Description

The present invention relates to the technical field of electrical appliances, for example of the modular or other type, as well as to the field of electrical cabinets in which such electrical appliances are used. The present invention relates more particularly to electrical cabinets intended for example to contain racks or other electrical subassemblies used for example in telecommunications. It is often essential to supply electrical sub-assemblies arranged in an electrical cabinet via a circuit breaker to protect them. The addition of circuit breakers in these cabinets is often problematic due to the space requirements linked in particular to the power supply and the installation of electrical connection wires. The object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks and to supply power to electrical devices via protection systems of the circuit breaker type by facilitating the installation of the latter and by not increasing the space requirements. the use of these. The aims assigned to the present invention are achieved by means of an electrical connection bar comprising: - a support, electrical insulation, having two parallel grooves, - a metal blade engaged in each groove, the metal blades projecting out of the grooves and having internal faces facing each other, delimiting between them a free engagement space for a connection device, said free engagement space being devoid of any element or of any part or end of said support, - and protective means covering the other faces of the metal blades. Such a connection bar has a reduced bulk and can be easily fixed on a support of the type of electrical cabinet walls. The metal blades are not directly accessible, and thus make it possible to avoid accidents during interventions in the vicinity of the connection bar. The manufacture of such a connection bar is also easy to implement and inexpensive. The length of such a connection bar can be adapted to the request by cutting it to the lengths necessary in the given applications. It is also possible to use such a connection bar with alternating or direct currents. According to an exemplary embodiment, the protection means and the support are made in one piece. The number of parts contained in such a connection bar is therefore limited. According to an exemplary embodiment, the metal blades are inserted in the support. The assembly is thus carried out with a limited number of operations. According to another exemplary embodiment, the support is obtained by overmolding of the metal blades. We can then reduce the positioning tolerances of the metal blades. According to an exemplary embodiment, the support is made with a material whose shape and rigidity make it possible to immobilize the metal blades. No additional fixing means is therefore necessary. According to an exemplary embodiment, the support comprises a fixing member. The latter facilitates the mounting and fixing of the connection bar, for example in an electrical cabinet. The fixing member is for example a projecting part substantially perpendicular to the interior faces of the metal blades. This facilitates attachment to a wall parallel to said projecting part. The present invention also relates to an electrical cabinet equipped with at least one electrical connection bar as described above. The present invention also relates to a connection device intended to be engaged in a connection bar, which has two metal blades mounted in a support, delimiting between them a free space for engagement, said device comprising a housing made of an insulating material electrical and forming a housing provided with two input terminals for the connection of an electrical device of the circuit breaker type, two connection tabs projecting out of the housing, ensuring the mechanical maintenance and the electrical connection with the metal blades after their introduction into the free engagement space, the electrical connection being made with metal parts attached respectively to one face of a connection tab and to an opposite face of the other connection tab, each connection tab being capable of establishing an electrical connection with a specific metal blade, the housing being equal provided with two supply terminals incorporating the electrical appliance into the supply circuit when a load or another appliance is connected to the supply terminals. It is thus possible to connect, via this connection device, existing modular electrical devices, to the connection bar and this, without adaptation. According to an exemplary embodiment, the connection tabs extend in a median extension plane of the housing. Such a conformation makes it possible to optimize the positioning of the housing (9) and therefore of the electrical apparatus coming to engage therein, relative to the connection bar, and / or relative to the electrical sub-assemblies mounted in a cabinet. electric. Other characteristics and advantages will also emerge from the detailed description given below with reference to the drawings given by way of illustration in which: - Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of an exemplary embodiment of a conforming connection bar to the invention, - Figure 2 is an embodiment of a connection device according to the invention, - Figure 3 is an embodiment of an electrical device intended to be