Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for laying flat objects by means of a conveyor line according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a delivery device is used in particular at the exit of a rotary printing press in order to design individualized signatures on a plurality of printed paper webs onto a plurality of conveyor belts.
- a known Auslegevoriques of this type is z. B. in DE 101 16 346 A1.
- This known device uses conveyor lines in which a signature is conveyed clamped between endless belts, which are each wound around a plurality of rollers.
- the conveyor line is forked several times, and the bifurcations are each a signature switch in the form of a reciprocating wedge, depending on the position deflects him a passing signature in different directions and so on different branches of the conveyor line leads.
- the signature switch In order to distribute a stream in two different ways with the aid of such a signature switch, the signature switch must be able to change its position between two passes of signatures. This is only possible if the signatures do not follow each other directly. If the signatures are cut from a continuous web, such a distance between the signatures can only be achieved if the speed of the conveying path is significantly greater than that of the web before cutting. The smaller the distance between two consecutive signatures in the amount of the points, the faster this must be able to switch. This leads to considerable demands on the mechanics of the signature gate, which only with considerable technical effort and corresponding costs are to be met.
- US Pat. No. 5,236,188 A describes an apparatus for depositing printed products with a plurality of adjacent blade wheels. In this case, a separate transfer cylinder with grippers is necessary between a conveyor line with conveyor belts for each paddle wheel.
- FR 2 760 733 A1 discloses a paddle wheel with two blades.
- the invention has for its object to provide a device for laying flat objects by means of a conveyor line.
- the device does not need any parts that move quickly and discontinuously, such as the signature switch described above.
- the paddle wheels are arranged on one side and / or below the conveyor track, so that the objects conveyed on the conveyor track, due to their own weight, tend to penetrate into a compartment of a paddle wheel if this is possible.
- a tip of each scoop that crosses the conveyor line while that of the scoop formed compartment adjacent to the conveyor line serves to catch the front end of an object, which is located on the conveying path in the amount of the compartment of a paddle wheel, and deflect it into the compartment.
- the peripheral speed of the blade is smaller than the conveying speed of the conveying path.
- each paddle wheel has only a single blade. It is also possible to provide two blades per paddle wheel, since this simplifies the balancing of the paddle wheels and, compared to the case with a single blade, does not increase the circumference of the paddle wheel appreciably required.
- Adjacent paddle wheels - preferably have a phase shift of 2 ⁇ (d / vT ⁇ 1 / mN), where d is the distance of the paddle wheels, N the number of paddle wheels, m the number of their blades, v the conveying speed of the conveyor line and T the time interval between two on the conveyor line promoted objects. This phase difference ensures that two objects conveyed in succession on the conveyor are taken over cyclically alternately by the n paddle wheels.
- the number N of the paddle wheels is four.
- the apparatus is used in conjunction with a printing machine whose plate cylinder can receive four plates or printed images in the circumferential direction, the device with four paddle wheels, each printed on the same plates or printed images having the same printed matter at the same Auslegestelle interpreted and thus the printed products , which cyclically-sequenced on the conveyor track-sort.
- the device When the device is used for printed products, it is preferably preceded by a cross-cutting device which breaks down a printed material web or a strand of material webs into individual printed products.
- a vertical section of the conveying path is preferably arranged, which can be used to space the individual printed products delivered by the cross-cutting device on the conveying path from each other.
- the paddle wheels are preferably arranged on a horizontal section of the conveyor track in order to facilitate the deflection of the products into the compartments of the paddle wheels.
- An input of the device shown in Fig. 1 is by a cross cutter 01, z. B. a cutting cylinder pair 01 formed.
- the cutting cylinder pair 01 is, as illustrated by an arrow, from above from a (not shown) superstructure a strand of printed material webs z. B. paper webs supplied.
- a cylinder of the cutting cylinder pair 01 carries a knife which, in cooperation with an abutment of the other cylinder of the cutting cylinder pair 01, separates a section of one side length from the strand with each revolution of the cutting cylinder pair 01.
- the article thus obtained, in particular the printed product enters an input gusset 02 of a conveyor line 03, which by rotating on a plurality of rollers 04 endless belt 06, z. B.
- conveyor belts 06 is formed.
- the rotational speed of the endless belt 06 is larger by about 5% than the speed of the paper webs 01 fed to the cutting cylinder pair.
- the individual products are therefore gradually accelerated in the downwardly gradually tapering etc.zwickel 02 of the conveyor line 03, resulting in a gap of about 5% of its side length between successive printed products.
- the initially vertically extending conveyor line 03 merges with a roller 07 of large diameter in a horizontal orientation.
- the function of the roller 07 can be alone be the deflection of the conveyor line 03, but it could also be a known collecting cylinder 07, on which in a conventional manner each supplied printed product at least one complete revolution-travels, is assembled with at least one other printed product to a stack and finally delivered as a stack for further promotion.
- roller 07 may be formed as a folding blade 07.
- the printed products discharged by the roller 07 continue to move on a horizontal section of the conveying path 03, at which a number N of paddle wheels 08, in this case four, are arranged, each with a single blade 09.
