Description

  • La présente invention concerne une feuille de matière fibreuse comportant un segment de film en matière plastique au moins partiellement encastré dans la matière fibreuse, et un procédé d'insertion d'un segment de film en matière plastique dans une matière fibreuse.
  • ARRIERE PLAN DE L'INVENTION
  • Pour la sécurisation des documents réalisés à partir d'une feuille en matière fibreuse, il est connu d'insérer dans la feuille lors de sa fabrication un fil ou un ruban de sécurité ayant une composition différente de celle de la matière fibreuse pour réaliser, au moins par transparence, un contraste avec l'ensemble de la matière fibreuse formant le document. En particulier, il est connu d'introduire un fil ou un ruban en matière plastique dans un papier réalisé à partir de fibres de cellulose en suspension dans un liquide. Afin que les fibres en suspension se déposent convenablement sur le ruban de sécurité lors de l'égouttage du papier, la largeur maximale du ruban est limitée à environ 3 mm.
  • Par ailleurs, afin d'augmenter la sécurité, il est connu de réaliser sur le ruban de sécurité des inscriptions sous forme d'un dépôt métallique ou coloré, selon un texte ou un motif permettant d'assurer une authentification du ruban et par-là même une authentification du document. Toutefois, la faible largeur du ruban de sécurité rend difficile la lecture des éléments d'authentification.
  • Afin d'augmenter la largeur du ruban de sécurité tout en permettant une insertion convenable de celui-ci dans le papier, il a été proposé dans le document WO 03/085193 d'insérer dans le papier lors de sa fabrication un segment du film en matière plastique comprenant une zone d'identification visible sur au moins une face de la feuille, le segment étant perforé en dehors de la zone d'identification pour permettre à des fibres de s'imbriquer dans les perforations. Toutefois, la présence d'une zone d'identification de dimensions suffisamment importantes pour être visible tend à diminuer la porosité du ruban et rend donc difficile l'insertion de ce ruban lors de la fabrication du papier.
  • L'état de la technique est également illustré par les documents EP 0 860 298 , GB 19963 .
  • OBJET DE L'INVENTION
  • Un but de l'invention est de réaliser une feuille de matière fibreuse comportant un segment de film convenablement encastré dans la matière fibreuse indépendamment des moyens utilisés pour l'identification.
  • RESUME DE L'INVENTION
  • En vue de la réalisation de ce but on propose selon l'invention une feuille de matière fibreuse comportant un segment de film en matière plastique comportant des perforations réparties sur une partie perforée du segment de film recouverte par la matière fibreuse de sorte que des fibres soient imbriquées dans les perforations, caractérisée en ce que la partie perforée comporte des perforations de tailles différentes réparties de façon que la partie perforée ait une porosité sensiblement homogène.
  • Ainsi, on s'assure d'un recouvrement par une couche homogène de matière fibreuse tout en permettant une authentification par une analyse de la répartition des perforations.
  • Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, celle-ci concerne un procédé d'insertion d'un segment de film en matière plastique dans une feuille de matière fibreuse, ce procédé comportant une étape de formation d'au moins une couche fibreuse sur une forme poreuse à partir d'un bain de fibres en suspension dans un liquide, et une étape d'insertion, dans la feuille de matière fibreuse en cours de réalisation, d'un segment de film comportant une partie perforée destinée à être recouverte par la matière fibreuse et compact des perforations ayant des dimensions les perforations lors d'un écoulement du liquide à travers les perforations, caractérisé en ce que les perforations ont des tailles différentes et sont réparties dans la partie perforée de sorte que celle-ci présente une porosité sensiblement homogène, voisine de la porosité de la forme poreuse.
  • Ainsi, dans la partie perforée, le segment de film n'affecte pas le débit d'écoulement du liquide portant les fibres en suspension de sorte que le recouvrement de la partie perforée du segment de film par les fibres s'effectue de façon homogène.

    DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTION
  • En référence aux figures, la feuille de matière fibreuse 1 selon l'invention comporte un segment de film, ici un ruban 2, encastré dans la matière fibreuse à l'exception d'une fenêtre 3.
  • Dans le mode de réalisation illustré, le ruban 2 est découpé à partir d'un film 4 en matière plastique, par exemple un film transparent en polyester, préalable-ment revêtu sur au moins une face (ici sur chaque face) dans des zones 5 (dont une seule est représentée sur la figure 1) avec des couches métalliques 6, déposées par exemple par sérigraphie en utilisant un écran configuré pour réaliser une réserve délimitant la fenêtre 3 et pour réaliser dans la fenêtre un motif métallisé 7, reproduisant ici les lettres BdF. Le film 4 et les couches métalliques 6 sont en outre perforées en dehors de la fenêtre 3 selon une série de perforations réparties de façon que la partie perforée ait une porosité sensiblement homogène et de préférence au moins égale à une porosité d'une forme utilisée pour la réalisation de la feuille de matière fibreuse ainsi qu'il sera vu plus loin.
  • Dans le mode de réalisation illustré, le film comporte une série de trous 8 ayant un diamètre d'environ 500 µm espacés d'une distance de 1000 µm et régulièrement répartis à l'exception d'une part de la fenêtre 3 et d'autre part d'une zone 9 délimitée par un trait mixte dans laquelle un motif est formé en utilisant des perforations 10 de plus petit diamètre et plus rapprochées les unes des autres, ici les lettres BdF réalisées selon des perforations ayant un diamètre de 150 µm espacées de 300 µm. On remarquera sur la figure qu'en dehors du motif réalisé par les perforations 10, le film peut également comporter des perforations 8 intercalées afin que la porosité du ruban soit homogène dans la zone 9 sans perturber la reconnaissance du motif formé par les perforations 10. Dans le mode de réalisation de la figure 4 les perforations 16 sont de forme allongée. Comme les perforations 8 ou 10, les perforations 16 traversent le film 4 et les couches métalliques 6. Dans le mode de réalisation illustré, les perforations 16 sont en forme de fentes rectilignes ou curvilignes, ou ont des formes complexes permettant de constituer un motif. A titre d'exemple la perforation 16 constituant la partie centrale du F a une forme en T. Dans l'exemple illustré les perforations 16 ont une largeur e égale à 150 µm et une longueur L égale à 1 500 µm.
  • L'incorporation du ruban 2 à la feuille de matière fibreuse est effectuée de façon connue en soi en utilisant une machine à papier comprenant une forme poreuse 11 comprenant des plots étanches 12 ayant les dimensions des fenêtres 3. La forme poreuse 11 est immergée dans un bain de liquide 13 comportant des fibres en suspension de façon à réaliser une première couche fibreuse 14 en contact avec la forme poreuse 11 et une seconde couche fibreuse 15 recouvrant le ruban 2 à l'exception des emplacements des fenêtres 3. On notera à ce propos qu'à l'aplomb du ruban 2 le liquide passe à travers les perforations 8 et 10 et entraîne de ce fait des fibres qui s'imbriquent dans les perforations et réalisent donc un ancrage du ruban 2 dans la feuille de matière fibreuse.
  • Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée au mode de réalisation illustré et on peut y apporter des variantes de réalisation sans sortir du cadre de l'invention tel que défini par les revendications.
  • En particulier, bien que l'invention ait été illustrée en prévoyant dans le ruban 2 des fenêtres transparentes 3 non recouvertes par les fibres lors de la formation de la feuille de papier, on peut prévoir un ruban 2 perforé sur toute sa surface et totalement noyé dans la masse fibreuse ou visible à la surface de celle-ci par affleurement.