inserted in the connection device of the Figure 2, - Figure 4 is another embodiment of the connection device according to the invention, - Figures 5 and 6 are complementary views of the connection device of Figure 4, - Figure 7 is an example of mounting the connection device on the connection bar, in accordance with the invention, - Figures 8 and 9 each represent one side of an exemplary embodiment of a bar supply device re connection according to the invention, - Figure 10 is another embodiment of supply of the connecting bar according to the invention, - Figure 11 is an additional embodiment of the supply device of the connecting bar according to the invention. The invention relates to an electrical connection bar (1), shown for example in FIG. 1, comprising an electrically insulating support (1a) and having two parallel grooves (2). A metal blade (3) is engaged in each groove (2). The metal blades (3) are used to make electrical connections and are for example made of copper. The metal blades (3) protrude from the grooves (2) and have interior faces (3a) facing each other, delimiting between them a free engagement space (4). The free engagement space (4) is devoid of any element or of any part or end of the support. The space delimited in part by the interior faces (3a) is therefore entirely free and accessible for means of electrical connection and / or holding. It is advantageous that the means used to establish an electrical connection with the blades (3) are also used for mechanical maintenance on the connection bar (1). Electrical connection means can thus be engaged in the free engagement space (4). The connection bar (1) also includes protective means covering the other faces of the metal blades (3). These are the outer faces (3 b), the lower faces (3 c) and the upper faces (3 d). Metal blades (3) are thus obtained which are inaccessible outside the free engagement space (4). The parallel grooves (2) are separated from a central rib (5) defining the spacing of the metal blades (3), which are immobilized in the support (1 a) and more particularly in the parallel grooves (2). According to an exemplary embodiment, the protection means and the support (1a) are made in one piece. The support (1a) therefore has rising faces (1b) ending in upper edges (1c) covering the upper faces (3d) and the outer faces (3b). Only the interior faces (3a) facing each other and projecting out of the parallel grooves (2) remain accessible inside the engagement space (4). The metal blades (3) are therefore not accessible in the connection bar (1) in normal use. In order not to hinder the engagement of a connection terminal in the connection bar, the upper edges (1c) cover the upper faces (3d) over a substantially equal width. There is thus obtained good mechanical retention of the metal blades (3) without producing an edge extending in the free engagement space (4). The risk of direct accidental access to the metal blades (3) is also reduced for the user. The metal blades (3) are for example inserted in the support (1a). The insertion is, for example, a forced assembly, making it possible to immobilize the metal blades (3) in the support (1a). The latter is for example made of thermosetting or thermoplastic plastic. According to another exemplary embodiment, the support (1a) is obtained by overmolding of the metal blades (3). The support (1a) is then produced with a material whose shape and rigidity make it possible to immobilize the metal blades (3). The support (1a) also comprises a fixing member (1 d), which makes it possible to fix the connection bar (1) on a base of the electrical cabinet type. The fixing member (1d) is for example a projecting part substantially perpendicular to the inner faces (3a) of the metal blades (3). The connection bar (1) is for example fixed in an electrical cabinet (6). The present invention also relates to a connection device (7) shown for example in Figures 2, 4, 5 and 6, intended to be engaged in the connection bar (1) described above. The engagement takes place in the free engagement space (4) in a direction substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of extension of the metal blades (3). The maintenance of the connection device (7) is obtained by friction between the internal faces (3a) and the corresponding parts of the connection device. The connection device (7) comprises a housing (8) produced with an electrically insulating material and forming a housing (9) for an electrical appliance (10) of the circuit breaker type. The connection device (7) comprises two connection tabs (11) and (12) projecting from the housing (8) and ensuring the mechanical retention and the electrical connection with the metal blades (3). The connection tabs (11) and (12) are therefore intended to be engaged in the free engagement space (4) of the connection bar (1). The electrical connection is made with metal parts (13) attached respectively to one face of a connection lug (12) and to an opposite face of the other connection lug (11). The metal parts (13) are therefore arranged on a single face of each connection tab (11) or (12). Each connection tab (11) or (12) is thus capable of establishing an electrical connection with a corresponding metal blade (3) as soon as it is introduced into the free engagement space (4). The housing (8) is also