- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wertdokument mit Sicherheitselement, wobei ein passives Sicherheitsmerkmal zur Applikation auf Wertdokumenten, wie Banknoten und Ausweispapieren, das erst nach der Applikation aktiviert wird.
- Wertdokumente, wie Banknoten und Ausweispapiere werden zum Schutz gegen Nachahmung und Fälschung mit Sicherheitsmerkmalen, die unterschiedliche funktionelle Merkmale aufweisen, versehen. So werden beispielsweise Hologrammstreifen oder -patches, Sicherheitselemente mit leitfähigen und/oder magnetischen Eigenschaften, mit optischen Eigenschaften (Farbkippeffekt, Lumineszenzeigenschaften) auf das Wertdokument aufgebracht.
- Diese Sicherheitselemente sind bereits vor Applikation auf das Wertdokument aktiv und können somit von Nachahmern als gültiges Sicherheitselement auch auf gefälschte Dokumente aufgebracht werden.
- Ferner ist es bekannt drucktechnisch beispielweise Linienraster auf Wertdokumente aufzubringen, die mit versteckten Informationen versehen sind, die z.B. mittels Linsen oder Filter ausgelesen, jedoch nicht kopiert werden können.

DE 40 41 025 A offenbart ein Sicherheitsdokument, das ein Sicherheitselement mit elektrisch leitfähigen und magnetischen Eigenschaften aufweist. Diese Sicherheitsmerkmale weisen keinen Kontext mit etwaigen auf dem Sicherheitsdokument vorhandenen Sicherheitsmerkmalen auf. -
DE 195 41064 A1 offenbart ein Wertdokument mit Sicherheitselement mit gedruckten oder metallisierten Linienraster oder Feinstrukturen, die Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen bilden. - Aufgabe der Erfindung war es, ein Sicherheitselement bereitzustellen, das erst durch register- und passergenaue Applikation mit hoher Genauigkeit auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments zum Echtheitsnachweis geeignet ist und damit zum Sicherheitsmerkmal wird.
- Gegenstand der Erfindung ist daher ein Wertdokument mit Sicherheitselement, wobei das Sicherheitselement gedruckte oder metallisierte Linienraster oder Feinstrukturen aufweist, die Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen bilden, die mit den auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments aufgebrachten gedruckten Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen jeweils durch register- und passergenaue Applikation auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments und/oder zumindest teilweise register- und passergenaue Einbettung in das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments eine aus den Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen gebildete visuell oder maschinell erkennbare vollständige Information bilden.
- Dadurch wird ein eindeutiger, unverwechselbarer Bezug zwischen Sicherheitselement und Wertdokument hergestellt. Das Sicherheitsmerkmal wird erst durch die register- und passergenaue Applikation aktiviert, erst in Verbindung der Schichten und/oder Strukturen auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments und dem Sicherheitselement ist die Authentizität des Wertdokuments erkennbar. Ferner werden dadurch auch die Anforderungen an die Sicherheitsmaßnahmen beim Transport der Sicherheitsmerkmale geringer, da das Sicherheitsmerkmal alleine praktisch wertlos für Nachahmer und Fälscher ist.
- Das Sicherheitselement weist Schichten und/oder Strukturen, beispielsweise Linienraster oder Feinstrukturen auf.
- Diese Raster und/oder Strukturen können in Form von Zeichen, Linien, Guillochen, Kurven, Wellen, Mustern und geometrischen Figuren, gegebenenfalls auch in Form eines Codes, vorliegen.
- Die Raster und/oder Strukturen weisen optische Eigenschaften (beispielsweise Lumineszenzen, reflektierende Eigenschaften, optisch aktive Eigenschaften, Beugungsstrukturen, optisch wirksame Filter), und/oder elektrisch leitfähige und/oder magnetische Eigenschaften auf.
- Derartige Strukturen können beispielsweise durch Drucken, Metallisieren und Demetallisieren, durch partielles Aufdampfen der entsprechenden Schicht oder Struktur auf ein Trägersubstrat erfolgen.
- Das Sicherheitsmerkmal mit den darauf vorhandenen Schichten und/oder Strukturen und Informationen wird register- und passergenau auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments aufgebracht.
- Dabei können die auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal vorhandenen Teilstrukturen oder Teilinformationen erst durch Deckung mit den auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhandenen Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen die gewünschte vollständige Information bilden.
