Claims (5)

  1. Procédé de traitement de pièces de courrier (7) dans un système d'insertion, le procédé comprenant :
    le transport d'enveloppes (7) dans une position horizontale dans une première direction ;
    la réorientation des enveloppes (7) de la position horizontale à une position verticale ;
    le renvoi et le transport des enveloppes (7) orientées verticalement dans une deuxième direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à la première direction ;
    l'entraînement en élévation des enveloppes orientées verticalement en les transportant sur une rampe (2) dans la deuxième direction ;
    le renvoi et le transport des enveloppes (7) élevées et orientées verticalement dans une troisième direction qui est sensiblement dans la direction opposée à la deuxième direction ;
    le tri des enveloppes (7) dans des cases (4) de tri pendant qu'elles se déplacent dans la troisième direction.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de montée d'une enveloppe sur la rampe (2) comprend en outre l'utilisation de transitions entre des parties en rampes et plates d'un élément de transport permettant aux enveloppes de pivoter et de rester sensiblement en alignement droit avec une surface de l'élément de transport tout en s'élevant sur la rampe et après avoir quitté la rampe.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel l'étape d'utilisation de transitions comprend en outre la prise des enveloppes dans une paire d'éléments de pincement (20, 21), au moins l'un des éléments de pincement de la paire ayant une surface extérieure toroïdale (201);
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1, comprenant en outre le montage de dispositifs pour exécuter les étapes de réorientation et de renvoi dans la deuxième direction sur une base commune, et de réglage de la base commune perpendiculairement à la première direction et le long des deuxième et troisième directions pour effectuer un réglage pour des enveloppes (7) de différentes tailles devant être transportées.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de renvoi de la deuxième direction à la troisième direction comprend le renvoi des enveloppes (7) vers un côté de la rampe qui est proximal vers des modules de traitement en amont dans le système d'insertion.