- the paddle wheels 08 are arranged at a uniform distance d from each other and rotate at the same speed, wherein between adjacent paddle wheels 08 each have a phase shift of 2 ⁇ (d / vT ⁇ 1 / N), where v is the speed of the endless belt 06 of the conveyor line 03 and T denotes the time interval between two successive printed products on the conveying path 03. Between two paddle wheels 08 a portion of the conveyor line 03 is arranged in each case.
- phase difference between the paddle wheels 08 ensures that whenever a print product is over a paddle wheel 08, it either faces the bin 11 of that paddle wheel 08, so that the printed product can enter the bin 11, or the bin 11 is shifted by ⁇ 1/4 or 1/2 turn, and that (depending on the sign) successively conveyed products either in order from the first 11, second, third, fourth and then again the first paddle wheel 08 or vice versa Order to be taken.
- the paddle wheels 08 are constructed of a plurality of substantially circular discs rotatable in a plane about a common axis of rotation, in each of which a compartment 11 is cut and which rotate at a peripheral speed is slightly smaller than the rotational speed of the endless belt 06 and preferably equal to the speed of the cutting cylinder pair 01 fed paper webs. Only the free end of each blade 09 protrudes a little way beyond the circumference of the circular disk, so that this free tip 12 crosses it in its position facing the conveying path 03 (see FIG. 2).
- the tip 12 deflects the trailing end of a printed matter 13 slightly upward, while at the same time representing an obstacle to the leading end of a subsequent printed matter 14 as it moves more slowly than the latter leading edge of the printed product 14 down, into the compartment 11, deflects. It is immediately obvious that for the interception of the printed product 14 from the conveyor line 03 out into the compartment 11 no large distance between successive printed products is required. Rather, it is quite desirable to have a very small distance between the printed products, so that the printed product 14 is pushed as deeply as possible into the compartment 11, before his trailing end loses contact with the endless belt 06 of the conveyor line 03.
- Tines 16 of a stationary rake engage from below between the discs of each paddle wheel 08 to push out a possibly contained in the compartment 11 of the paddle wheel 08 printed matter in the course of rotation of the paddle wheel 08 in the clockwise direction from the tray 11 and on a jib 17, here a moving transversely to the plane of Fig. 2 conveyor belt 17 to interpret.
- paddle wheels 08 Although only four paddle wheels 08 are shown in FIG. 1, it is obvious that the principle of the invention can be generalized to an arbitrary number of paddle wheels 08 and delivery points.
- the number N of the paddle wheels 08 is an integer and may be greater than or equal to three. In general, however, it does not make sense to have more Auslegestellen 17, as different printed products on the conveyor line 03 may be present can. That is, when the apparatus is used in conjunction with a printing machine whose plate cylinders can support up to four different plates or printed images in the circumferential direction, no more than four Auslegestellen 17 corresponding to these four plates or printed images are useful.
- the roller 07 is a collecting cylinder 07, which is driven in the collecting operation and outputs each composed of two stacked sections printed products, this leads to the non-collection operation to a doubling of the period T, with which the printed products pass the paddle wheels 08 , Without this, a change in the movement of the individual paddle wheels 08 would be required, the collected printed products are each designed only on two of the four Auslegestellen 17.
- This modified paddle wheel 08 has two blades 09 in diametrically opposite positions, and the tip 12 of at least one of the blades 09 is between the position shown in Fig. 2, in which it extends beyond the circumference of the circular plate of the paddle wheel 08, and a lowered position in which it, as shown below in Fig. 3, does not protrude beyond the circumference of the circular disc and instead closes the compartment 11 to which it is arranged.
- a paddle wheel 08 is mounted, for example, at the position closest to the roller 07 in Fig.
- a (not shown) paddle wheel having four blades at a distance of 90 °, at least three of which have pivotable tips. When these tips are all swung out, such a paddle wheel catches all printed matter passing on the conveyor line 03 and places it on its conveyor belt 17.
- the device receives in the first paddle wheel 08 identical first objects and in the second paddle wheel second identical articles differing from the first articles, third objects identical in the third paddle wheel 08 and fourth objects identical in the fourth paddle wheel 08 and different from the third objects ,
- Each paddle wheel 08 preferably has fewer than five blades 09, in particular less than three blades 09.
- the flat objects are transported by means of the conveyor line 03 and paddle wheels 08.
- the objects are transported one after the other along the conveying path 03.
- One of these objects is removed from the conveyor line 03 and transported into a compartment 11 of a first paddle wheel 08.
- the remaining objects are transported along the conveyor line 03 to a second bucket wheel 08 arranged behind the first bucket wheel 08 in relation to the transport direction of the conveyor line 03 and one of these objects is removed from the conveyor line 03 and transported into a compartment 11 of the second bucket wheel 08.
- the remaining objects are transported along the conveying path 03 to a reference to the transport direction of the conveyor line 03 behind the second paddle wheel 08 arranged third paddle wheel 08 and taken one of these objects from the conveyor line 03 and into a compartment 11 of the third Paddle wheel 08 transports.
- the remaining objects are transported along the conveying path 03 to a fourth impeller wheel 08 arranged behind the third impeller wheel 08 relative to the conveying direction of the conveying path 03 and one of these objects is removed from the conveying path 03 and transported into a compartment 11 of the fourth impeller wheel 08.
- N of the number can correspond to the different objects arranged one behind the other on the conveying path 03.
