Description

  • On connaît des emballages, notamment pour produits alimentaires qui peuvent être ouverts par séparation à l'aide d'une prédécoupe ayant un contour fermé.
  • Si on prend par exemple le cas d'un paquet de biscuits en pochons, le consommateur peut prélever successivement les pochons afin de les consommer sur place ou en un autre lieu.
  • Dans ce dernier cas, le transport du pochon n'est pas aisé, car un pochon de biscuits est relativement fragile s'il n'est pas protégé, d'où un bris possible des biscuits.
  • Le brevet US-3 167 240 (COLLURA ) concerne un emballage dont la taille peut être réduite de moitié par découpe le long de lignes de prédécoupe. La moitié du contenu est prélevée et les parties prédécoupées sont jetées. Il n'est pas prévu de moyen pour protéger les produits prélevés lors de leur transport.
  • Pour remédier à ce problème, l'invention propose un emballage contenant des unités de consommation, qui sont des pochons, et présentant un corps s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale et ayant au moins trois côtés, l'emballage présentant à au moins une extrémité, un élément séparable permettant l'ouverture de l'emballage, tel que défini dans la revendication 1.
  • Du fait que l'emballage indépendant est formé à partir du corps de l'emballage d'origine, il peut recevoir un ou plusieurs des produits contenus dans celui-ci, et après fermeture du rabat de fermeture, l'emballage indépendant peut être utilisé pour le transport par exemple d'un pochon de biscuits pour le goûter d'un enfant.
  • Alternativement, la dimension de l'emballage indépendant peut être choisie pour permettre le transport de plus qu'un pochon, par exemple deux, ou bien plus, jusqu'au tiers du nombre des pochons notamment de biscuits.
  • L'emballage indépendant peut comporter ledit fond de l'emballage et une partie adjacente audit fond de chacun desdits côtés, le bord d'au moins une dite partie d'au moins un des côtés se prolongeant par un rabat de fermeture de l'emballage indépendant, ce rabat étant articulé à une portion droite du contour de prédécoupe qui est située sur ledit bord.
  • Selon un mode de réalisation, le contour fermé de prédécoupe n'est pas, sur deux côtés opposés du corps de l'emballage, parallèle au fond.
  • Selon une variante, l'emballage comporte trois côtés et le rabat présente trois côtés dont l'un est articulé à une portion droite d'un bord d'une dite partie d'un côté adjacent.
  • Avantageusement, le rabat triangulaire présente sensiblement le même contour que le fond de l'emballage.
  • Au moins, un des autres côtés du rabat triangulaire peut se prolonger par un rabat auxiliaire.
  • Selon une autre variante, l'emballage comporte quatre côtés.
  • Au moins un côté de l'emballage peut être au moins en partie courbe.
  • L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description ci-après, en liaison avec les dessins, dans lesquels :
    • les figures 1a à 1c illustrent une variante de l'invention dans laquelle l'emballage présente quatre côtés, la figure 2 représentant un mode de réalisation d'un flan en carton pour cette variante ;
    • les figures 3a à 3d illustrent une deuxième variante de l'invention dans laquelle l'emballage présente trois côtés ;
    • la figure 4 représente un mode de réalisation d'un flan en carton pour un emballage hexagonal illustré aux figures 5 à 5c.
  • La figure 1 représente un emballage à quatre côtés, ici du type parallélépipédique 1, par exemple une boîte de biscuits qui contient des pochons de biscuits. Le corps 10 de l'emballage présente deux faces principales opposées 14 et 15 et deux faces latérales opposées 11 et 12. Ces faces sont articulées entre elles par quatre lignes de pliage 18. Une ligne de prédécoupe 20 à contour fermé permet d'affaiblir localement le matériau constituant le corps 10 de l'emballage 1 en vue de détacher une boîte indépendante 2 apte à recevoir un ou plusieurs produits, par exemple un des pochons contenus dans un paquet de biscuit. La prédécoupe peut être réalisée par des pointillés comme représenté, ou bien par une ligne (continue ou discontinue) d'épaisseur diminuée, ou bien par modification d'une propriété du matériau de manière à l'affaiblir localement.
