Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung für Obst und Gemüse, insbesondere Spargel, umfassend eine selbsttragende Schale und eine mit dieser luftdicht verbundene Folie.The invention relates to a packaging for fruits and vegetables, in particular asparagus, comprising a self-supporting shell and a film associated with this airtight.
Wenn in einer solchen herkömmlichen Verpackung Obst oder Gemüse verpackt wird, dann befindet sich dieses unter einem totalen Luftabschluß. Das Fehlen von jeglichem Luftaustausch begünstigt jedoch das Wachstum von Schimmelpilzen. Beispielsweise verschimmelt Spargel bereits nach 2 Tagen, wenn er absolut luftdicht verpackt wird. Die Folie 2 ist mit einer Vielzahl von Öffnungen oder Perforationen 3 versehen, die in einer oder mehreren Reihen angeordnet sein können. Mit einer solchen Verpackung wurden mehrere Versuche mit Folien durchgeführt, die sich hinsichtlich der Größe und Anzahl der Öffnungen unterschieden. In allen Fällen wurde eine Schale aus Polypropylen mit den Abmessungen 190 x 144 x 83 mm und eine Deckelfolie aus Polyethylen mit einer Stärke von 65 µm und einer Fläche von 27.360 mm2 verwendet. In diesen Verpackungen wurde frisch geschälter Spargel aus dem Anbaugebiet Schrobenhausen verpackt.
