extremely easy to use by the users. As it is furthermore made of a cheap material such as cardboard, its manufacturing cost is low, which constitutes another advantage of the present invention.

Claims (14)

1. Device for the sales presentation of a notebook cover or a similar article, which device is able to be secured temporarily to such an article and to be hung on a pin of a display, this device comprising at least one flat sheet (1, 11, 11') made of a semi-rigid material such as cardboard, which is shaped such that it has a means (2, 3; 12, 12', 13, 13') for hooking it onto a pin of a display, this device being characterized in that at least one slit (4; 14, 14') is made in the flat sheet in a position such that, when the device is hung on the pin of the display, this slit is located in an approximately vertical position, this slit being long enough for the notebook cover (6, 21) or a part (27, 27') thereof to be able to be inserted into it so as to be located on both sides of the sheet, in contact with each of the faces of the latter, in order in this way to be secured temporarily with a view to being presented for sale.
2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that two slits (4; 14, 14') are made in the flat sheet (1; 11, 11') and define therein a longitudinal strip (5, 15) which is joined by its ends to the rest of the sheet and makes it possible to insert the notebook cover or a part of the latter between this strip and the flat sheet of which said strip is a part, with a view to trapping said notebook cover between this strip and the rest of the sheet.

Device according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that it comprises two identical flat sheets (11, 11') which are hinged together by a folding line (10) intended to come into contact with the hinge line of the two cover parts (27, 27') of the notebook cover (16), each of these sheets having a similar hooking means (12, 13; 12', 13') and at least one slit (14, 14') made in each flat sheet (11, 11'), the two slits (14, 14') being oriented in the same direction as the folding line (10) so as to be able to insert respectively into the slit of each sheet (11, 11') a cover part (27, 27') of the notebook cover in order to support this part, thus making possible for any buyer of the notebook cover to open the latter without separating it from the sales presentation device.
4. Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that each sheet has two slits (14, 14') which, in the use position of the device, are approximately parallel to the hinge line of the two cover parts of the notebook cover, each sheet thus comprising a strip (15, 15') defined by the two corresponding slits, in order to be able to insert a cover part (27, 27') of the notebook cover between this strip and the rest of the sheet.

Device according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that that part (7; 17, 17') of the sheet or sheets (1; 11, 11') of the device that is opposite the hooking means, that is to say the part which is at the lower end of the device in the use position of the latter, is hinged to the rest of the sheet by a folding line (8; 18, 18') perpendicular to the slit or slits (4; 14, 14') in the sheet and located approximately at the corresponding end of this or these slits, with a view to being able to fold up this part (7; 17, 17') so as to clasp the lower part of the notebook cover or a part of the latter.
6. Device according to one of Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the slits (4; 14, 14') made in each sheet (1; 11, 11') in order to define the strip (5; 15, 15') therein are parallel to one another.
7. Device according to Claims 3 and 6, characterized in that the slits (14, 14') made in each sheet (11, 11') are parallel to the folding line (10) by which these sheets are hinged together.
8. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the means for hooking at least one sheet (1; 11, 11') of the device onto a hanging pin of a sales presentation device comprises a circular hole (3; 13, 13') which is located in the upper part of the device in the use position thereof and into which a pin of sales presentation device can be slid.
9. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the hooking means of at least one sheet (1; 11, 11') comprises a curved cut-out (2; 12, 12') which starts at a free side edge of the sheet and may be connected to a hole (3; 13, 13').
10. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the hooking means consists of a part in the form of a hook in at least one of the sheets (1; 11, 11').
11. Use of a device according to one of Claims 1 to 10 for the sales presentation of a notebook cover or a similar article.
12. Use of a device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the part (17, 17') of the sheet or sheets (1; 11, 11') of the device that is opposite the hooking means and is hinged by a folding line (8; 18, 18') to the rest of the sheet is folded up against the notebook cover or a part, in particular a cover part (27, 27'), of this notebook cover.
13. Use according to Claim 11 for the sales presentation of a notebook cover having at least one storage pocket (22, 22') which is closed on three sides and is joined by a folding line (23, 23') to one of the cover pages (27, 27') of the notebook cover, characterized in that said pocket (22, 22') is flapped down inside the notebook cover over the part of the sales presentation device that clasps the corresponding cover page (17, 17') of the notebook cover and is turned towards the inside of the latter.
14. Use according to Claim 13 of a device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the part (17, 17') of each sheet (11, 11') of the device that is opposite the hooking means and is hinged by a folding line (18, 18') to the rest of the sheet is flapped down against the pocket (22, 22') of the notebook cover.