- Es können aber auch durch Kombination oder Überlagerung der auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal und dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorliegenden Schichten und/oder Strukturen oder Informationen neue Effekte entstehen.
- So kann ferner auch beispielsweise ein entsprechendes Sicherheitsmerkmal auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments aufgebracht werden, und damit aktiviert werden, worauf durch anschließendes Überdrucken von Sicherheitsmerkmal und Basismaterial des Wertdokuments mit einer weiteren Information ein zusätzliches Identifikationsmerkmal generiert wird. Dabei kann das Überdrucken des Sicherheitsmerkmals vollflächig oder partiell, unter Freilassen bestimmter Bereiche, die ein Identifikationsmerkmal oder Teile eines Identifikationsmerkmals aus den auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal und dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhandenen Strukturen beinhalten, erfolgen.
- Neben den bei register- und passergenauer Aufbringung auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments zum aktiven Sicherheitsmerkmal werdenden Schichten und/oder Strukturen können sowohl das Sicherheitselement als auch das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments zusätzliche funktionelle Merkmale aufweisen oder Referenzmerkmale zum aktivierbaren Merkmal darstellen.
- Das Sicherheitselement, das auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments appliziert und/oder in das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments eingebettet wird, wird hergestellt durch Aufbringen der gewünschten Raster, Schichten, Strukturen bzw. funktionellen Merkmale auf ein Trägersubstrat.
- Als Trägersubstrate kommen beispielsweise Trägerfolien, vorzugsweise flexible transparente Kunststofffolien, beispielsweise aus PI, PP, MOPP, PE, PPS, PEEK, PEK, PEI, PAEK, LCP, PEN, PBT, PET, PA, PC, COC, POM, ABS, PVC in Frage.
- Die Trägerfolien weisen vorzugsweise eine Dicke von 5 - 700 µm, bevorzugt 5 - 200 µm, besonders bevorzugt 5 - 50 µm auf.
- Ferner können als Trägersubstrat auch Metallfolien, beispielsweise Al-, Cu-, Sn-, Ni-, Fe- oder Edelstahlfolien mit einer Dicke von 5 - 200 µm, vorzugsweise 10 bis 80 µm, besonders bevorzugt 20 - 50 µm dienen. Die Folien können auch oberflächenbehandelt, beschichtet oder kaschiert beispielsweise mit Kunststoffen oder lackiert sein.
- Ferner können als Trägersubstrate auch Papier oder Verbunde mit Papier, beispielsweise Verbunde mit Kunststoffen mit einem Flächengewicht von 20 - 500 g/m2, vorzugsweise 40 - 200 g/m2. verwendet werden.
- Ferner können als Trägersubstrate Gewebe oder Vliese, wie Endlosfaservliese und Stapelfaservliese, die gegebenenfalls vemadelt und/oder kalandriert sein können, verwendet werden. Vorzugsweise bestehen solche Gewebe oder Vliese aus Kunststoffen, wie PP, PET, PA und PPS es können aber auch Gewebe oder Vliese aus natürlichen, gegebenenfalls behandelten Fasern, wie Viskosefasern eingesetzt werden. Die eingesetzten Vliese oder Gewebe weisen ein Flächengewicht von etwa 20 g/m2 bis 500 g/m2 auf. Gegebenenfalls müssen die Vliese oder Gewebe oberflächenbehandelt werden.
- Auf dieses Trägersubstrat werden dann die entsprechenden Strukturen und Informationen aufgebracht.
- Die Aufbringung dieser Merkmale kann auf jede bekannte konventionelle Weise erfolgen, beispielsweise durch Spin-Coating, Aufstreichen, Aufdampfen, durch Drucken, (Tiefdruck, Flexodruck, Siebdruck, Offsetdruck, Digitaldruck) durch Aufsprühen, Sputtern oder Walzenauftragstechniken.
- Dabei kann auf dem Trägersubstrat beispielsweise eine Transferlackschicht vorhanden sein, wodurch die aufgebrachten Merkmale transferierbar sein können.
- Ebenso werden auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments an einer bestimmten definierten Stelle die entsprechenden Merkmale aufgebracht.
- Das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments kann dabei aus zellstofffreiem, zellstoffhaltigem Papier, Baumwollpapier, Papier mit thermochromer oder chemisch aktivierbarer Beschichtung, Papieren mit Wasserzeichen, Verbunden dieser Papiere auch mit Kunststoffen oder Metallfolien, aus Kunststoffen, Verbunden mit Kunststoffen, aus Metallfolien oder Verbunden von Metallfolien mit Kunststoffen und/oder Papier bestehen. Die Dicke des Wertdokuments kann dabei 6 -1000 µm betragen.
