  • An outer portion of upward facing shoulder surface 38 of band 37 contacts and is engaged with downward facing shoulder surface 26 of insert 24 so that dispenser 34 cannot easily be raised and pulled out of insert 24.
  • Base 35 of dispenser 34 contacts and is engaged with base 30 of insert 24 to form a fluid tight seal. The seal prevents cosmetics from leaking out around base 35 of dispenser 34 when the cosmetics are exiting hole 32 and flowing into dispenser tube 42.
  • cosmetics can flow from vessel 11, out of hole 32, through dispensing tube 42, out of opening 46, and into applicator 43.
  • cosmetic flow to applicator 43 can be aided and enhanced if the user applies pressure to vessel 11.
  • Vessel 11 is preferably formed of a flexible and resilient material such as polypropylene, so that it may be easily squeezed by the user and is capable of returning to its original shape.
  • cap 16 when assembly 10 is not in use, cap 16 will typically be placed over applicator 43 to protect applicator 43 from dust and other contaminants.
  • the bottom end of engagement member 44 contacts an exposed portion of upward facing shoulder 38 on band 37 of dispenser 34.
  • Member 44 pushes down and places pressure upon band 37 and forces dispenser 34 downward into increased engagement with base 30 of insert 24.

  • the pressure placed upon base 30 by the increased force will result in about 0.5 mm of stretching. This stretching causes the sides of hole 32 in base 30 to come together, and hole 32 will close substantially or completely shut.
  • base 35 of dispenser 34 engages base 30 of insert 24 in one or more locations to a significant degree and forms a fluid tight seal that further blocks any small flow of cosmetic from vessel 11 from leaking from assembly 10.

Claims (6)

  1. Assemblage distributeur de produits cosmétiques (10), l'assemblage comprenant:
    un corps de récipient (11) pour stocker un produit cosmétique, le corps comportant une ouverture de distribution:
    un insert ayant une forme généralement en coupelle (24), comportant un intérieur creux, l'insert (24) étant fixé sur l'ouverture de distribution (16) du récipient;
    un distributeur (34), comportant une première base (35) avec une ouverture (46) qui y est formée et un applicateur (43) qui y est monté;
    le distributeur (34) étant au moins en partie agencé dans l'intérieur creux de l'insert (24) et pouvant être déplacé par rapport à l'insert (24), d'une positon ouverte dans laquelle l'ouverture (46) dans la première base (35) du distributeur (34) est ouverte, vers une position fermée dans laquelle l'ouverture (46) dans la première base (35) du distributeur est fermée; et
    un capuchon amovible (46), s'engageant dans le distributeur (34) pour déplacer le distributeur (34) vers la position fermée;
    caractérisé par
    une deuxième base (30) composée d'un matériau élastique, agencée dans l'insert (24), comportant un trou (32) à travers lequel le produit cosmétique peut s'écouler dans l'ouverture (46) dans la première base (35) du distributeur (34) lorsque le distributeur se trouve dans la position ouverte;
    la deuxième base (30) agencée dans l'insert (24) étant comprimée lorsque le capuchon (46) contacte le distributeur et déplace le distributeur vers la position fermée,
    l'ouverture (46) dans la première base (35) du distributeur (34) étant ainsi fermée.
  2. Assemblage selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le distributeur (34) comporte une surface d'épaulement orientée vers le haut (38), l'insert comportant une surface d'épaulement orientée vers le bas (26), la surface d'épaulement orientée vers le bas (26) contactant la surface d'épaulement orientée vers le haut (38) lorsque le distributeur (34) se trouve dans la position ouverte.
  3. Assemblage selon les revendications 1 ou 2, dans lequel un ressort (54) est agencé entre l'insert (24) et le distributeur (34), la première base (35) du distributeur étant poussée à l'écart de l'insert (24).
  4. Assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le récipient (11) comporte un col (14) contenant l'ouverture du distributeur.
  5. Assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le distributeur (34) comporte un tube (46) qui y est monté et s'étend dans un applicateur (43) débordant du distributeur (34).
  6. Assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la deuxième base (30) composée d'un matériau élastique est composée de silicone.
