Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the mounting and fixing of a window on a railway vehicle traveling at high speed.
In order to improve the aerodynamic vehicles, we seek to achieve cars with as little roughness as possible. Cars are therefore equipped with flush glazing that does not present overflow or withdrawal from the outside of the crate of the vehicle. A sealant putty is installed between the space available between the outer face of the glazing and the opening of the window in the vehicle's box.
- either from the inside of the vehicle which makes it possible to reduce the width of the cord but requires disassembly of the interior linings during the operations of replacing a window,
- or by the outside of the vehicle which facilitates the operations of replacing a window because it is not necessary to disassemble the interior liners but requires the establishment of a wide bead of mastic which increases the duration immobilization during maintenance operations,
- either by installing a glass trumeau between two window panes, which requires more rooms and therefore increase the channel assembly time and the number of references to manage.
The mounting method according to the invention makes it possible to reduce the sealant width, reduces the number of parts and minimizes parts dressing to dismount during maintenance operations from where a reduced downtime of the vehicle.
The assembly method according to the invention is that of a window stationary glazing railroad vehicle running at high speed, it is characterized in that a first edge of the window is first placed by the outside of the vehicle in a groove located on a horizontal part of the bay frame and then the window is tilted to bring the second opposite edge of the window onto the opposite horizontal part of the bay frame, and finally said second opposite edge is attached from inside the vehicle to said opposite horizontal part of the bay frame. So, there is no mechanical fastening on the horizontal part of the window where is placed the throat, it is no longer necessary to disassemble all interior cladding during a window change, and the fixing of the other horizontal part by the interior allows to minimize the width putty. On the other hand the installation from the outside allows to realize the mounting the window regardless of the position of the vehicle in the assembly line, since the assembly or not of the dressing interior is not important.
According to a variant, the groove is located in the lower part of framing. The low position of the throat implies that the fasteners are located in the upper part of the window and therefore during the replacement it will be enough to open the articulated voussoir to have access mechanical fasteners of the window.
According to a particular characteristic, the glazing is a double glazing. Double glazing ensures better thermal insulation and sound.
According to a complementary feature, the double glazing is consisting of a single tempered glass associated with a laminated glass. The use of a single tempered glass on the passenger side, reduces the cost of double glazing.
According to another complementary characteristic, the width of the laminated glass is superior to that of single tempered glass. So the laminated glass covers about half of the bay amount of each side (half-trumeau), which ensures the continuity of the glazing. The windows of trumeau are therefore not necessary, which reduces the number of references to managed and optimize the time of the operations of mounting.
According to another characteristic, the height of the laminated glass is greater than that of single tempered glass.
According to another characteristic, the double glazing is assembled by gluing on a false frame consisting of two horizontal profiles and two vertical profiles. There is therefore no mechanical connection between horizontal profiles and vertical profiles. This design is simple and reduces the cost of coaching.
According to a complementary feature, the glazing is fixed from the inside on the vertical parts. In case the bindings horizontally sufficient to withstand the demands on service, especially in case of strong pressure variations such as when crossing in a tunnel of two high-speed trains.