- Die beschriebenen Merkmale können auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments in jedem bekannten Druckverfahren, beispielsweise durch Tiefdruckverfahren, indirekten Tiefdruck, Stahltiefdruck, Intaglio-Druckverfahren, Prägen, Blindprägen, Offsetdruck, Flexodruck, Buchdruck, Digitaldruck, Aufdampfen, Sputtern, Metallisieren und ggf. partielles Demetallisieren aufgebracht werden.
- In einer Ausführungsform können dabei sowohl auf dem Sicherheitselement als auch auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments in einem definierten Bereich die entsprechenden Schichten und/oder Strukturen aufgebracht sein, wobei das Sicherheitselement in Form eines Fadens, Streifens, Melierfaser, Planchetten, Patches oder anderen Formaten, beispielsweise auf einer das Wertdokument vollflächig bedeckenden Laminatfolie (vollflächig oder partiell) vorhanden sein kann.
- So können auf dem Sicherheitselement und auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments wiederum in definierten Bereichen elektrisch leitfähige und/oder magnetische Schichten und/oder Strukturen aufgebracht werden. Durch register- und passergenaue Aufbringung der auf dem Sicherheitselement vorhandenen Schichten und/oder Strukturen auf die auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhandenen Schichten und/oder Strukturen kann entweder eine entsprechende maschinell erkenn- bzw. messbare Eigenschaft erzeugt werden bzw. durch Überlagerung der beiden erkennbaren messbaren Eigenschaften eine definierte Größe bzw. Intensität oder Codierung erzeugt werden. Erst durch die Überlagerung der beiden Elemente, der auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhandenen Schicht und/oder Struktur und der auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal vorhandenen Schicht und/oder Struktur entsteht dann beispielsweise eine geschlossenen magnetische oder elektrisch leitfähige Bahn, beispielweise ein Schwingkreis durch Kombination von Antenne und Kondensator, oder elektromagnetische Interferenzen oder Codierungen.
- Als elektrisch leitfähige Schichten können beispielsweise metallische oder nicht metallische oder polymere leitfähige Schichten verwendet werden.
- Als metallische leitfähige Schichten kommen beispielsweise Farben oder Lacke mit Metallpigmenten (beispielsweise Kupfer, Aluminium, Silber, Gold, Eisen, Chrom), Metalllegierungen wie Kupfer-Zink oder Kupfer-Aluminium in Frage.
- Weiters können auch dotierte oder nicht dotierte Halbleiter wie beispielsweise Silicium, Germanium oder Ionenleiter wie amorphe oder kristalline Metalloxide oder Metallsulfide als Zusatz verwendet werden. Ferner können zur Einstellung der elektrischen Eigenschaften der Schicht polare oder teilweise polare Verbindungen, wie Tenside oder unpolare Verbindungen wie Silikonadditive oder hygroskopische oder nicht hygroskopische Salze verwendet oder zugesetzt werden.
- Die Aufbringung der kann beispielsweise durch bekannte, PVD- oder CVD-Verfahren, durch Sputtern und durch bekannte Druckverfahren erfolgen und durch bekannte Demetallisierungsverfahren beispielsweise unter Verwendung eines Ätzmittels oder vorzugsweise einer löslichen Waschfarbe strukturiert werden.
- Diese elektrisch leitfähige metallische Schicht kann durch bekannte Verfahren, beispielsweise durch Bedampfen, Sputtern, Drucken (Tief-, Flexo-, Sieb-, Digitaldruck), Sprühen und Galvanisieren aufgebracht werden und durch bekannte Demetallisierungsverfahren beispielsweise unter Verwendung eines Ätzmittels oder vorzugsweise einer löslichen Waschfarbe strukturiert werden. Die Dicke der funktionellen Schicht beträgt 0,001 bis 50 µm, vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 20 µm.
- Als nicht metallische leitfähige Schicht wird beispielsweise eine mit Ruß, Graphit, amorphen oder kristallinen keramischen Pigmenten wie ITO, ATO und FTO pigmentierte Dispersion oder Lösung in Ethylenacrylatcopolymer, Nitrocellulose, PVB, PA, Acrylat oder PVC oder deren Copolymeren verwendet.