  • Bien que dans le mode de réalisation illustré sur la figure 1 les perforations soient circulaires et soient réalisées selon deux dimensions seulement, on peut prévoir de réaliser des motifs en utilisant des perforations de différentes formes et de différentes dimensions, la taille des perforations étant de préférence comprise entre 100 µm et 1000 µm et les perforations étant espacées d'une distance de préférence comprise entre 200 µm et 2000 µm de façon à permettre une imbrication de fibres dans les perforations et obtenir une porosité équivalente à celle de la forme 11 tout en conservant au ruban 2 une résistance mécanique suffisante. Dans le cas de perforations en forme de fentes comme les perforations 16, la plus petite dimension est de préférence comprise entre 100 µm et 1000 µm tandis que la plus grande dimension est de préférence comprise entre 1000 µm et 5000 µm, les perforations étant comme précédemment espacées d'une distance de préférence comprise entre 200 µm et 2000 µm.
  • Bien que dans le mode de réalisation illustré les perforations 10 aient été disposées pour réaliser un motif directement reconnaissable par transparence, on peut réaliser au moyen des perforations un encodage comme décrit dans le brevet FR 2 843 072 au nom de la Banque de France.
  • Bien que le film 4 ait été décrit sous forme d'un film en matière plastique totalement transparent partiellement métallisé, il peut également être coloré tout en étant transparent, translucide ou opaque ou être fluorescent, ou encore comporter des images diffractives ou holographiques. Le film peut être incorporé à la feuille de matière fibreuse sous forme de segments ponctuels, par exemple sous forme de timbres servant le cas échéant à supporter d'autres éléments de sécurité tels que des puces électroniques. Dans ce dernier cas, le timbre portant une puce électronique est de préférence déposé sur une première couche fibreuse humide après formation complète de celle-ci et avant le dépôt d'une seconde couche fibreuse, l'imbrication de fibres dans les perforations se faisant lors du pressage final des deux couches fibreuses l'une contre l'autre.

Claims (7)

  1. Feuille de matière fibreuse (1) comportant un segment de film (2) en matière plastique comportant des perforations (8, 10) réparties sur une partie perforée du segment de film recouverte par la matière fibreuse de sorte que des fibres soient imbriquées dans les perforations (8,10), caractérisée en ce que la partie perforée comporte des perforations de tailles différentes réparties de façon que la partie perforée ait une porosité sensiblement homogène.
  2. Feuille de matière fibreuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce qu'au moins certaines des perforations (10) forme un motif reconnaissable.
  3. Feuille de matière fibreuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les perforations (8, 10) ont une taille comprise entre 100 µm et 1000 µm et sont espacées d'une distance comprise entre 200 µm et 2000 µm.
  4. Feuille de matière fibreuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que certaines des perforations (16) sont de forme allongée.
  5. Feuille de matière fibreuse selon la revendication 4, caractérisée en ce que les perforations de forme allongée (16) ont une dimension minimale comprise entre 100 µm et 1000 µm, et une dimension maximale comprise entre 1000 µm et 5000 µm, et sont espacées d'une distance comprise entre 200 µm et 2000 µm.
  6. Feuille de matière fibreuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le segment de film (2) comporte des zones métallisées sur au moins une face et en ce que les perforations (8, 10) s'étendent pour traverser lesdites zones métallisées.
  7. Procédé d'insertion d'un segment de film (2) en matière plastique dans une feuille de matière fibreuse (1), comportant une étape de formation d'au moins une couche fibreuse (14) sur une forme poreuse à partir d'un bain (13) de fibres en suspension dans un liquide, et une étape d'insertion, dans la feuille de matière fibreuse en cours de réalisation, d'un segment de film (2) comportant une partie perforée destinée à être recouverte par la matière fibreuse et comportant des perforations (8,10) ayant des dimensions suffisantes pour permettre un imbrication de fibres dans les perforations lors d'un écoulement du liquide à travers les perforations, caractérisé en ce que les perforations ont des tailles différentes et sont réparties dans la partie perforée de sorte que celle-ci présente une porosité sensiblement homogène, voisine de la porosité de la forme poreuse (11).
