- A fire or smoke curtain (5) comprising a sealing arrangement for separating two room areas, comprising a bearing surface (16, 16'), which is approximately parallel to the length of curtain, on which a surface area (5') of the curtain (5) abuts, wherein the sealing arrangement is provided in areas of this bearing surface (16, 16'), wherein a further bearing surface (10, 10') is present,

- The fire or smoke curtain according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two bearing surfaces (10, 16; 10', 16') are provided on a lateral guide rail (8) for the curtain (5).
- The fire or smoke curtain according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is provided on a running edge (9) for guiding the curtain (5) following the curtain sleeve (12), preferably on the outlet (7) of a winding housing (4).
- The fire or smoke curtain according to claims 3 and 5, characterized in that provision is made on one side for a horizontally running seal (9-16) on the running edge (9) and, on the other side, for the sealing bearing surfaces (10, 16; 10', 16') on at least one edge area (5'), preferably on both, of the curtain (5).
- The fire or smoke curtain according to claim 6, characterized in that the horizontally running seal (9-16) reaches only across a portion of the surface of the curtain (5) in such a way that it leaves the edge area (5') of the curtain (5) open.
- The fire or smoke curtain according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that at least one lateral guide rail (8), preferably one each on both sides, which is provided with such a labyrinth seal, directly follows the horizontally running seal (9-16), preferably with a miter square (β).

- The fire or smoke curtain according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a gap (7, 7'), which is preferably defined by the bearing surfaces (10, 16; 10', 16') themselves and which widens towards the room areas (2), but tapers against the two bearing surfaces (10, 16; 10', 16'), is formed towards the two bearing surfaces (10, 16; 10', 16').
