- the pulse width modulator 7 ensures that the beginning of each conduction time t m is strictly synchronized with the load voltage or its measured variable u lo ', ie the semiconductor switches are always synchronized with the zero crossing of the load voltage. A synchronized operation of the system is thus ensured even if the resonance frequency f o changes , for example as a result of changing the resonant circuit parameters.
- the synchronized pulse width modulator 7 has an input for specifying a maximum modulation factor limit value m lim , which is predetermined by a current limiter 9.
- the current limiter 9 forms this modulation factor limit value lim as a function of the measured value I ⁇ 'supplied to it on the input side in accordance with the resonant circuit input current I ⁇ .
- This additional measure ensures that the semiconductor switches are not loaded with too high a current, ie the conduction durations t m of the semiconductor switches are predetermined in such a way that safe and optimal operation of the induction furnace or of the inductor is guaranteed under all operating conditions.
- FIG. 12 shows different time profiles of variables of interest (current, voltages) for two different operating points and thus as a function of the triggering of the semiconductor switches.

Description

2B bzw. 2C sind wechselstromseitig über Koppeldrosseln 14A bzw. 14B bzw. 14C parallelgeschaltet. Die Induktivität einer Koppeldrossel 14A bzw. 14B bzw. 14C beträgt jeweils LC. Die Wechselrichter-Ausgangsströme der Wechselrichter 2A bzw. 2B bzw. 2C betragen IA bzw. IB bzw. IC. Der Gesamt-Wechselrichter-Ausgangsstrom IΣ beträgt
- C2
- Kapazität des Resonanzkondensators 18
- LI
- Induktivität der ohmsch-induktiven Last 16
- RI
- Ohmscher Widerstand der ohmsch-induktiven Last 16
- IΣ
- durchgezogener Linienzug = Schwingkreis-Eingangsstrom
- UINVERTER
- strichpunktierter Linienzug = Wechselrichter-Ausgangsspannung an 2A, 2B, 2C
- UC1
- gestrichelter Linienzug = Resonanzkondensatorspannung an 17
- URL
- gepunkteter Linienzug = Lastspannung an 16
