Definitions
- the present invention relates, on the one hand, to a main trunk intended to be integrated in a multi-point lock comprising at least one secondary trunk, said main trunk comprising a locking bolt capable of driving at least one control rod intended to be connected to the secondary chest, and secondly, to a multi-point lock including such a main chest.
- Document is known FR2 722 824 a locking device of the control rods of a main trunk in case of break-in.
- This device comprises a locking cam which, in the event of destruction of the groove shafts of the bolt, makes it possible to prevent the actuation of the control rods of the secondary chests.
- a burglar wishing to penetrate inside a room begins by fracturing the barrel to extract it from the main chest of the multi-point lock. Once this task has been completed, the burglar has access to the internal organs of the main safe and can therefore easily unlock the bolt previously housed in the keeper fixed in the door jamb to protect. For this, the burglar usually raises the groove whose teeth cooperate with the teeth presented by the tail of the bolt. The bolt is no longer locked in translation and the burglar can place it in its rest position. This unlocking operation of the bolt housed in the main trunk then causes, via the control rods, the unlocking of the bolt housed in each of the secondary chests. Thus, it is sufficient for the burglar to place the bolt of the main chest in its rest position to completely disable the multi-point lock.
- the present invention aims to solve the problem mentioned above, and for this purpose consists of a main safe according to claim 1.
- the ablation of the barrel does not involve the release of the bead stop: by the presence of the elastic return means, this bead stop remains in the locked position, and prevents the return of the rods of control and bolt to their unlocked position, and thus the opening of the door equipped with this device.
- control rod is equipped with a stop plate having a first edge, and the bead stop remains in contact with the first edge under the action of said elastic return means.
- This stop plate is preferably constituted by an insert and fixed in the control rod, but it should be understood that it could be formed directly in the control rod.
- control member is made using a bit equipped with a cam.
- this cam is made using a semi-circular piece provided with a peripheral ring.
- the bead stop has a curved edge adapted to cooperate with said cam.
- a main notch is formed in the first edge of the stop plate, and the bead stop advantageously comprises an outer shoulder adapted to be housed in the main notch when the bolt is in the locking position.
- the stop plate has a second edge parallel to the first in which is formed a secondary notch.
- the bead stop may comprise an end pin adapted to be housed in the secondary notch of the stop plate when the bead stop is forced to perform a greater stroke than expected to return to position d retraction.
- the present invention also relates to a multi-point lock, characterized in that it comprises a main trunk according to the invention connected to at least one secondary trunk by means of a control rod.
- a main chest 1 of a multi-point lock according to a preferred embodiment of the invention is made from two flanges 2 assembled to one another.
- the main chest 1 is attached to a headrest 3, and includes the parts well known to those skilled in the art usually used to ensure the locking and unlocking a locking bolt 4.
- Each flange 2 comprises, in the lower part, a central opening 5 adapted to the section of a barrel (not shown), the latter having a first portion and a second portion separated from one another by a mobile median bit 6 in rotation.
- the bit 6 is housed in said main chest 1, and the first portion and the second portion of the barrel protrude respectively from one side and the other of said main chest 1.
- this groove 7 is constituted by a plate having an internal face disposed opposite the shank 9 of the bolt 4.
- This groove 7 has an oblong slot 8 traversed by a transverse axis 10 secured to the main trunk 1.
- its groove 7 comprises a protruding shoulder 11 in which is hollowed a recess in order to constitute a housing adapted to cooperate with the toothing 12 of the shank 9 of the bolt 4.
- This shoulder 11 is surmounted by a nipple on which is reported a compression spring 14 constantly returning the groove 7 to the tail 9 of the bolt 4.
- a semicircular cam 15 provided with a peripheral ring 16 is introduced into the main box 1.
- This cam 15 is designed to have, once it is correctly positioned around the bit 6, a first end 17 and a second end 18 located on the circular path of said blade 6.
- the bolt 4 is provided with a drive pad 19 which is engaged in an opening 20 presented by an actuating plate 21 adapted to pivot about an axis 22 integral with the main box 1.
- this operating plate 21 has, on the one hand, a first slot 24 into which is introduced an axis 25 passing through a perforation presented by a first vertical branch 26 of a control rod 27, and secondly, a second slot 28 in which is slipped a lug 29 secured to a control arm 30 attached to a first control rod 31.

Often, a burglar wishing to penetrate inside a room begins by fracturing the barrel to extract it from the main chest of the multi-point lock.
The present invention aims to solve the problem mentioned above, and for this purpose consists of a main safe according to claim 1.
Thus, in such a box, the ablation of the barrel does not involve the release of the bead stop: by the presence of the elastic return means, this bead stop remains in the locked position, and prevents the return of the rods of control and bolt to their unlocked position, and thus the opening of the door equipped with this device.
According to a preferred embodiment, the control rod is equipped with a stop plate having a first edge, and the bead stop remains in contact with the first edge under the action of said elastic return means. This stop plate is preferably constituted by an insert and fixed in the control rod, but it should be understood that it could be formed directly in the control rod.
Advantageously, the control member is made using a bit equipped with a cam. Preferably, this cam is made using a semi-circular piece provided with a peripheral ring. Advantageously, the bead stop has a curved edge adapted to cooperate with said cam.
Preferably, a main notch is formed in the first edge of the stop plate, and the bead stop advantageously comprises an outer shoulder adapted to be housed in the main notch when the bolt is in the locking position.
Preferably again, the stop plate has a second edge parallel to the first in which is formed a secondary notch. In addition, the bead stop may comprise an end pin adapted to be housed in the secondary notch of the stop plate when the bead stop is forced to perform a greater stroke than expected to return to position d retraction.
The present invention also relates to a multi-point lock, characterized in that it comprises a main trunk according to the invention connected to at least one secondary trunk by means of a control rod.

The main chest 1 is attached to a
Each
La face biseautée 51 permet de faciliter la sortie de l'épaulement externe 46 hors de l'échancrure 41.When a person turns the key in the opposite direction in order to replace the
Although the invention has been described in connection with particular embodiments, it is obvious that it is not limited thereto and that it comprises all the technical equivalents of the means described and their combinations if they are within the scope of the invention as defined by the attached claims.