- Gegebenenfalls können auch bekannte Bindemittel (für Intaglio- oder Offfsetfarben) zugesetzt werden.
- Als elektrisch leitfähige polymere Schichten können beispielsweise Polyacetylen, Poly-p-phenylen, Polypyrrole, Polythiophene, Poly-p-phenylenvinylen, niedermolekulare makrocyclische Halbleiter, Organopolysilane, Polyschwefelnitrid und/oder Polyaniline und/oder deren Derivate verwendet werden. Bevorzugt werden als elektrisch leitfähige Polymere Polyanilin oder Polythiophene verwendet. Besonders bevorzugt wird als elektrisch leitfähiges Polymer Polyethylendioxythiophen verwendet.
- Die Polymere können in Form einer Dispersion oder in Form ihrer Monomere bzw. Vorpolymere mit nachfolgender Aufbringung eines Initiators und/oder Katalysators oder bereits in Mischung mit einem Initiator und/oder Katalysator auf ein Trägersubstrat aufgebracht werden.
- Als handelsübliche elektrische leitfähige Polymersuspension ist beispielsweise Baytron® P der Fa. H.C. Stark einsetzbar. Als Dispersionsmittel kommen beispielsweise inerte Lösungsmittel, vorzugsweise wässrige Lösungsmittel oder Alkohole, wie i-Propanol in Frage. Gegebenenfalls können den Polymerdispersionen auch Matrixpolymere, beispielsweise wasserlösliche Polyester, Polyurethane, Polystyrolsulfonate, Polyacrylate oder Ethylenacrylatcopolymere als Matrixpolymere zugesetzt werden. Beispielsweise kann Polyethylendioxythiophen mit Polystyrolsulfonat als Matrixpolymer verwendet werden.
- Es werden aber bevorzugt die Monomere bzw. Vorpolymere zur Bildung der elektrisch leitfähigen Polymere aufgebracht und in situ polymerisiert.
- Wird also Ethylendioxythiophen als Monomer, beispielsweise Baytron® M bzw. Baytron® M-V2 der Fa. H.C. Stark, und Fe(III)toluolsulfonat, beispielsweise Baytron® C- Typen, beispielsweise Baytron® CB-40 der Fa Bayer, als Initiatorund/oder Katalysator verwendet, ist das auf dem Trägersubstrat nach der Polymerisation vorhandene Polymer Polyethylendioxy-thiophen/Toluolsulfonat (PEDT-TS). Sind höhere Schichtdicken vertretbar, kann auch Polyetyhlendioxythiophen/Polystyrolsulfonat verwendet werden.
- Die elektrisch leitfähigen Polymerschichten können je nach Verwendung jeweils eine Dicke von 0,1 - 50 µm, vorzugsweise 0,5 - 10 µm aufweisen. Für bestimmte Verwendungen sind dünnere Schichten von 0,001 - 50 µm, bevorzugt 0,05 -10 µm ohne weiteres herstellbar.
- Ferner sind diese polymeren Schichten ausgezeichnet leitfähig. Die Dehnbarkeit der Schicht kann in Abhängigkeit vom Polymerisationsverfahren variabel gesteuert werden.
- Die elektrisch leitfähigen polymeren Schichten sind im allgemeinen temperaturbeständig, es können ggf. Temperaturbeständigkeiten von -40 ° bis >100° C erreicht werden.
- Mit den elektrisch leitenden Polymerschichten kann gewünschtenfalls eine Transparenz von > 80% erreicht werden.
- Die elektrisch leitfähigen Polymere können auch pigmentiert sein, wobei alle bekannten Pigmente geeignet sind. Soll die Transparenz nicht deutlich beeinflusst werden, sind allerdings stark deckende bzw. färbende Pigmente wie Ruß oder Graphit nicht geeignet.
- Der Anteil an Pigmenten im Festkörper kann bis zu 40% betragen.
- Die magnetischen Eigenschaften der jeweiligen Schicht auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal oder dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments können beispielsweise mit bekannten Magnetpigmentfarben erzeugt werden. Besonders geeignet zur Herstellung von Schichten mit gegebenenfalls variierbaren magnetischen Eigenschaften sind Magnetfarben, die in der Lage sind ein magnetisches Feld mit hoher Flussdichte hervorzurufen oder zu leiten. Der messbare Gradient des magnetischen Flusses wird dann beispielsweise durch Dickenmodulation der magnetischen Schichten oder durch Kombination unterschiedlicher magnetischer Schichten und Substanzen erzeugt.
