Definitions
- the present invention relates to a drill bit for a Auger with a cutting helix.
- Such drill bits are known and used in a variety used by embodiments of earth drills.
- Object of the present invention is to provide a drill bit which is simple in construction with good drilling action.
- a drill bit of the type specified above is according to the invention further developed in that the cutting spiral by at least formed two substantially triangular cutting helical plates is, which are arranged tilted to each other.
- the cutting helix essentially of two mutually inclined To form cutting spiral plates, which preferably a triangular shape exhibit.
- a triangular form is here in principle each tooth-like shape with an outward pointing tip Understood.
- drill bit according to the invention with a minimum of material and production costs and thus particularly cost-effective can be produced.
- the drill bit according to the invention is therefore particularly well suited for applications as "lost Bohrspitze", where she after drilling the hole in the well remains.
- Drill point are the cutting spiral plates on a center plate attached.
- This variant is structurally very simple and thus cost feasible.
- the center plate and the Cutting spiral plates are preferably made of steel plates, in particular cut, and welded together.
- the stability of the structure as a whole can be further increased if the center plate provided with a profiling is.
- the center plate with bends as profiling to provide For example, one can essentially rectangular steel plate can be used as center plate, in the profiling in the middle two bends transverse to the longitudinal side are incorporated.
- the drilling action of the drill bit according to the invention can be improved when the center plate is an axially projecting Pointed.
- the center plate is an axially projecting Pointed.
- this peak may be between be provided two folds of the center plate.
- the center plate can in principle be rotationally fixed directly to a Drill pipe to be attached.
- Preferred is in the inventive Drill bit for attachment to a drill pipe but a pipe body intended. This may, for example, to act a short piece of pipe on steel, with the drill pipe can be connected rotatably. Through the tube body is increases the stability of the structure and it is thereby longer Service life achievable.
- a seal in particular in a provided for this purpose annular groove, for sealing against the Be provided drill pipe.
- the tube body can in the Insert drill pipe or pushed over the drill pipe.
- the cutting helix plate can be directly attached to the pipe main body be attached. Also designs with more than two mutually tilted arranged Schneidchtlplatten are possible.
- the center plate rotatably disposed on the pipe body. To the fixing Recording the center plate is the tube body then preferably provided with lateral slots.
- two cutting helical plates each from a substantially square plate produced.
- the drill bit according to the invention can then be with a minimum of material costs practically without material loss and thus produce very cost-effective overall.
- the drilling effect is also advantageous when the outside diameter of the through the cutting helical plates formed cutting helix about 2.5 to 3.5 times, preferably 2.8 to 3.2 times the outer diameter of the Tube body is.
- Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a particularly simple design a drill bit 10 according to the invention on each other opposite sides of a center plate 16 are two cutting helical plates 14 welded to each other tilted.
- the center plate 16 and the cutting helical plates 14 are made of steel plates.
- the cutting helical plates 14 have approximately a triangular shape on.
- the center plate 16 can by suitable slots, which in a Receiving are formed on the drill pipe, rotationally fixed to the Drill pipe are held.
- a pipe base body 24 with closure plate 25 is welded.
- the tube body 24 serves for tight completion of the drill pipe.
- the in the center plate 16 arranged holes 27 serve to receive driving pin of the drill pipe for torque transmission. That shown in Fig. 1 Embodiment is with minimal material and Manufacture manufacturing effort and is therefore particularly suitable good for missions as a "lost drill tip".
- FIGS. 2 to 3 A second embodiment of a drill bit according to the invention will be described in connection with FIGS. 2 to 3. Equivalent components are given the same reference numerals as indicated in Fig. 1.
- Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of the invention Drill bit 10. As described in connection with FIG Example is a cutting helix through two Cutting spiral plates 14 formed on opposite each other Sides of a center plate 16 are welded. As From Fig. 2 can be seen, close the two cutting helical plates 14 an angle 30, which is preferably about 20 °.
- a Pipe body 24 is provided.
- the tube body 24 is made essentially a short tubular steel piece.
- the outer diameter 32 formed by the cutting helical plates 14 Cutting spiral 12 is, as shown in FIG. 3, about three times the outer diameter 34 of the tube body 24.
- the cutting helical plates 14 are on opposite Side of a center plate 16 welded. These Center plate 16 is in slots 26 of the pipe base body 24th taken and thus rotatably connected to the pipe body 24.
- a tip 20 also referred to as a centering tip can be trained.
- These bends 18 is in easily achieved a significant increase in stability.
- the cutting helical plates 14 substantially the shape of equilateral right triangles on. As can be seen directly from Fig. 3, can also here the two cutting helical plates 14 of a square Steel plate are produced.
- the cutting helical plates 14 In addition, each supported on helically rising stop areas From 28, which formed on the pipe base body 24 are. Through these helically rising stop areas 28 will be excellent stability and therefore special long service life possible.
- FIG. 5 and 6 An example of an open tube body 24 for an inventive Drill bit is shown in Figs. 5 and 6 schematically shown.
- the tube body 24 consists essentially from a piece of pipe 25, on one side with the top described helical stop portions 28 for supporting the cutting helical plates 14 and also with two opposite each other arranged slots 26 is provided to the Recording the center plate 16 serve.
- the pipe section 25 is also provided with a total of three openings 38, the non-rotatable Connecting the pipe base body 24 with a drill pipe can serve. For example, this can be suitable bolts be inserted into the openings 38.
- the invention provides a new drill bit for an auger provided, which is very simple and with a minimum of material and production costs and thus overall can be produced very inexpensively.
- the inventive Drill bit is therefore particularly well suited for applications where the drill bit after insertion the hole remains in the borehole.
