Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Feuerschutztür (1), welche als Türelemente ein Türblatt (4) und eine Zarge (2) aufweist, wobei in einem im Schließzustand der Feuerschutztür zwischen dem Türblatt und der Zarge bestehendem Türspalt (6) eine Dichtung (5, 5a, 5b, 5c) zum Abdichten des Türspalts im Schließzustand der Feuerschutztür angeordnet ist, wobei ein erster Teilbereich (30) der Dichtung aus einem ersten, unter Wärmeeinwirkung aufschäumenden Material gebildet ist und ein zum Abdichten des Türspalts (6) im Normalbetrieb geeigneter zweiter, von dem ersten verschiedener Teilbereich (31) der Dichtung (5a, 5b, 5c; 5) aus einem zweiten Material ohne im Brandfall aufschäumende Wirkung besteht und wobei die Dichtung in einer Ausnehmung (16) an einem ersten (2) der beiden Türelemente (2, 4) gehalten ist. Um eine auch unter rauen Einsatzbedingungen funktionssichere Abdichtung sowohl im Normalbetrieb als auch im Brandfall erreichen zu können, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass die Dichtung (5a, 5b, 5c; 5) lediglich mit ihrem ersten Teilbereich (30) in der Ausnehmung (16) gehalten ist und dass der zweite Teilbereich (31) vollständig außerhalb der Ausnehmung (16) angeordnet ist.