- Besonders geeignet sind Magnetpigmentfarben mit Pigmenten auf Basis von Fe-oxiden, wie Fe2O3 oder Fe3O4, Eisen, Nickel, Cobalt und deren Legierungen, Barium oder Cobalt-ferrite, hart- und weich magnetische Eisen- und Stahlsorten in wässrigen bzw. lösungsmittelhaltigen Dispersionen. Als Lösungsmittel kommen beispielsweise i-Propanol, Ethylacetat, Methylethylketon, Methoxypropanol und deren Mischungen in Frage.
- Vorzugsweise sind die Pigmente in Acrylat- Polymerdispersionen mit einem Molekulargewicht von 150.000 bis 300.000, in Acrylat-Urethan-Dispersionen, Acrylat- Styrol- oder PVC-haltigen Dispersionen oder in lösemittelhaltigen derartigen Dispersionen eingebracht.
- Insbesondere geeignet sind Magnetfarben mit Pigmenten auf Basis von Cr/Ni-Stahl. Diese Magnetfarben zeigen im Gegensatz zu den konventionellen Magnetfarben, die schwarz, braun oder grau erscheinen, ein silbriges Erscheinungsbild und weisen gleichzeitig die oben beschriebenen erforderlichen magnetischen Eigenschaften auf.
- Dadurch ist es möglich, das für viele Anwendungen erwünschte bzw. erforderliche metallisch glänzende Erscheinungsbild in einem Arbeitsgang bereits durch Verdrucken dieser Magnetfarben zu erzeugen. Ein Überdrucken bzw. Beschichten mit metallischen oder Metall-Schichten zur Erzeugung des gewünschten Erscheinungsbildes ist daher nicht nötig, kann aber beispielsweise zur Einbringung weiterer Identifikationsmerkmale problemlos erfolgen.
- Auf analoge Weise können auch neue optisch wirksame Schichten oder Strukturen durch direkte Überlagerung der auf dem Sicherheitselement vorhandenen und der auf dem Wertpapier vorhandenen optisch wirksamen Schicht oder Struktur erzeugt werden, bzw. können sich die jeweiligen Teilschichten oder Teilstrukturen nach der Applikation bzw. der Einbettung des Sicherheitselements in das Wertdokument zu einer neuen optisch wirksamen Schicht oder Struktur ergänzen.
- Ebenso können gegebenenfalls auch unterschiedliche Merkmale vorerst deckungsgleich auf dem Sicherheitselement bzw. dem Basismaterial des Wertpapiers vorhanden sein, sodass eines der Merkmale vollständig oder teilweise abgedeckt ist. Bei Manipulationsversuchen, wie Dehnen, Bleichen und Ätzen, wird das vorher abgedeckte Merkmal entweder freigelegt oder es wird aus den beiden Merkmalen ein neues Merkmal generiert.
- Die optisch wirksamen Schichten oder Strukturen können auf jeweils jede bekannte Weise hergestellt werden. Vorzugsweise werden diese beugungswirksamen Strukturen jedoch durch Beschichten des Trägersubstrats, das gegebenenfalls bereits eine oder mehrere der beschriebenen Schichten aufweist, mit einem strahlungshärtbaren Lack, der bis zum Gelpunkt durch Anregung mit Strahlung einer definierten Wellenlänge vorgehärtet wird, und gleichzeitige Abformung der Oberflächenstruktur, worauf die weitere Aushärtung (Haupthärtung) des strahlungshärtbaren Lacks durch Anregung Strahlung einer zum Vorhärtungsschritt unterschiedlichen Wellenlänge durchgeführt wird, worauf ggf. eine Nachhärtung erfolgt.
- Auf analoge Weise können optische Effekte, beispielsweise Farbeffekte, Farbverläufe oder Mischfarben durch entsprechende Überlagerung bzw. Ergänzung der jeweils auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal und auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhandenen färbigen oder lumineszierenden Schichten erzeugt werden.
