Claims (19)

  1. Procédé pour appliquer un produit supplémentaire (5) au moins approximativement plat sur au moins une surface latérale de branches latérales, qui pendent de part et d'autre vers le bas, d'un produit imprimé (3) transporté reposant à califourchon sur une chaîne transporteuse circulante (2), selon lequel le produit supplémentaire (5) est apporté au moyen d'un organe d'alimentation (14) à la surface latérale au moins unique et est appliqué sur celle-ci dans une direction de transport et à une vitesse au moins approximativement de même sens, caractérisé en ce que la branche latérale est soulevée dans une position approximativement horizontale et est soutenue dans cette position par une surface de soutien (4a, 4a'), et en ce que le produit supplémentaire (5) est fixé à une bande transporteuse sans fin (8) de l'organe d'alimentation (14), une extrémité de délivrance de l'organe d'alimentation (14) est posée sur la surface de soutien (4a, 4a') et le produit supplémentaire (5) est appliqué sur la branche latérale du produit imprimé (3) en exerçant une pression d'application.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité de délivrance de l'organe d'alimentation (14) est, conformément à la position dans laquelle le produit supplémentaire (5) doit être appliqué sur la branche latérale du produit imprimé (3), déplacée horizontalement dans une direction de transport (11) de la chaîne transporteuse (2) et transversalement à cette direction de transport (11).
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le produit supplémentaire (5) peut être appliqué de manière autoadhésive sur le produit imprimé (3).
  4. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que le produit supplémentaire (5) est apporté à au moins une surface latérale d'une branche latérale.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que le produit supplémentaire (5) est respectivement apporté par le dessus à une surface latérale.
  6. Procédé selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que le produit supplémentaire (5) est respectivement apporté par le dessous à une surface latérale.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 5 ou 6, caractérisé en ce que la surface latérale située à l'arrière de la surface latérale à alimenter est soutenue lors de l'application du produit supplémentaire (5).
  8. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce qu'un produit supplémentaire (5) est respectivement apporté à au moins deux surfaces latérales.
  9. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que le produit imprimé (3) est soulevé par un organe de guidage (4, 4') agissant sur au moins une surface latérale intérieure d'une branche latérale.
  10. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que le produit imprimé (3) est, lors du soulèvement d'une/des branches latérales, de l'application du produit supplémentaire (5) et de l'abaissement d'une/des branches latérales, maintenu sur la chaîne transporteuse (2) par un serre-flan.
  11. Dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 10, avec une chaîne transporteuse (2) entraînée en circulation, qui est pourvue d'un support en forme de selle pour les produits imprimés (3) transportés à califourchon et d'entraîneurs (16), et avec un organe d'alimentation (14) au moyen duquel un produit supplémentaire (5) peut être apporté à au moins une surface latérale du produit imprimé (3) et peut être appliqué sur celle-ci dans une direction de transport et à une vitesse au moins approximativement de même sens, caractérisé en ce qu'un organe de guidage (4, 4'), produisant le soulèvement d'au moins une branche latérale du produit imprimé (3), et l'organe d'alimentation (14), associé à cet organe de guidage sur le côté opposé de la branche latérale soulevée en position horizontale, sont disposés le long de la chaîne transporteuse (2), sachant que l'organe d'alimentation (14) présente une extrémité de délivrance tournée vers une surface de soutien approximativement horizontale (4a, 4a') de l'organe de guidage (4, 4'), ainsi qu'une bande transporteuse sans fin (8), conçue comme élément porteur des produits supplémentaires transportés (5), prenant en charge les produits supplémentaires (5) dans une pile (22) et les apportant à la surface latérale soulevée d'une branche latérale, bande transporteuse à laquelle les produits supplémentaires (5) peuvent être fixés, et sachant que l'extrémité de délivrance de la bande transporteuse (8) repose sur la surface de soutien (4a, 4a').
  12. Dispositif selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que l'organe de guidage (4, 4') est réalisé sous la forme d'un volet relevable ou d'une coulisse de guidage stationnaire, agissant sur une surface latérale intérieure d'une branche latérale et à pente ascendante croissante dans la direction de transport.
  13. Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que la coulisse de guidage débouche dans une surface de soutien approximativement horizontale.
  14. Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que le volet relevable est conçu comme surface de soutien.
  15. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 14, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'alimentation (14) est disposé à déplacement horizontal dans une direction de transport (11) de la chaîne collectrice (2) et transversalement à cette direction de transport (11).
  16. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 15, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'alimentation (14) peut être positionné au choix sur chacun des deux côtés de la chaîne transporteuse (2).
  17. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 16, caractérisé en ce qu'un organe d'alimentation respectif (14) peut être positionné sur chacun des deux côtés de la chaîne transporteuse (2).
  18. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 17, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'alimentation (14) présente une extrémité de prélèvement qui, afin de prendre en charge un produit supplémentaire respectif (5), est reliée de manière active pour le transport à des produits supplémentaires (5) empilés dans un magasin.
  19. Dispositif selon la revendication 18, caractérisé en ce que le magasin présente deux compartiments ou emplacements d'empilage disposés en juxtaposition latéralement par rapport à la direction de transport, auxquels un organe d'alimentation peut être raccordé.