  • Dans l'exemple représenté, la ligne de prédécoupe présente deux lignes droites 21' et 24' parallèles au fond 17, et qui sont ménagées respectivement dans les côtés 14 et 15. Ces deux lignes sont reliées, sur le côté 11 par une ligne inclinée 22 et une ligne 23 portée par l'arête 18 commune aux côtés 11 et 15, et sur le côté 12 par une ligne inclinée 26 parallèle à la ligne inclinée 22 et une ligne 25 portée par l'arête 18 commune aux côtés 12 et 15.
  • Après séparation par mouvement rotatif comme indiqué par la flèche F, on obtient une boîte auxiliaire 2 dont la longueur est suffisante pour contenir un pochon, ou bien deux pochons, voire le tiers du nombre total de pochons du paquet. Suivant la position de la prédécoupe, on peut dimensionner la boîte auxiliaire 2 pour qu'elle puisse contenir le nombre désiré d'unité de consommation, ici des pochons de biscuits. La trace de la ligne de prédécoupe 20 donne les bords 21', 22', 23', 24', 25' et 26' sur l'emballage 1, et les bords 21", 22", 23", 24", 25" et 26" sur la boîte 2.
  • La boîte 2 comporte, outre le fond 17, un portion 112, 122, 142 et 152 de chacun des côtés 11, 12, 14 et 15, qui est adjacente au fond 17, la portion 152 intégrant un rabat de fermeture 29.
  • Les bords 23", 24" et 25" définissent le rabat de fermeture 29 qui est articulé autour d'une ligne de pliage 27. La boîte 2 ainsi obtenue est représentée en position ouverte à la figure 1b et fermée à la figure 1 c.
  • Une découpe ou une prédécoupe 28 située au voisinage du bord 24" et par coopération avec le bord 21 ", elle permet de conserver le volet 29 en position repliée (figure 1c).
  • On notera que la boîte 2 ayant pour fonction de protection du ou des produits lors du transport, il n'est pas nécessaire que le (ou les) volet(s) de fermeture 29 vienne(nt) obturer entièrement l'ouverture de la boîte 2. Il suffit que cette ouverture soit recouverte de manière suffisante pour éviter que les produits ne s'échappent, et de manière à leur assurer une éventuelle protection, par exemple pour des produits fragiles tels que des biscuits.
  • La boîte 2 peut être réutilisée plusieurs fois (au moins trois fois) jusqu'à ce que l'emballage principal 1 soit vide. Ceci évite d'utiliser pour chaque unité de consommation un suremballage individuel, qui s'ajouterait à l'emballage principal.
  • Un flan pour la mise en oeuvre de l'emballage des figures 1 a à 1c est représenté à la figure 2. On voit qu'il peut être réalisé de manière classique, sans nécessiter de matière supplémentaire. Il suffit d'ajouter la ligne de prédécoupe 20 à un flan par ailleurs classique. Les fonds 16 et 17 peuvent être classiques, si bien que l'emballage peut être également ouvert comme un emballage classique (ouverture par l'un des fonds 16 ou 17) sans déchirer la prédécoupe 20.
  • On voit que le côté 12 étant en double épaisseur (121, 122), la prédécoupe 26 sur ce côté 12 est en deux parties superposées 261, 262.
  • Aux figures 3a à 3d, l'emballage 3 présente trois côtés 31, 32, 33 formant un triangle par exemple équilatéral. La prédécoupe comporte les lignes 41 (côté 31 ), 42 (arête 381), 43 (côté 32), 44 (arête 382) et 45 (côté 33). Une ligne de pliage 46 parallèle au fond 36 permet de plier le volet de fermeture 49 auquel s'articulent deux volets secondaires 48 par les lignes de pliage 47. Après détachement de l'emballage 3, on obtient un boîtier secondaire 4 présentant le fond 36 et des portions 312 à 332 des côtés 31 à 33 qui sont adjacents à ce fond, la portion 322 se prolongeant par un volet de fermeture 49. Le rabat triangulaire 49 présente des rabats auxiliaires 48 qui peuvent s'engager le long des côtés 31 et 33 pour maintenir le rabat 49 en position fermée.
  • On a représenté des emballages ayant des côtés plans.
  • L'invention concerne également des emballages ayant un ou plusieurs côtés courbes (convexes ou concaves). Le côté (ou les côtés) qui porte(nt) un volet est (sont) de préférence au moins en partie plans. Il est possible cependant d'articuler un volet sur un côté courbe en déformant localement le matériau (en général du carton ou une matière plastique) pour qu'il existe localement une ligne d'articulation droite pour le volet.
