Großes Augenmerk wurde in der Vergangenheit bei der Weiterentwicklung derartiger Streufahrzeuge gelegt einerseits auf eine möglichst weitgehende Vergleichmäßigung des Streubildes, d.h. möglichst geringe örtliche Abweichungen der tatsächlichen Streustoffverteilung von der vorgegebenen Streudichte, und andererseits eine Entlastung des Fahrers durch eine möglichst weitgehende Automatisierung des Streuvorgangs durch eine von der jeweiligen, automatisch erfaßten Position des Streufahrzeugs abhängige automatische Vorgabe von Streuparametern durch die Steuereinrichtung. Dies reflektiert die vorrangig maßgebliche Intention, Streufahrzeuge der hier in Rede stehenden Art prophylaktisch effektiv zur Glättebekämpfung einzusetzen, d.h. zu einem Zeitpunkt, zu dem sich das Streufahrzeug ungehindert über die jeweils zu bestreuende Verkehrsfläche bewegen kann.Gritting vehicles of the type mentioned above are well known. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabenstellung gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung dadurch, daß bei einem Winterdienst-Streufahrzeug der eingangs angegebenen Art mindestens ein Streuteller als Tiefstreuteller zum Betrieb in einer Tiefstreustellung mit einer Höhe von 25 cm oder weniger oberhalb der Fahrbahnoberfläche ausgeführt ist. Das erfindungsgemäße Streufahrzeug zeichnet sich mit anderen Worten dadurch aus, daß sich mit mindestens einem Streuteller Streustoff mit einer Abwurfhöhe von 25 cm oder weniger oberhalb der Fahrbahn ausbringen läßt. Dies gestattet den effizienten Einsatz des erfindungsgemäßen Streufahrzeugs auch in Stausituationen, insbesondere solchen infolge glättebedingter Unfälle. Denn das erfindungsgemäße Streufahrzeug kann beispielsweise durch die sog. "Rettungsgasse", wie sie bei einer Staubildung auf mehrspurigen Straßen zwischen zwei Fahrspuren für die Durchfahrt von Rettungsfahrzeugen freizuhalten ist, hindurch fahren und dabei wirksam die gesamte Fahrbahn bestreuen, weil der Streustoff, bedingt durch die Abwurfhöhe von 25 cm oder weniger oberhalb der Fahrbahnoberfläche, wirksam auch unter die beidseits der Rettungsgasse stehenden Fahrzeuge geschleudert werden kann. Mit herkömmlichen Streufahrzeugen, bei denen die Abwurfhöhe des Streutellers oberhalb der Fahrbahn mehr als 40 cm, typischerweise ca. 45 cm beträgt, ist dies nicht möglich. Bei einem solchermaßen weitergebildeten Streufahrzeug kann derjenige Streuteller, der als Tiefstreuteller ausgeführt ist, insbesondere dergestalt lageveränderbar aufgehängt sein, daß er wahlweise die Tiefstreustellung und eine Nichtgebrauchsstellung einnehmen kann. Für den Standard-Streueinsatz eines solchen Streufahrzeugs ist der als Tiefstreuteller ausgeführte Streuteller in seine Nichtgebrauchsstellung gebracht, in der er insbesondere weder das Ausbringen von Streustoff durch den Standardstreuteller behindert noch die Bodenfreiheit des Streufahrzeugs beeinträchtigt. Für den Streueinsatz im "Staubetrieb" wird hingegen der Standardstreuteller außer Betrieb gesetzt und der Tiefstreuteller in seine Tiefstreustellung gebracht und in Betrieb genommen, d.h. über die Fördereinrichtung mit Streustoff beschickt. In diesem Fall ist mindestens ein Streuteller der Streueinrichtung des Streufahrzeugs dergestalt lageveränderbar aufgehängt, daß er wahlweise eine Standardstreustellung, in der die Höhe des Streutellers oberhalb der Fahrbahnoberfläche 40 cm oder mehr beträgt, und eine Tiefstreustellung mit einer Abwurfhöhe des Streutellers von 25 cm oder weniger oberhalb der Fahrbahnoberfläche einnehmen kann. Hierzu kann die aus dem Streuteller und dem zugehörigen Antrieb bestehende Baugruppe insbesondere längs einer Führung zwischen der Standardstreustellung und der Tiefstreustellung verschiebbar aufgehängt sein. Eine den Streustoff zu dem Streuteller leitende Streustoffschütte bzw. Streustoffrinne kann dabei insbesondere teleskopisch verlänger- und verkürzbar ausgeführt sein. Die Gefahr, daß der Tiefstreuteller in seiner Tiefstreustellung beschädigt wird, ist dadurch maßgeblich reduziert, daß der Tiefstreuteller durch die Abstützung der betreffenden Baugruppe auf der Fahrbahnoberfläche entsprechenden Fahrbahnunebenheiten unmittelbar folgt.
