  17. Device according to claim 16, characterized in that the transfer holding device (50) comprises at least one roller pair (51, 52).
  18. Device according to claim 17, characterized in that a drive (54) is provided for one roller (51) of the roller pair (51, 52).
  19. Device according to claim 17, characterized in that a lifting drive (53) is provided for one roller (52) of the roller pair (51, 52).
  20. Machine of the tobacco processing industry, in particular a cigarette rope machine or filter attachment machine, having a device for conveying a wrapping strip (25) of the tobacco processing industry according to one or more of claims 1 to 19.
