Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cable terminal for connecting Branch conductor to main conductor of a main conductor of a power supply, after the preamble of claim 1.
- main conductor under main conductor is a cable harness of a main conductor cable is understood, which may have a plurality of main conductors.
- a main conductor points in usually a soul or vein and isolation on. The same applies to the branch conductor.
- From DE 39 33 609 A1 discloses a cable branch terminal for connecting branch conductor known to the main conductor, with at least two half-shelled, a receiving space of the main circuit cable forming clamping frames around the main conductor cable are attachable and enclose this in the operating state.
- Each contact element has several rows of first contact teeth, which are in the direction of receiving space of the main circuit cable.
- the clamping frames are interconnected and when screwing the penetration of the first contact teeth in the Soul of the associated main conductor of the main cable causes.
- the contact element To connect the main conductor with the branch conductor, the contact element a bore into which the branch conductor can be introduced.
- a clamping screw provided, which can be operated from the outside of the cable connection terminal is and holds the branch conductor in the bore of the contact element.
- the cable terminal of this prior art has a number of disadvantages on.
- Each branch conductor to be inserted must first be stripped to prevent to allow electrical contact with the contact element.
- the introduction the branch conductor on site at the site is not easy, due to the low Tolerances between branch conductor and bore of the contact element as well bending and crossing out the veins, which is also a corresponding time requires until the operator inserts the branch conductor into the hole Has.
- the two clamp frames are first placed around the main conductor cable and light fixed by the screws, without the contact elements through the core insulation bump.
- the clamping frame are always arranged so that the parting plane the two clamping frames are substantially horizontal, which leads to that the clamping screws of the lower two branch conductors can only be actuated from below are, so from the side of the soil ago, in which the main cable is located. This continues to lead to considerable assembly difficulties.
- branch conductors must always be firmly secured in their contact elements before penetration of the teeth the contact element is made in the main conductor, which is the immediate power connection causes.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object, a cable terminal for connecting branch conductor to main conductor of a power supply to create the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art overcomes, and the extremely simple and quick installation of the cable terminal allows while maintaining the necessary mounting security.
- the cable connection terminal according to the invention is characterized in that the Contact element is slidably received in the contact element housing, between the contact element and contact element housing a receiving space of the Branch conductor is provided, and that the contact element at least one row of second contact teeth, which penetrate into the associated branch conductor serve, which can be introduced into the receiving space of the branch conductor.
- the contact element has a plurality of rows of second contact teeth on. This leads on the one hand to a secure electrical contact between Contact element and branch conductor and on the other hand is an adaptation to different Given diameter of branch conductors with a contact element.
- the resulting mobility of the clamping frame segments allows furthermore advantageously contacting in a very large cross-sectional area in both the branch cables and the main cables with their Executives.
- the upper vertical wedge offset by 180 ° to the lower vertical wedge is arranged. This advantageously leads to the fact that the vertical Wedges can move past each other, and thus adapt to small Core cross sections of the main conductor is created.
- each vertical wedge a wedge element and a base element having a stop surface at the front end of the wedge member and a stop surface are provided on the base member. This leads advantageously to ensure that a defined end position when clamping the clamping frame is generated and thus a secure cable connection terminal is created.
- the contact element housing against a stop surface the branch conductor on This can for example be curved, and thus forms a good counter surface when pressing the branch conductor against it. simultaneously a lateral movement away the branch conductor is avoided.
- the contact element guide walls on, whose end faces serve as stop surfaces.
- stop devices provided in the contact element housing interact, which serve to limit the movement of the contact element and cooperate with the stop surface of the guide walls of the contact element.

- the two representations of Fig. 1 and Fig. 23 will be the particular advantage the great adaptability of the cable connection terminal 1 according to the invention can be seen on different conductor diameters.
- the limiting means 77 are removed for the smaller branch conductors 3, so that the stop surfaces 84 of the contact element 27 directly on the base portion 73 of the contact element housing 35 abut. Furthermore, it can be seen that the respective Stop surface 71 of a vertical wedge 23 against the stop surface 68th the other vertical wedge 23 abuts. Located in the left half of Fig. 23 the cable terminal 1 thus in its maximum clamping position.
- the cable terminal 1 of Fig. 23 is shown in side view. As shown in Fig. 24, the cable terminal is a continuous main conductor 5, whereas two branch conductors 3 are arranged from one side and two Branch conductor 3 are inserted from the other side into the cable connection terminal 1. Fig. 24 also shows all the resulting contour lines.
- Fig. 25 the cable terminal 1 of Fig. 23 is shown in top view, in particular, the dovetail guide between vertical wedge extension 17 and the associated clamping frame segments 9 and 11 clearly becomes.