- Die optischen Eigenschaften der jeweiligen Schicht werden durch sichtbare Farbstoffe bzw. Pigmente, lumineszierende Farbstoffe bzw. Pigmente, die im sichtbaren, im UV-Bereich oder im IR-Bereich fluoreszieren bzw. phosphoreszieren, durch TiO2, ZnS, Kaolin, ATO, FTO, Aluminium, Chrom- und Siliziumoxide oder beispielsweise organische Pigmente wie Phthalocyaninblau, i-Indolidingelb und Dioxazinviolett, durch Effektpigmente, wie Flüssigkristalle, Perlglanz, Bronzen und/oder Multilayer-Farbumschlagpigmente und/oder wärmeempfindliche Farben bzw. Pigmente eingestellt. Diese sind in allen möglichen Kombinationen einsetzbar. Zusätzlich können auch diese Pigmente jeweils allein oder in Kombination mit anderen Farbstoffen und/oder Pigmenten eingesetzt werden.
- Ferner können beispielsweise auf beiden Schichten die beschriebenen Merkmale in codierter Form vorhanden sein, wobei erst durch das Zusammenfügen der beiden Schichten der gewünschte auslesbare Code entsteht. So können beispielsweise auf dem Wertdokument und auf dem Sicherheitselement jeweils verkapselte Farbstoffbestandteile vorhanden sein. Beim Zusammenfügen der beiden Elemente gegebenenfalls unter Druck und/oder Temperatur entstehen durch Reaktion der beiden Farbstoffbestandteile die entsprechenden optischen Effekte, beispielsweise Lumineszenzen, wie Fluoreszenzen oder Phosphoreszenzen oder Farbeffekte oder definierte Farbabstufungen oder Mischfarben.
- So können beispielsweise weiße Fluoreszenzen erzeugt werden durch Aufbringen einer roten Fluoreszenz auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments, auf das passer- und registergenau das Sicherheitsmerkmal, das in den entsprechenden Bereichen eine blaue Fluoreszenz aufweist, und anschließendes passer- und registergenaues Überdrucken mit einer grünen Fluoreszenzfarbe oder einem Lack. Es besteht aber auch die Möglichkeit partiell nicht passergenau zu überdrucken, wobei in den nicht passergenau überdruckten Bereichen dann ein fluoreszierender Moirée-Effekt entsteht.
- Auf analoge Weise können Lumineszenzen mit unterschiedlicher Nachleuchtzeit erzeugt werden.
- Ferner können auf dem Sicherheitsmerkmal und auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments jeweils Schichten mit unterschiedlichen Anteilen an langwellig und kurzwellig anregbaren Farben vorhanden sein, wobei bei Anregung im gesamten Wellenlängenbereich ein charakteristischer Effekt entsteht.
- Zur Herstellung von weiteren fälschungssicheren Identifikationsmerkmalen kann auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments eine elektromagnetische Wellen reflektierende Schicht und eine transparente beispielsweise polymere, oxidische oder sulfidische Abstandsschicht aufgebracht sein. Auf das Sicherheitsmerkmal kann dann eine Schicht aus metallischen Clustern aufgebracht sein. Durch passergenaues Zusammenfügen von Sicherheitsmerkmal und Basismaterial des Wertdokuments erscheint dann nach dem Schlüssel/Schloss-Prinzip ein charakteristischer Farbeffekt.
- Ebenso ist es möglich jeweils in oder an der Oberfläche der beiden Elemente (Sicherheitselement und Basismaterial des Wertdokuments) entsprechende Teile von DNA-Codierungen vorzusehen, die nach dem Zusammenfügen der beiden Elemente nach dem Schlüssel-Schloss-Prinzip eine eindeutige unverwechselbare Codierung, z.B. in Form charakteristischer Fluoreszenzen ergeben.
- Ebenso kann das Sicherheitselement eine Schicht oder Struktur aufweisen, die beim Aufbringen bzw. Einbetten in das Wertdokument oder bei Herstellung des Basismaterials des Wertdokuments mit einer auf dem Basismaterial befindlichen Schicht oder Struktur reagiert und erst so erkennbar wird.
- Die beschriebenen Merkmale können einzeln oder auch kombiniert erzeugt werden.