provided with two supply terminals (14) and (15) integrating the electrical appliance (10) in the supply circuit when a load or another appliance having to be protected and connected to said terminals supply (14, 15). Input terminals (16, 17) are provided in the bottom of the housing (9) for the connection of the electrical appliance (10) following its positioning in said housing (9). The power supply terminal (14) is thus directly connected to the metal part (13) intended to come into contact with one of the metal blades (3), while the power supply terminal (15) is directly connected to the input connection terminal (17). The terminal of input connection (16) is itself directly connected to the other metal part (13) intended to come into contact with the other metal blade (3). When the electrical appliance (10), in this case a circuit breaker, is inserted with plug-in terminals (18) and (19) into the corresponding input terminals (17) and (16), an electrical supply is obtained at the level of the supply terminals (14) and (15) integrating said electrical appliance (10) in the electrical supply circuit. The connection to the supply terminals (14) and (15) is thus secured by the electrical device (10), in this case a circuit breaker (10). The latter is advantageously provided with a reset lever (20). The connecting lugs (11) and (12) advantageously extend in an offset extension plane and parallel to a median extension plane (P) of the housing (9). This makes it possible to optimize the positioning of the electrical appliance (10) and of the connection device (7) and at the same time to reduce the size of said sub-assembly in an electrical cabinet (6). Accessibility to the supply terminals (14) and (15) is also facilitated. The power supply can also be positioned anywhere on the connection bar (1). The electrical connection bar (1) is supplied electrically via a supply device for example shown in FIGS. 8, 9, 10 or 11. FIGS. 8 and 9 show a front and rear view respectively of such a supply device . The latter comprises two supply wires (21, 22), each of which is connected to a supply tab (23, 24) produced from an electrical insulating support. Each supply tab (23, 24) is provided on one of its faces with an attached metal part (13), making it possible to establish the electrical connection. This metal part (13) is advantageously provided with parallel strips (13a) whose convex shape makes it possible to ensure a mechanically stable and intimate engagement between the metal blades (3). The thickness of the feed tabs (23, 24) comprising the metal parts (13) is therefore perfectly suited to the spacing of the metal blades (3). Another example of a feeding device is shown in FIG. 10. In this exemplary embodiment, the feeding tabs (23, 24) extend substantially orthogonally to the direction of introduction of the connecting wires (21, 22 ) in said device. The wires 21, 22 are connected to the metal parts (13) by any known means. The metal parts (13) described below are also suitable for the connection device (7) described above, shown for example in FIG. 4. FIG. 11 represents an alternative embodiment of a supply device, which has an engagement end piece (25) in which two cable routing zones (26) (21, 22) make it possible to make the connection with the corresponding metal parts (13). The end piece (25) is provided with a locking arm (27), the end of which is located overhanging the supply tabs (23, 24) is provided with a clip (28). The latter is intended to engage behind at least one boss (1 e) provided on a rising face (1b) of the support (1a). According to the example shown in Figure 11, the supply tabs 23 and 24 are made in one piece. Connection pads (30) are used to connect the locking arms (27) on the end piece (25) and to provide elastic deformation to allow the engagement of the clip (28) behind the boss (1e). A support zone (29), provided on the locking arm (27) at the opposite end of the clip (28), makes it possible to facilitate the disengagement of the end piece (25) from the connecting bar (1). With an action on the bearing area (29), the clip (28) is released from the boss (1 e). The latter can also be replaced by a rib (1f). The locking arm (27) therefore makes it possible to guarantee a stable attachment to the connection bar (1) of the feed tabs (23) and (24) and, if necessary, to identify a determined polarity for feeding the blades. metallic electrical (3). The connection device according to the invention can also be provided with an indicator means making it possible to identify the energization of said connection device. This indicating means can consist of light-emitting diodes. The connection device (7) and the supply means can thus be mounted at any point on the connection bar (1). This gives great flexibility in the arrangement of electrical devices (10) in an electrical cabinet (6). According to the examples shown in Figures 4, 5, 6 and 7, the connection device (7) is also provided with a locking arm (27) whose description given above for the supply device can be transposed in all points. The assemblies of the connection device (7) and of the supply device on the connection bar (1) are therefore identical. Pressing on the support zone (29) is sufficient to release the clip (28) (Figure 6) from the connection boss (7) of the connection bar (1).