  • Par exemple, pour un emballage à quatre côtés, au moins les côtés 11 et 12 peuvent être convexes. Pour un emballage à trois côtés, au moins les côtés 31 et 33 peuvent être convexes ou concaves, auquel cas, le rabat 49 définit un triangle curviligne dont les côtés 47 sont convexes ou concaves.
  • Le flan représenté à la figure 4 présente six côtés 18 à 68 articulés entre eux par des lignes de pliage 128, 238, 348, 458, et 568. La découpe s'effectue selon les lignes de prédécoupe 118,348, 218, 328, 448, 418,518 et 76, ainsi que 760 (sur la patte de collage 10). Les autres lignes (228, 318, 428 et 71 à 75) sont des lignes de pliage. Après mise en forme de l'emballage 8, et séparation (figures 5a à 5c), la fermeture est obtenue pour l'essentiel à l'aide du rabat central 84 articulé au côté 38 le long de la ligne de pliage 73, et qui est bordé de part et d'autre de deux paires de volets, à savoir d'une part 82 et 83 et d'autre part 83 et 84. Ces volets sont articulés entre eux (lignes de pliage 228 et 428) au rabat central 84 (lignes de pliage 238 et 348), ainsi qu'à côté (28, 48) de l'emballage, qui est adjacent au côté 38 (lignes de pliage 72 et 74). Optionnellement, des volets auxiliaires articulés (en 71 et 75) aux côtés 18 et 58 permettent de parachever la fermeture. Le contour arrondi 328 définit une patte de fermeture 320 articulée en 318 au volet central 84.
  • Un tel système associant un rabat central bordé par deux paires de volet est utilisable pour des emballages présentant au moins quatre côtés.

Claims (12)

  1. Emballage contenant des unités de consommation qui sont des pochons et présentant un corps s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale et ayant au moins trois côtés , l'emballage présentant à au moins une extrémité, un élément séparable permettant l'ouverture de l'emballage, caractérisé en ce que l'élément séparable présente un contour fermé de prédécoupe (20) distant d'un fond (17) de l'emballage, ledit contour fermé (20) délimitant, après séparation de l'élément séparable d'une part, un emballage indépendant (2) présentant au moins un rabat de fermeture (29) et qui peut contenir entre un pochon et le tiers des pochons présents au départ dans l'emballage, et d'autre part, un emballage principal (1), de sorte que l'emballage indépendant (2) peut être réutilisé au moins trois fois jusqu'à ce que l'emballage principal (1) soit vide.
  2. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'emballage indépendant (2) a une longueur lui permettant de contenir entre un pochon et le tiers des pochons.
  3. Emballage selon une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que l'emballage indépendant (2) comporte ledit fond de l'emballage (17) et une portion, adjacente (112, 122, 142, 152) audit fond (17), de chacun desdits côtés (11, 12, 14, 15) au moins une desdites portions (152) se prolongeant par un rabat de fermeture (29) de l'emballage indépendant (2), articulé à une région droite (27) du contour de prédécoupe qui est situé sur une dite portion (152).
  4. Emballage selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte trois côtés (31, 32, 33) et en ce qu'il comporte un rabat (49) à trois côtés (46, 47) qui est articulé par un premier côté à une région droite (46) d'une dite portion (322) adjacente au fond (36).
  5. Emballage selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que ledit rabat triangulaire (49) présente sensiblement le même contour que le fond (36) de l'emballage.
  6. Emballage selon une des revendications 4 ou 5, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un des deuxième et troisième côtés (47) dudit rabat triangulaire (49) se prolonge par un rabat auxiliaire (48).
  7. Emballage selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte quatre côtés.
  8. Emballage selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que, sur deux côtés opposés (11, 12) de l'emballage, le contour fermé de prédécoupe n'est pas parallèle audit fond (17).
  9. Emballage selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un côté est au moins en partie courbe.
  10. Emballage selon une des revendications 1 à 3 caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins quatre côtés et notamment six côtés.
  11. Emballage selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que l'emballage indépendant (80) présente un rabat central (84) qui est articulé à un premier côté (38) de l'emballage, et qui est bordé de part et d'autre par une paire de rabats (82, 83, 85, 86) articulés entre eux, ainsi qu'au rabat central (84) et à un côté (28, 48) adjacent audit premier côté (38).
  12. Emballage selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les unités de consommation sont des pochons de biscuits.