- Ferner können die Sicherheitselemente mit einer Schutzlackschicht ein- oder beidseitig versehen sein. Der Schutzlack kann pigmentiert oder nicht pigmentiert sein, wobei als Pigmente alle bekannte Pigmente oder Farbstoffe, beispielsweise TiO2, ZnS, Kaolin, ATO, FTO, Aluminium, Chrom- und Siliziumoxide oder beispielsweise organische Pigmente wie Phthalocyaninblau, i-Indolidingelb und Dioxazinviolett verwendet werden können. Ferner können lumineszierende Farbstoffe bzw. Pigmente, die im sichtbaren, im UV-Bereich oder im IR-Bereich fluoreszieren bzw. phosphoreszieren, Effektpigmente, wie Flüssigkristalle, Perlglanz, Bronzen und/oder Multilayer-Farbumschlagpigmente und wärmeempfindliche Farben bzw. Pigmente zugegeben werden. Diese sind in allen möglichen Kombinationen einsetzbar. Zusätzlich können auch phosphoreszierende Pigmente allein oder in Kombination mit anderen Farbstoffen und/oder Pigmenten eingesetzt werden.
- Die Applikation bzw. die vollständige oder teilweise Einbettung des Sicherheitselements auf bzw. in das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments kann je nach gewünschtem Effekt passergenau erfolgen
- Das passergenaue Aufbringen erfolgt vorzugsweise mittels eines registergesteuerten Verfahrens, wobei die auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhandenen Registermarken über die Fläche vermessen werden, die Rollenlänge entsprechend eingestellt und das Sicherheitsmerkmal passergenau appliziert wird. Die Registermarken sind höchst präzise positioniert, die Applikation kann mittels einer Applikationsmaschine, oder beispielsweise bei der Applikation von Patches, durch x/y-gesteuerte Applikationsstempel, oder einen Prägekopf erfolgen.
- Das Wertdokument kann anschließend mit einer bekannten Beschichtung zur Erhöhung der Umlauffähigkeit oder einem Schutzlack oder einer Schutzfolie versehen werden.
- Ferner kann das erfindungsgemäße Sicherheitselement im Randbereich von Wertdokumenten gegebenenfalls passergenau zu der auf dem Wertdokument vorhandenen Schicht oder Struktur aufgebracht werden und gleichzeitig als Randverstärkung eingesetzt werden, wobei dadurch sowohl ein fälschungssicheres Sicherheitsmerkmal erzeugt wird, als auch die Umlauffähigkeit des Wertdokuments erhöht wird.

- Wertdokument mit Sicherheitselement, wobei das Sicherheitselement gedruckte oder metallisierte Linienraster oder Feinstrukturen aufweist, die Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen bilden, die mit den auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments aufgebrachten gedruckten Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen jeweils durch register- und passergenaue Applikation auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments und/oder zumindest teilweise register- und passergenaue Einbettung in das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments eine aus den Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen gebildete visuell oder maschinell erkennbare vollständige Information bilden.
- Wertdokument nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vollständige Information- durch Überlagerung oder Ergänzung der Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen auf dem Sicherheitselement und dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments visuell oder maschinell erkennbar sind.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch Überlagerung oder Ergänzung der Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen auf dem Sicherheitselement und dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments definierte maschinell erkennbare elektrisch leitfähige Eigenschaften entstehen.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch Überlagerung oder Ergänzung der Teilstrukturen bzw. Teilinformationen auf dem Sicherheitselement und dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments definierte maschinell erkennbare magnetische Eigenschaften entstehen.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch Überlagerung oder Ergänzung der beiden Teilstrukturen definierte visuell oder maschinell erkennbare optische Eigenschaften oder Strukturen entstehen.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch Überlagerung oder Ergänzung der beiden Teilstrukturen definierte DNA-codierte Eigenschaften oder Strukturen entstehen.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere unterschiedliche funktionelle Merkmale auf dem Sicherheitselement und dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments vorhanden sind.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch Überdrucken des Sicherheitselements und des Basismaterials des Wertdokuments nach der Applikation des Sicherheitselements auf dem Basismaterial des Wertdokuments ein erstes oder ein zusätzliches Identifikationsmerkmal erzeugt wird.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sicherheitselement ein latentes Merkmal aufweist, das erst durch Manipulationsversuche erkennbar wird.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sicherheitselement ein- oder beidseitig mit einer Schutzlackschicht versehen ist.
- Wertdokument nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schutzlackschicht pigmentiert ist.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 10 oder 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sicherheitselement zumindest in einem Randbereich des Wertdokuments appliziert oder zumindest teilweise eingebettet ist.
- Wertdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sicherheitselement und das Basismaterial nach Applikation des Sicherheitsetements auf das Basismaterial des Wertdokuments zur Erzeugung eines ersten oder zusätzlichen Identifikationsmerkmals mit einer weiteren Schicht oder Struktur vollflächig oder partiell überdruckt ist.
